The location was great, it's in the heart of Old Lisbon city. The design interior is beautiful, it's like an museum. The staff was polite and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

The breakfast was ok, but it was almost the same each day. During check-in they asked our card details, including CVV and expiration date, for security reasons they said - in case we broke or use something from the mini-bar; which is illegal I must say, you cannot ask such details. I recommended them to change the policy to ask for 50 EUR cash during check-in and return them during check-out, hope they will implement it. I bit pricey.

This is a historic building in a historic neighborhood. The location is perfect right in the heart of old Lisbon. The staff are very friendly and extremely accommodating. They will take the time to make sure your stay is as pleasant as possible. You are greeted with a friendly smile and an offer of some wine while you are checked in or flavored water. The rooms are clean and tidy. Very nicely decorated. You will love the atmosphere in this Place. In the room there is a mini bar and for the first time you won't mind using it because the prices are reasonable. There is also an espresso machine and an assortment of teas. Also you have 2 free water bottles every day , I mean seriously that was a nice touch. We had 2 year old with us. When we arrived at the breakfast area. A table with a kids chair was already setup. This is the type of touches you can expect. Breakfast is extremely important fto me. And here the Hotel does not disappoint. You will find eggs, bacon, croissant, assortment of breads, pastries, Vegetables, cheeses, cold cuts, guacamole, yogurt, fruits , freshly squeezed orange juice and the juice of the day. They also have coffee and milk. But will also ask if you would like a cappuccino or a latte. Overall I would highly recommend this place for their service , location and atmosphere.

We had a wonderful stay! The hotel is centrally located and within walking distance to many of the sights. The metro station is also within a 3 min walk. The room was beautiful and huge! The decor was a mix of modern and classic art. The bathroom was also spacious. We had 2 balconies overlooking the street. There were sweets and a bottle of water in our room upon our arrival. We were also provided a bottle of water in our room each day. A breakfast buffet was provided every day and included a variety of items including eggs, bacon, breads, cheeses, fruits and made to order coffee. We were greeted by Nadia upon our arrival. who made made us feel very welcome. She went above and beyond during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. The entire staff was really friendly and took very good care of us during our stay. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Lisbon!

Nothing. This place is great!

The location was central to everything we needed. It's a smaller hotel with character. Huge room, quality linens, great bathroom. The staff were wonderful. Very professional, friendly and accommodating. They had a lovely welcome gift waiting for us in our room. Breakfast was a treat with a wide range of well presented, tasty items on the buffet. Our thanks to everyone who made our stay so enjoyble

No elevator, but not a problem for us as we were on the first floor and had help with our luggage.

The hotel only has 9 bedrooms and only serves breakfast so it felt quite personal, a bit like having your own place in the city without having to make beds or shop for breakfast - so it was perfect for us as we were travelling as a couple. If you are travelling with friends note, It has limited social space as it only has a large welcoming entrance area with a small seating area and a cosy breakfast room serving breakfast between 8 and 10am, but with so many excellent bars and restaurants you probably won't spend much time in your hotel. It is very centrally located with the Biaxo-Chiado Metro station only a few minutes walk away, for connection to the airport and the rest of the network across Lisbon. The Tram network is accessible close by too. Our room was large, with a fantastic super king bed, seating area, separate dressing room and large bathroom with good shower. Breakfast was lovely and constantly replenished. My husband enjoyed bacon and eggs whereas I enjoyed the continental with a good selection of breads, meats, fruits and cheese. The staff were all courteous and helpful. II would absolutely recommend this boutique hotel.

This didn't bother us but is worth noting…our room was next to the kitchen so we could hear the staff preparing breakfast. We could also hear people moving to and from the breakfast room. So if you are a light sleeper or not fussed for breakfast you might prefer a room away from the breakfasting room. However as there was no other food service the hotel was very quiet at all other times of the day. If you are looking for a picture perfect balcony our room didn't have it! Our windows and balcony were to the back of the hotel overlooking the service areas and aircon units but October is not for sitting on the balcony - so no complaints from us.

I had the most wonderful stay at your hotel in the heart of Lisbon! The exceptional staff's sensitivity and attentiveness made me feel truly valued throughout my stay. The delicious and varied breakfast options were a delightful way to start each day. Not to mention, the impeccable cleanliness and tidiness of the accommodations added to the overall sense of comfort. Thank you for creating such a remarkable experience—I can't wait to return!

We booked three rooms for three generations of family visiting Lisbon. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious. The staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. They were all warm and personable and gave us lots of special attention and advice. They even made phone calls for us to help arrange our onward travels. The area around Bordalo House is lovely, with lots of cafes and restaurants.

Music from a neighboring restaurant is audible in room 3 until about 11:00 at night.

The room was very big and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The air conditioner worked great and silently. I loved having the Nespresso coffee machine to make our own espresso coffee every morning and afternoon! The breakfast was very good, it included a variety of breads, and a toaster for you to toast them, and a spread of cold cuts, cheeses, Fruits, cereals, juice, milk fresh coffee and I liked that you can order a simple omelette, (they didn’t have onions and peppers or bacon for the omelette but I was able to have them add ham and cheese to mine) or you can also gets eggs any style. The staff are very friendly and most of them speak English.

This is a small boutique hotel with only 9 rooms and there is no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up to the second floor. We were glad the staff help carry the luggage up! Also the water pump for the bathroom is very loud when you’re using the water to shower or the sink or toilet.

Everything about this stay was excellent. our flight from the US was canceled, and then our second flight was delayed and they were totally accommodating. We were greeted with a glass of port wine, and every member of the staff was completely gracious and available for our every need. The breakfast was among the very best we have ever experienced in our European travels. Great variety and quality on every count. if we return to Lisbon anytime soon, we will undoubtedly stay here again.

The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to assist us with recovering a suitcase lost by Air France and booking train tickets to Lagos.

Nothing of much importance. The small desk was not quite large enough to set up my laptop computer workspace, USB ports somewhere would be nice for charging phones, and we had a little difficulty figuring out how to change the temperature in the room with the thermostat.
