The staff were amazing and completely made our stay at Outpost. They were friendly from the moment we arrived, took the time to remember all of our names and made the trip personal & unforgettable! The tours A & C offered by Outpost were unbelievable, made more exceptional by the staff going above and beyond. All of the facilities were great - they were clean & comfortable. Rooms were spacious and well laid out. The communal bathrooms were very clean & water warm! Location was perfect for exploring El Nido by boat & watching sunsets! It was a close ride into town with transport just outside the hostel. I would recommend Outpost hostel to anyone visiting El Nido & will be returning anytime I’m back in the Philippines!

A super positive and inclusive party hostel. The staff were all very welcoming and kind. I put only one night originally in my reservation in case I disliked the hostel, but within 5 minutes of arrival I realized how amazing it was and I booked a bunch more nights. There is a great atmosphere and even shy guests participated in games and such. They give lots of generous prizes and had good meals. The excursion I took to some islands was really fun too. I highly recommend this place, especially for solo travelers. It was so special meeting so many solo travelers and groups of foreigners. I met people from all walks of life and made good friends. Definitely take as many excursions as possible. One more thing, I got a bit sick one night and was unable to go on my excursion that morning. I asked the staff if I could switch my excursion reservation to the next day, and they not only allowed me to, but one of the receptionists even brought me hot tea to my room to be nice. Little things like that mean a lot to me when I'm traveling solo and completely on my own. Thank you so much to the staff!

The only negative I can think of is the pathway to the hostel from the road. You have to walk down some stairs from the street through a bunch of rubble and random debris, then walk along the beach a minute to get there. They could get a better entryway so that there's a more positive first impression upon arrival. Even then, however I loved the hostel and got used to it.

Well located, spacious rooms and bathroom with hot water and always clean. It's a party hostel, but every night they close at midnight. Beautiful view of sunrise and sunset.

We had problems with bedbugs, which were apparently the first time they had happened at the hostel, so we had a hard time dealing with them, but they did happen. However, the staff is young, so we had to be very proactive in dealing with them, because the person in charge at reception didn't seem to understand the seriousness of it all. We would still recommend staying here, knowing that it was an isolated incident and the place is clean.

When in El Nido, this hostel is a must-stay! The staffs are such legends who go above and beyond, making it one of the best hostels I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The food is exceptional , especially the burger that scored a solid 11/10. The tours and activities are expertly organised, creating a social and welcoming atmosphere. And lets not forget the breathtaking sunset views! While it’s a short 5- minute ride (100 pesos by tuktuk) from the centre, trust me, it’s well worth it.

Wifi only works better in the lounge area.

I’ve been traveling in SE Asia for 6 months and this has been my favorite hostel I’ve stayed at! The staff is so incredible and kind, they make you feel welcome from the moment you step in. It’s located right on the beach, so close when high tide comes in you enter/exit from the back of the building. I was able to arrange any tours, onward travel easily and they always had something going on at night! Truly loved every minute of my stay! Definitely recommend!

Great value for money. Staff gave a warm welcome and were very accommodating. There's a beautiful view of the beach and sunset within the vicinity. Dormitory-style beds were comfortable and towels/blankets were provided. They provide nightly events too.

The room can become quite hot at certain times, especially when it's full. Weak Wi-Fi inside the room. Their service, breakfast menu, and activities are tailored toward foreign guests, and may not be recommended for local (Filipino) guests.

Outpost! i loved the homey, family vibe that all the staff gave. the social aspect of outpost was the best and where I’ve met some amazing people! the facilities were great and I felt very comfortable in the duration of my stay. the view out into the sea and islands of el nido was absolutely stunning especially during the sunset. the food and drink that was served was top-tier as well. definitely recommend this place for solo-travellers alike :)

The staff are amazing so helpful and kind. We did boat tour A and the crew were fantastic we had the best day. Social events every night make it easy to make new friends but isn’t loud from the rooms if you want to chill in the evenings. Sunset view is amazing. Overall a great stay.

My only small cons were there was no free drinking water because of the water quality. Also the food personally every time I ate here I was unwell after :(

I would recommend every single person to stay at outpost, amazing staff, extremely friendly, all amazing! They will always help you however they can. Rooms were clean, beds were comfy and the events were perfect for meeting the other guests. The outpost staff made my stay in El Nido even more special

It was a bit far away from the city or the night life, but you could easily share a TukTuk for 50 pesos per person. The hostel was still amazing

Good daily activities, friendly and helpful staff, many shower and toilets pretty clean everyday.

You cannot be in your room during the day cuz they turn off the AC from 11 to 6 pm. I’m not saying we go the stay at the hostel room, but sometimes you had enough hot days and wanna rest somewhere colder. They have the lounge area but it’s pretty hot as the sun hit there most of the day
