Great location, convenient parking.

Room service on Friday night took 2 hours for a toasted sandwich. Understand that would be a lot of guests ordering food after return from concert, after an hour wait phoned and was told that it was on its way. 40 minutes later I called again to cancel the order and sate the fact that obviously wasn't on its way last call - was told that being put on the plate now. 20 minutes later it arrived at 1-54am!

The location is very good - pretty much everything is within walking distance. The room was very clean and the view over the harbour and New Years Eve fireworks was amazing. 24/7 reception and the possibility of parking was very useful too. The staff was kind, responsive and did their very best to accommodate our requests

Considering the price, parking could’ve been included. We asked the staff for a lunchbox/takeaway breakfast since we had to be on a ferry before 7 AM. They gave us 3 options of breakfast to choose from and we chose sandwiches. When we got the bags, we didn’t look inside as we were in a hurry. Once on the ferry, we wanted to eat those sandwiches, only to discover that we were only given some fruit (1 banana and 1 apple), and a muffin and an orange juice, but no sandwiches in either of the bags.

1. Parking low 2,2m, narrow high rgadient ramps, not suitable for low riding car, 2. Very heavy pedestrian traffic ( non hotel residents). Health and security risk ! 3. No security personell at all.

I booked and paid for a super king bed and double bedroom. They don't have king beds and double beds in one bedroom so had to pay extra for a pull away bed. I already had paid for 3 people one room. the Facilites don't have this type of room booked at their hotel. So paid for room they don't have and had to pay extra at hotel for pull out bed. Their reply was go back to bookings and complaint. We don't have those rooms and you have to pay extra. Should not be advertising rooms that don't exist.

Selling and paying for a room that doesn't exist. Then having to pay extra to hotel. Misleading advertising and costs.

Well serviced, clean, and maintained. Option of two beds was good as they were a bit narrower than we are used to (King) so we felt a bit cramped the first night then slept separately the succeeding nights. My wife twisted her ankle (away from the hotel!) but when we went to our room the housemaid noticed her hobbling and offered to get us a bag of ice for it, which she did. She was also reluctant to take anything for doing that but I insisted.

Bathroom, although clean and well looked after, was a bit dated. Don't like showers above a bath, would rather have no bath and walk-in shower.

Room was spacious and comfortable for my son and I, (away for his birthday). Beds were great, comfortable with good variety in pillow heights, (I like flat pillows). Aircon was fully adjustable, again a bugbear for me. Bathroom was good and clean. Good selection of TV channels as well. Brilliantly located. We used the lifts down onto Lambton Quay and from there bus/train access to all over the city was extremely handy, as were smaller but useful supermarkets and all the good shopping Wellington offers.

One minor issue, shower water pressure slightly down because the showerhead leaked. That needs minor adjustment.

The best thing about this hotel is its location - right in the CBD. The room facilities are fairly basic but having a fridge and a kettle for some late night tea is really great.

It's a shame that such a rich giant hotel passes the credit card / paywave surcharges onto their guests. I had a credit card attached to my booking which they could use, yet they required a physical credit card to be present at check-in, otherwise they wouldn't progress. I left the card in the car so had to leave and pick it up which is not an easy task given WLG parking situation.

Very convenient parking and accessibility to the hotel. Location is fantastic for shopping and dining experiences in Wellington City. Rooms and bathrooms are VERY clean! Love that you are able to access all the rooms lighting from your bedside table. Great functions available on the Smart TV. Staff were all very friendly and informative, including the restaurant staff. I'll be back again.

There was a locked door between the two rooms which made it very easy to hear the people next door - this must depend on your room because the next time we stayed we didn't have this issue. Breakfast was good value for money but when dining for dinner we felt the price was a bit steep and will probably opt to dine in the city next time.

Excellent staff, all were polite, courteous and helpful during our stay. Our room was very clean and well presented, with all vanity items being fully provided. The shower was particularly good, strong jet of water and large shower area. Breakfast was absolutely excellent (10/10 +) with a massive choice of breakfast eats being offered. The restaurant bar and lobby bar were excellent and the restaurant bar offered a quiet area to sit during the day. All in all an excellent and very well run hotel in the very centre of Wellington CBD. We will definately make for this hotel if/ when visiting Wellington again.

Nothing we did not like.

Great hotel. Reception and most staff friendly and helpful. Rooms large, clean and beds comfortable. Location excellent. A great hotel i would happily rebook.

We came for WOW. Got back to hitel 9.30 no food available even simple cheese crackers Foyer and bar busy with WOW audience asking for simple food. Given that WOW is an annual event surely some forward planning could be Utilised to offer simple cheese platters to guests who were happy to stay and drink at the bar to discuss the show with others instead of which many took the sad alternative of buying food at countdown to take to their rooms a missed opportunity? Aware there is room service but $28 for a toasted cheese sammie ???
