The Hotel is good clean, everything was perfect but I was trying to booking for 9th of September and it was calendar mistake booked for 9 th October, and in 5 minute after booking I call to the Hotel to asked what to do they suggested that cancel and book for 9 th September no worries and when I come to Hotels I pay for September and already took money for oct what I cancel 5 minute after the booking and staff say they can’t do anything Booking.com is the responsibility, I’m sad because I could talk about that before cancel if they not suggest me for cancel and book again hope I will get money back if not money goes by my card 2 time for one night 😒☹️☹️☹️☹️

I don’t like that they have campaign with Booking.com and they not solve the problem I have business also if have any problem for my clients I talk with the company whom I have campaign

nice little hotel, close to the train station and city centre. enough for a couple of nights. it was clean, comfortable and quiet. staff were super nice and helpful and lovely to speak to. breakfast was fairly good. eggs were not nice and well over cooked but there was enough of other options available and we had a good choice from cereal to bread and cheeses, meets and veg. plus sweet stuff and fresh fruit. a selection of juices plus coffee and tea. the hotel also had soya milk for me but best to check with them as not sure this is a standard option. overall we had a pretty good stay and would recommend it :)

the shower has a flimsy curtain and despite us trying our best to be careful unfortunately water goes everywhere and you end up with a puddle of water on the bathroom floor :(

The location was great - easy walk to the busy area of town. The staff were helpful- booked a taxi for us - expect to pay around €19. There is a bus that goes from bus station- number 16 - which will probably only take about 20 minutes and is around €3 euros but doesn’t start running until 5am. Didn’t eat breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment. Would say there are many many cheap cafes and restaurants within easy walking distances (including the food market- stall upstairs, supermarket downstairs, and cafes all around the outside) All the Portuguese people we spoke to were extremely helpful and had very good English. The rooms are simple and have air conditioning and kettle and fridge (although it didn’t keep things very cold tbh). We did a boat ride - they are very easy to book on the front- many people touting for your custom just need to choose the right one for you. We also went on the little train around the city. you can use it to hop on :off during the day. it was only £6 euros but was expecting commentary about the city and there was nothing - also it’s incredibly bumpy. We took a number 16 bus to the beach (via the airport) you can do a lovely walk up amongst the Ria Formosa and see many birds including flamingos and also walk across to the beach - buses are regular but big gap to the next one so make sure you are at the stop in plenty of time!

The bathroom was big but an odd shape. unfortunately on the second day there I slipped in the shower trying to get out and injured myself quite badly. I mentioned it to reception - please be careful

Wasn't expecting much from the hotel or Faro as we booked it due to its location before our early morning flight out of Portugal but Faro is well worth a visit. Staff were very nice to deal with. Receptionist gave us alot of information about the rea. Hotel is in a great location where one can wander into the town and marina. The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Had tea and coffee facilities and a bottle of water. We didn't have breakfast so cannot comment.

The reception area is old fashioned but that did not matter to us as we had such a sort stay. The bedrooms are more modern however.

One night stay, flew into Faro for a family holiday at a villa further out on the Algarve. We arranged for one day/night in Faro before our transfer the following day. This hotel was ideal for that purpose. Location good for walking into the main square and town centre, but far away enough for it to be very quiet around. Room large and comfortable. Breakfast was okay, filled a hole and easier than heading out to find something to eat.

Overall the room was suitable for our purposes. If you were looking to stay longer in Faro, or closer to the attractions, or have a higher budget, perhaps consider a variety of options.

very pleased we were placed at the end of a corridor, which helps lessen unavoidable noise from other residents. bed & pillows extremely comfy, great view (not expecting to see the sea, however distant!). Lovely helpful staff. Clean and well kept. great to have kettle & drinks. Fab to be able to fully open window to get in fresh air. Plenty of towels, nice shower gel

we didn't get a bath - booking.com showed rooms with baths, which was specifically why I booked. It's a deal breaker for us! We arrived late, exhausted, in a rush to go straight out to eat before everything closed, so didn't ask to change rooms - especially as we were at the end of a corridor which we wanted, and the extra pillows requested were in the room. The location was a bit further out than we had envisaged - we wouldn't usually put ourselves in the position of so much extra walking on top of the usual 'trip away' daily walking. Glad we took 5 of our own hangars- never stayed anywhere that provides enough!

The hotel is very nice, staff at reception is very friendly and helpful. Rooms have been being renovated during last years I've already stayed there 3 or 4 times (once or twice a year), and that is why I keep sing this hotel when I need to stay in Faro. Rooms at the 4th and 5th floor towards South (back of the hotel), have a very nice view of the city center (even we can see some apartment buildings and old houses), the Ria Formosa with its canals, boats (and even 3rd floor still has nice view, but not so large as upper floors .

Nothing.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We were given a map with directions and good recommendations on what to see in the town and where to find very good restaurants with local specialties. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of food. The marina, the old town, the shopping streets and many places to eat and drink were in a short walking distance.

If you arrive by car, parking at the hotel might be a problem. The hotel has a few parking spots in the back. Fortunately, we were allowed to leave our car in the loading zone overnight because when we arrived the parking spots were all taken.

Arrived earlier than check in time but we were permitted access. Lady on reception was welcoming and extremely helpful. Parking is limited at rear of hotel but was able to find a vacant space. Some would consider the location as too far away from the centre but we like it, a flat walk to Faro centre is 15 minutes max and you can stop at the Mercado Municipal en route to take in a coffee and pastel de nata or similar from one of the many cafes out front. A large Supermarket housed within. Rooms are well laid out and bathrooms are spacious. A wonderful restaurant almost opposite the hotel too, 'Gimbras', which serves lunches and evening meals.

Not a lot to dislike and finding something would be picky. We visited in February and the price (excluding breakfast) was excellent value. Previously visited in October which was more expensive as it's still almost peak season in the Algarve.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Location of the hotel is a very short walk to the old town centre. The room was very clean and well prepared for our arrival and the bathroom was relatively large fitted with a full bath. The hotel is also a very short cheap taxi ride away from the airport which makes it a perfect location to travel to.

We booked a room with a double bed however only two single beds were available which meant we had to put the two together and the gap between the beds made it slightly awkward.
