Our first floor room was extremely pleasant, light and airy with a balcony looking over the car park to the hills. At the back there is another good view to the hills the other way. The room was a good size with an equally good bathroom and shower. Despite being near the road it was quiet. It had all the necessaries for self catering and sufficient crockery and cutlery to mean that the dishwasher wasn't wasted in the room.

It was a little bit out of town so you had to drive to amenities and the lake. This didn't bother us at all but may be relevant for others.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Great rooms, very clean and comfy and space to sort your bags out if its been a long journey and you need to repack . The views are good too, front and back. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a couple of days to explore the area. We walked to Wanaka town centre at an easy pace in less than 20 minutes, it was a nice walk. Good place for hiking, swimming, kayaking etc all close by - and there's a New World in town if you need to restock supplies.

The room was spacious, well appointed, modern and very clean. Mountain views from the bedroom and lounge room were spectacular. Secure vehicle parking was right outside our door. Modern heating and cooling - two smart tvs, bluetooth speakers, the kitchenette was well appointed - everything you could possibly want. The staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again and will recommend to friends and family visiting Wanaka. Thank you for a lovely stay.

- It was very luxurious and everything (subtle lighting, beds, cookware, crockery, toiletries, bathrobes, wooden hangers, etc) was of very high quality. - The room was serviced everyday which was a pleasant surprise - Matt (at the front desk) was extremely helpful and cheerful. - That there was no cross-ventilation (i.e. the sliding door and window were only on one side of the room) but there was very good air-conditioning/heating and kitchen rangehood which made up for it - Small details: no sponge for washing dishes, would be good to provide 2nd suitcase stand

Matt was great and provided us will anything we needed. The place was one of the best place we have stayed at so far on our 6 weeks of travel. Everything was very clean and the beds we great. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to stay.

The only thing missing was location as Wānaka is a beautiful place on the water that would have been nice to see from our balcony. You still have views of the mountains. It is still easy enough to walk downtown in 20 mins or a 5 minute drive. This more of a personal preference then a disappointing

West Meadows of Wanaka surpassed all expectations, thanks to the exceptional warmth and friendliness of the host. Their dedication to ensuring a comfortable stay was truly remarkable, going the extra mile at every turn. The location couldn't have been better, with easy access to the city center and breathtaking mountain views adding to the charm. Highly recommended for an unforgettable experience in Wanaka.

Very new place and well done. Very nice facilities with BBQ and laundry available to guests.

Our unit had a communicating door to the next one and the tenants cooked very smelly fishy food and we doudoune stop the smell from invading our entire room which lasted until the early morning. Maybe the communicating doors could be better insulated… There were clear guidelines about cooking smelly food that the tenants clearly didn’t follow.

We received a very warm welcome by the lovely host! The place was great; clean, cosy, comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Just a short 2 mins drive to the lake front and centre of town. Highly recommend.

If you havent got a car, just keep in mind its not walking distance to the centre.

The room which was spotless, was very comfortable, spacious and well furnished. The kitchenette was also very well equipped. We loved the fact that there was parking for the first-floor units directly at the door i.e. there were only a couple of steps from the car boot to the door of the unit.

It was alittle too far from to walk down to a restaurant in the town for dinner.

The room was excellent - great bed, bathroom & kitchenette. The room & bathroom were far larger than most. The TV was modern. To be honest, the room was the equal of many 5 star hotel rooms we've stayed in.

While it didn't concern us much, we thought the carpet was about ready for a steam clean. The motel is a little out of town but only 5 minutes by car to the center of Wanaka. We had a car & this wasn't a problem for us. If you don't have a car, this could be an issue.
