Lovely clean room and comfortable bed and pillows. Towels changed daily. I wish they were a little bigger for larger people to be able to wrap around yourself whilst your doing makeup hair etc. Good powerful hairdresser. My own fault for not reading what's included in the room.... No kettle tea/coffee facilities. I'm a give me coffee before you speak to me type of person, but my husband spoke to the lady on reception and she brought us a kettle and we went to the shop opposite and got coffee milk. Breakfast was fabulous plenty of choice both english and continental with lovely cake. Couldn't fault it. Staff were lovely Would definitely stay again and recommend .

Hotel Columbus is a fab hotel. It is friendly clean and well positioned. All at a reasonable price. We stayed in a room for three and it was plenty big enough. Admittedly the furniture is little old fashioned but perfectly functional. Check in was speedy and helpful. Once in the room one of our group realised they had left their phone charger at home so we asked at reception who kindly loaned us one for the duration of our stay. Checkin is nice and early @2 and checkout midday so was perfect for us. They also offered to book trips for us but as we had pre booked everything we didn’t need their assistance. Breakfast is plentiful and constantly replenished. The only additional expense is posh coffee. But as we aren’t fussy we drank the tea and coffee provided. The rooms were spotless and daily bottles of water a great added extra. The location is near the Jewish quarter and 20 minutes walk to the main attractions. There are loads of bars and restaurants near by. We will definitely stay here on our next visit. Thank you Hotel Columbus.

Nice hotel, we got a pretty spacious room with a balcony. The room was fitted with wooden furniture, all of which was polished so it looked quite classy. The floor is carpeted and the bed was quite comfortable as well. Very quiet around the room, so we had a comfortable stay. Breakfast was the usual continental fare with bread, scrambled eggs,yoghurt,fruits, sausages etc.

We'd have liked a tea/coffee maker in the room, the only thing I felt was really missing in the hotel. In the cold November weather, a cup of tea on arrival in the room would've done wonders for some tired nerves.

This great hotel is located in the heart of Kazimierz, a minute away from Szeroka Street and the Plac Nowy. There is a tramway stop right in front of the hotel on Starowiślna Street, which goes straight to the Rynek Główny, the main Train Station, and all other points in the center and beyond. The staff was very friendly and accommodating (I arrived late at 1:00 am). The breakfast was delicious. On the day of my departure, I had to leave on an early morning flight, and the staff prepared breakfast for me at 4:00 am. Super convenient location with most destinations in the center with a 5 to 25-minute walk.

The location is perfect. Tram stops right outside the door. The garden area is fabulous to be able to have an outdoor area to relax in after a day out sightseeing rather than having to go to the room. The staff were so accomodating with all trip bookings and any questions we had they were able to help. Breakfast was very good, something for everyone. Excellent value for money. Can highly recommend.

The shower hose does not stay up. I had to put a band aid plaster under it to hold it in position. This was not picked up by the housekeeping team during my stay to be repaired.

Location of hotel was excellent. We flew from Vienna and took a short train ride to Krakow and then it was a short 5 min walk to the hotel. There are several great restaurants nearby as well as a few small grocery stores. In addition it’s a relatively easy walk to the Main Market Square. Also we really appreciated the full buffet breakfast. We traveled with family and had two separate rooms on the 3rd floor and found them both comfortable Would definitely recommend Hotel Columbus! Excellent value.

I can’t really say. Perhaps if there was a bar area or fresh chilled water in the reception area but they gave us waters in each of our rooms.

Staff were so nice. Decoration wonderful, old-fashioned. Great air-conditioning. Fresh bottles of water every day. Well-located. So clean ! I left a book I had bought in Krakow in my room, and the staff was so honest : when I came back to get my suitcase, they had the book at reception & asked if I wanted it (I said no, it was a present to them)

Breakfast was just adequate. Sometimes the air conditioning was too strong, I couldn't control it. Only TV channels in English & French were news channels.

The room was extremely comfortable and warm - great to come back to when it's freezing outside. The room had everything we needed with the exception of a kettle which the hotel staff were extremely quick to provide. The breakfast buffet was good with a lot of choice. The location of the hotel is excellent and we were able to walk everywhere in central Krakow.

Our only comment was that the room didn't have a kettle and there was nowhere in the hotel to get a hot drink once breakfast has finished. That said, the hotel staff were great and brought us a kettle to our room which we had for the duration of our stay.

A decent 3-star hotel that could meet my and my friend's expectations. I have stayed in much worse allegedly 4-star hotels. :) The hotel's location is excellent: It's pretty central and it's on one of the thoroughfares of Kraków. It's easy to reach the hotel from the train station Kraków Grzegórzki as well. There is a tram/bus stop near the hotel through which some tram and bus lines that go to Kraków's main train station and some landmarks of the city pass. Old Town including the Market Square and Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory are just 15-20 minutes walking distance away. There are many shops and good restaurants around the hotel. The staff were polite. Our room's window view and size were good. The beds were comfortable. The room and the bathroom were clean. The radiator could heat the room well enough during the night. The housekeeper paid attention to making up the room every day. The breakfast service was satisfactory.

It would have been good if slippers had been provided in the room and if shampoo and shower gel had been provided in tubes. The hotel's wireless Internet connection was very slow, and even the 4G mobile connection of my phone was very poor in the room.

The staff were very helpful. They booked our excursions, giving us options. Rooms were spacious and the bed very comfortable. Bottled water was provided in the room. Great location. Breakfast was good . Bathroom, clean and modern.

It's not a big negative , but a kettle would be a good addition to the room (we used the café across the road ). A comfortable chair would be nice . You can hear the trams, but it did not impact our stay or sleep. You're in a city so expected . For the price the hotel was brilliant and I would certainly stay again.
