I stayed in a double room with square view and it was excellent. Generous in size, beautiful view of the square right at your doorstep. Bed and all four pillows were comfortable. A wardrobe for hanging clothes and a desk. The bathroom was clean and very large, with body wash/shampoo/conditioner. Breakfast was great, everything you could need. Scrambled/boiled eggs, toast/breads, pastries (croissants etc.) as well as veggies, salads, cheese/deli meats, and fruit. Coffee and tea too. Reception is generous with providing as much bottled water as you need, so be sure to ask anytime you come in and out of the hotel. Staff are friendly. Very handy having a lift for when moving luggage during check-in and check-out. Heaps of fresh towels provided as needed. Best part about this hotel is the brilliant location! Right outside Largo do Chiado, a bustling square where many walking tours begin and a tram stop for the 28 Tram. Incredible restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc. are steps away. Shopping as well. I could easily have stayed here another week! Highly recommend.
I really can't think of anything significant! Sound proofing from the square (if you are facing it) is excellent, but you may still hear the occasional noise on Friday and Saturday nights (everyone goes to Bairro Alto to party). Some stomping from the floor above but could depend on the guest. And lastly, the bathroom smells a little funny at times, but never really bothered me.

very good location, closer metro station about 5/10 minutes walk. Trams are on the doorstep. Hotel is very nicely decorated very grand. It was more apartment style hotel didn't have a big lounge area but adequate. Breakfast was amazing, cooked food and fresh fruits, I have to say it was not the average continental breakfast you get in many other hotels. Bed was comfortable and with a balcony view.
Unfortunately the attach bathroom was very small for a standard double bedroom and was bit disappointing as we were staying there for 3 nights, the sink was a tiny wholeway sink. They should have mentioned that in the room description. They should have mentioned the room type at least small double bedroom. Also the location of this area has music and a buzz till late night so it is not very quiet at night to sleep. If you like the going out at night it is very good, but if you want quite night sleep not the best areas. For us it didn't matter.

I stayed in 3 different rooms and all were nice in different ways. The twin room was spacey but with no view. The room with the balcony and the square view was with a beautiful view but a bit noisy - which I didn't mind that much. And the room with the river view was with the best view, quiet, but with a smaller bathroom. In any case, the bathroom was good in all of the rooms I stayed.. The breakfast had a lot of variety- only the taste of coffee can be improved. Location is excellent- reception works very well, very friendly staff- Thank you!

In a super interesting neighborhood with great cafes and shops and walkable to so much of the historic parts of Lisbon . The hotel is just beautiful. Staff were excellent. Breakfast is very good and generous. Bathrooms in rooms are very modern. I would recommend this place to any of my friends.

The hotel is on the square Praca Camoes, a wonderful spot to start a vacation. The absolutely lovely staff are very helpful and fun to talk to at their little bar. Breakfast is plentiful and accompanied by piano music. I found it delightful. They also have a sister hotel across the square where they can schedule a massage in the Roman Bath Spa for you. The location is a fun people-watching spot, and the tram stops right in front.
If you are tall, be sure to ask that you do not book on the top floors. They have attic-type ceilings that my 6ft. husband found problematic. They switched our room when we asked.

The first thing we faced arriving in the morning was live piano being played during breakfast which was a very nice touch. The location couldnt be better, central to everything and close to activities and parties at night but with closed windows you won't hear a thing, I think the windows have extra layers of glass. Overall the building is very authentic much like character of old Lisbon, staff was lovely and the plaza nearby is very nice, with live music in the evening and chairs to have a coffee, beer or wine. We started our trip there and we ended it there
Nothing really

It is a newly furnished hotel with beautiful mixed-style decorations. The breakfast area is spacious and faces a busy plaza. The huge window balconies invite us to watch people coming and going while enjoying a wide variety of food. Our room is very clean. In the room where we stayed, the vent doesn't blow cold air directly onto the bed, which is a big plus. Despite the room window facing the busy street, the newly installed window casements keep the street noise away. The friendly staff is incredibly helpful.
I wish the elevator was a bit larger, but being on the second floor, it's not a problem for us. I'm not sure how other travelers manage, especially with large suitcases. Despite that, I highly recommend this hotel because of its perfect location, comfortable rooms, friendly staff, and wide variety of breakfast choices.

Reception was as welcoming as any we've had, really friendly and informative. The neighbourhood of the hotel turned out to be ideal for any imaginable tourist activity - right next to a plaza, superb baker/cafe next door, view of the Tagus from the window, brief walk to local shops and dives, tram and metro connections, historic cathedrals... pretty amazing, in fact, an adjective not often used.
Chosen room was a bit petite, not really able to spread out - though not actually difficult to survive in. Inevitably slow, small and rather claustrophobic elevator. Avoid thinking (too late?) about the possibility of getting stuck inside. Stairs work well in both directions. Breakfast piano music quality highly player dependent.

Great location! Within walking distance to many tourist sites. I had a room with a view of the historic square. The room was gorgeous and good-sized for a European hotel. Wonderful and very helpful staff (thank you all and in particular for offering to carry my luggage downstairs even without being asked!) A very delicious breakfast with lots of options (tons of fresh fruits and yummy pastries!) served in a large room with a view of the square and with live piano music! The taxi transportation from and to the airport was worth the money (roughly $38) Bruno, a kind and knowledgeable gentleman, explained the history of Lisbon and was helpful! His brother, who took me back to the airport was as kind and as helpful, carrying my bags to the departure terminal and showing me where I had to go! I will go back again and again to this hotel.
More information about tours and having tourist offices in the touristy area (not a fault of the hotel but the tourism office!)

The location of the hotel was within 15 minutes walk of the water, and within 10 minutes walk of a large shopping mall. There were several nice restaurants within walking distance, including an outstanding steak house just next door. The hotel is managed in partnership with another large hotel across the street, which allowed us to use their gym to work out. The rooms were nicely renovated and beautifully tiled in the bathroom. The beds were comfortable and everything was very clean. The room was air conditioned and the breakfast was one of the best breakfast buffets I have had in Europe. My son and I enjoyed it immensely!
The bedroom was a little bit small, but that is to be expected in old European buildings. It was however immaculately cleaned and freshly renovated. The elevator only holds two people at a time. This can't be helped, and is not really a problem.
