Beautiful scenery and complimentary activities like kayaking and snorkeling

Wish we had an outdoor feet wash before entering our suite. We walk on sand between our room and the public areas like the pool and dining facilities.

Literally everything ❤️. The place is unique, located in an incredible island, 20 min boat ride from El Nido Port. First, the way from the airport from the hotel was great, super easy and comfortable. Then, we really loved the food they served in the restaurant (different options and all were great). Then, if you are looking for island hoping or scuba diving , you can already book the tours directly in the hotel. Finally, staff was the best. Always trying to help, assist you or making a recommendation. Special thanks to Pirlyn that was always there to help us with our tours and also to Remar, our tour guide for island hoping looking up for new places regardless of the weather. Its a great location with access by boat and a raft so not really for the unfit or elderly. Our Villa was in a great location by a lagoon. Breakfast was good as was the restaurant although expensive for what it was. The bar staff were very friendly and attentive. Our island hop excursions was great as was the Spa. Plenty of Snorkelling and canoeing.

While its no-ones fault there was a Typhoon it became dangerous to leave by boat and we saw injuries to staff and guests put in unsafe situations and some having to swim in rough seas to be able to leave. Information about any uncertainty is poor as the culture is to please so no bad news is given making it almost impossible to get a true answer to many questions. Transport to the airport is provided but if your flight is delayed and have hours or sometimes a day or two to wait you are left to your own devices.

Simply fall in love. A charming hotel on a secluded and quiet island that maintains the environment at a high level. Starting with the rooms. Spacious, cozy, air-conditioned, equipped with everything you need for a vacation. A saltwater pool and a lovely beach with coconut trees, sun beds and chairs. An activity center for guests with diving, kayaking, climbing, and more. Excellent cuisine with fresh and good food. A charming bar with lots of types of alcohol and most importantly??? An amazing team of empathetic, kind, courteous employees, an extremely high level of service. I would especially like to mention Mark, who welcomed us with great love, and Lala from the reception desk, who did us a lot of good. We were lucky and during our stay, sea turtle eggs hatched and we watched the whole amazing process.

We happened to be on the same flight as the Front manager Mak, so even before getting to the resort we felt the warmth that the resort and its staff exudes. Every staff member was warm, welcoming and helpful. They went above and beyond to make their guests happy. Food was excellent, the buffet breakfasts had great variety. The villa was comfortable. We liked that there was a hose at the front of the beach villa to wash our feet before entering the villa. Their tour guides are knowledgable and catered to our interests.

The gym is sufficient but it could use some TLC.

It was our first stay of our 2 week holiday in the Philippines in mid-November and it exceeded our expectations. The views were so beautiful, the resort is tranquil, and the location was on an island. I'd say it is perfect for a 2-3 night stay, as it is the only resort on the island. You will have enough time to use all facilities, snorkel, and head to the spa - we had the best massages here! Our room was very spacious and had a convenient layout. It was equipped with an outdoor shower also. Make sure to ask about the sunrise hike. A guide takes you up one of the mountains an hour before sunrise, and you will have the opportunity to sit at one of the highest points and wait for the sun to rise—magical and breathtaking! Food was good, they have a decent variety of international food to suit many. Cocktails are also good. A bit on the high side, but worth the whole experience. Highly recommended.

Staff was very helpful and pleasant, specially at the restaurant and pool bar. The tours from the hotel were amazing. The hike is totally worth it, amazing views. The spa was truly a gem, the masseuses 10/10.

The hotel is a bit old but pretty comfortable. We had to book a beach villa since the water villa was not available for the whole stay and we unfortunately were allocated to a room in the second row with no access to private sun beds by the beach -only to first row beach villas (which was not advised open booking). Food was good but not great. The beach is nice but due to the tide you can’t swim at all times

The property was stunning. The landscaping and grounds were well kept. Our room was decorated beautifully. It was clean and everything was in working order. Staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The restaurant had plenty of choices and everything ordered was good. Breakfast buffet was excellent.

Flies at the restaurant were abhorrent, though staff did provide fans and citronella candles, it did not help at all. We were constantly swatting throughout our meals. Activities were very limited during our stay due to ‘weather conditions’. And we were rushed out on our last day, being given 30 minutes notice (with four children and a party of 10)!

Amazing property, views were unreal and facilities were great. Water villa was extraordinary! Glass bottom on balcony was very cool and loungers were very comfortable. they made a very cool display on our bed for our honeymoon!

Pool was salt water, food seemed overpriced for being mediocre, boat transfer time was different than scheduled making us wait and rush to catch our land transfer but we did make it! We had no hot water in the evening and morning. Some of the “included” activities like snorkelling felt like less care was given since it was free. There was no one to help us choose snorkel gear and there wasn’t any clean goggles, when we asked someone he disappeared to look for someone else and didn’t come back. We didn’t get to see much snorkelling. Nothing major but something you expect for the amount you’re paying to stay.

From the second we stepped foot in Lio Airport the Cauayan staff took care of everything. We did not have to carry our own baggages until drop off at the end of our stay. Apart from the endless amazing amenities Cauayan offers (snorkeling, kayak, paddling, hiking, gym, etc...) the food & service was just exceptional. I booked a surprise floating dinner for my boyfriend & the staff prepared it with so much love & eye for detail. I was truly amazed. I could go on & on about how attentive & considerate the staff was. Each & every staff member made us feel like home. Special thanks to Jolary, Nick, Joar? (not sure if that was spelled right)
