The location itself is the main selling point. It's near the Jaime Velasquez Park where the famous Salcedo Weekend Market is held every Saturday. The rooms were, in itself, very good and well-designed. All the staff were very professional.

We couldn't really use the balcony due to the construction right in front of the property so I think the property was a little bit overpriced considering the work around its area. Room cleaning was slow, too. We left our room the whole day, the cleaning staff were on our floor when we left, and yet when we came back the room was still not cleaned.

I've stayed at the Picasso I think more than 120 times over the last 8 years. I like the location, the spacious rooms, the overall cleanliness and the simplicity. The staff are gracious and efficient. The food at Pablos is very good and has improved in recent visits. Cocktails are great. Its not for people who need a big business centre, swimming pool and gardens. But for them there are loads of alternatives. LP Leviste Street gets better and better food options with every year. And on Saturdays there is Salcedo Market which is a treat. 7/11 next door is perfect for emergencies and milk.

Little cups are too small for tea or coffee. They need to be upsized. Shower faucets etc are showing their age and can drip infuriatingly.

Spacious room, good air cond, comfy bed and clean. I really like it especially if you are on a business trip and you need a proper desk for your work. 7-eleven is just beside the hotel, very convenient! Overall, the staff was very friendly and nice. Excellent!

The security deposit information was unclear, from the website it stated to prep for PHP10,000 - at the 1st glance this is too much, however, after confirming with the staff, it's only PHP2,000/night. Maybe can update this information online to avoid any miscommunication/misunderstanding.

The location in the heart of Salcedo village in Makati is absolutely perfect. There are so many great places to eat nearby, you can walk to some of the trendy places in Polacion and it is 30-40 minutes from the Airport. The rooms are very large and spacious, housekeeping is great, the gym is empty (which is good!) and you have Picasso restaurant and Cartel's excellent coffee shop right below you. Tremendous value and I will definitely stay there again.

The only issue is the construction on the building across the street. This meant that I could not use my lovely balcony during the day as it was too dusty and noisy which was a shame. Totally not the fault of the hotel of course. It would also have been great to have a pool etc but of course this little hotel is right in the middle of Salcedo village so you can't have everything.

Perfect location, our room was big and spacious, well designed, and the security and cleaning staff were superb. It was also nice that Cartel delivered straight to our room! I also like that I was able to print my transfer tax receipt at the reception. Great value for money! We’ll be back for sure.

The people manning the front desk were not always hospitable and friendly. I didn’t feel welcome upon arrival. That’s a bit sub-par for a hotel in the heart of Makati. Also the phone at the reception wasn’t always answered. But the security and cleaning staff were superb, also all the servers in Pablo.

Room was great, beds were comfortable and sheets were nice and clean. There was enough space for the four of us with our luggage, air conditioning was nice and cold. 7-eleven almost next door was convenient. Breakfast in the restaurant was delicious. Staff were super nice.

The fact that we were checked in to a room with a single bed despite there being four of us. Reception did ask if we're aware that we've booked a room for four which might be a bit small but didn't mention there's only one bed. On the booking platform the room selected was advertised as suitable for four so how were we to know? There was an option to select two beds, which we did. In the end they swapped us to another room so all was well.

Great location for restaurants, cafes, bars, saturday and Sunday market. Overall clean and comfortable, great to be able to make small meals. Balcony is a nice plus. Staff are friendly and housekeeping are attentive.

Slight hair on floor, housekeeping needs to be more attentive on floor fort. BEWARE-the drinks in the fridge are CHARGED, they are not left overs from previous clientele. I did not know that and was charged 815 pesos for 3 items! Management has to post a sign on the fridge.

The room is really spacious, in fact for one person it was a little too spacious, but it's not a complaint. :) The room and toilet are very clean and they also provide soap and shampoo in the toilet which was great. I used the gym on both days of my stay and it was pretty empty in the morning so it was nice. There are no towels provided in the gym though, so you might want to request for one. Most hotel gyms have rusty equipment but the machines and free weights I used were in fairly good condition here.

The only thing I was confused about was that I didn't find a power point near the bed so I had to get up to charge my phone near the TV.

I regularly stay here. Some great deals can be got on both Agoda and booking.com if in advance. The rooms are huge, very well appointed. The location is great - 1km to the east is Poblacion, loads of local bars and pubs and clubs. 1km to the west is Greenbelt with loads of restaurants, coffee shops, and high end retail. There is a great on site restaurant. There are plenty of breakfast choices nearby.

One thing that became apparent this trip. I went out and had Indian food, and there was way too much so I brought the remained back to the room to reheat as there is a micro-wave. Although this is advertised as a Residence, and there is a microwave in the room, this is largely just to pay lip-service to the listing, as there are no crockery, cuttlery, or kitchenware.
