After parking mess, Housekeeping staff visited around 2pm every day offering to replenish supplies & towelling. Was at friend's one night & came back to room totally made up. I felt looked after. Washer & dryer available & appreciated. Easy lift to 3rd floor, The Terrace or Ground Floor, Lambton Quay & its bus stop, feel safer using bus stop at early morn/night.

Had 2 turn shower head 2 the wall or else water pooled up to the toilet so you'd have wet feet when using it. Sloped shower floor might have helped, bad design. Special Request for a car park, received message saying YES then another after, saying only available for half of my stay. When I got there, they said I hadn't "confirmed" (isn't that what a Request is for?) & gave my park away so I only used their car park ONCE out of the 4 nights I stayed. Luckily their suggested Clifton car park was cheaper & 170m away. A bit too much 'Mental Admin' to figure out on holiday.

First time here, I got a "secret deal" through this site so I'm not sure if you'll pay the same rate I did, but it was good enough value to try it. The room was a decently large size, the bathroom is quite large also, and well separated. Good little kitchenette with microwave and lots of cutlery etc. The TV has the free and some pay channels - this seems to be getting rarer in the era of BYO streaming services only, so it's a nice touch. My favourite thing though is the light insulation - the curtains shut right to the edge, the only standby light is on the TV, which can be turned off at the wall, and no light leaks under the doorway. It's also a very quiet room, I never heard any of the other room guests.

The room was unusually warm, it might be ideal in the middle of winter, but I found myself having to open a window at night. There's a heater, but no AC (or at least there didn't appear to be any control for it in my room).

The location is great, and accommodation was comfortable.

There's a lack of car park for hotel guest (just three), and the parking suggested is a bit of a walk up hill, and the parking rates restart upon each exit. There doesn't seem to be a service lift, and we encountered a lot of the cleaning staff and one of the lifts ended up smelling like vomit! It'd also be nicer if there was an extra bathroom, and if the shower head was changed into an hand shower head (which would be easier to bathe and shower young children). We also prefer handwash more than the soap bars provided.

Great space, very liveable for my stay. Room and bathroom size were really good. Kitchenette did the job

Being next to the Landry room was noticeably loud, people would use it pass 10pm which I felt was still a bit late and it would sound like someone was at my door till they were done. I would have preferred a different location of the room for the length of time I was there. Two single beds pushed together isn’t very comfortable and no space really to put away clothes. All these things are okay for a couple nights but I was there for 12

Great location with one exit to Lambton Key and another to The Terrace. Reception helpful and room was clean. Had the facilities you would expect. I especially liked the spaciousness of the room - there was plenty of room for 2 people to sit at the coffee table away from the bed - unusual in central Wellington. There was also a roomy area by reception with a large table and stools and also a couch and chairs. We met a family member and needed to distance for health reasons and it was easy to achieve there.

There's no valet service to help with bags or room service/ability to get food at the hotel and that end of Lambton Quay and The Terrace is pretty closed on the weekend. Managed to find a coffee on Sunday morning at the chocolate shop down the road! Having said that it is excellent value for money.

The location was excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. Recommend staying there if you're in Wellington.

The parking is limited and needs to be booked at the same time as booking the room something that we were not advised of until we arrived. There is a public parking area close by but it cost $56 to park there for two days. The pillows needed to be replaced as they were quite thin. Upgrading the TVs to be capable of casting Netflix or other streaming apps would be an added feature or having access to something other than normal TV channels such as Sky cable.

Location perfect for shopping, eating places, supermarket nearby and waterfront and Te papa all easy walking distance. Airport bus (AX) stops right outside hotel so easy to use public transport. Beds comfortable, nice linen and kitchen essentials available. Our Jetstar flight home was delayed and the reception allowed us a late checkout with no problem and then watched our luggage for a few hours.

Bathroom could do with a spruce, very tight space for getting ready in the morning with a family but it was clean and not a major issue. Bathroom extraction fan could be stronger. One remote for 2 TVs was inconvenient.

The location. The hotel is on The Terrace side but once you check in as a guest, you can access to the other side of Lambton Quay with your hotel card. The reason why I choose this hotel due to the location near the Clifton Car Park (which we need to park our car at due to the competitive parking rate compared to hotel's parking rate and also Wilson Parking.

Overall, there's nothing to complain about except I was shocked the housekeeping team left their laundry bag(which contained all the dirty towel I guess) in our room after the housekeeping service (which I forgot to mentioned to the receptionist during checked out time). Other than that, everything is good.

The beds are fabulous had 2 great sleeps. The bedrooms are big! Shower size great! Accessible to both The Terrace and Lambton! Great kitchen size. Plenty of towels! Would stay again if in Wellington. Good security accessing lift to room.

No kitchen sink plug as I couldnt get the dishwasher to work, used a large pot to wash the dishes. Also could have done with more kitchen equipment, like large bowls to put fruit in or whip up scrambled eggs in. The 2 comfy chairs were badly stained so put towels over them. Suggest recovering them. Otherwise was great!

Didn't eat breakfast. Great location!! though was dropped at the bottom of all the steps up on Lambton Quay; a bit steep with a suitcase ! But not the bus drivers fault...

Very few utensils and no coffee making stuff in the little kitchenette. But the nice lady at the desk did lend me a little coffee plunger when I asked :-) The air conditioning was fairly noisy all night, and unable to be switched off (as far as I could find). Bonus was I could open the window a bit which helped the air and let the wind blow in a bit.
