Excellent location only a few minutes from Rossio train station and walking distance from most things in Lisbon we wanted to see. Exceeded expectations as so quiet for the location, (although we were a few floors up so that might have helped, but they said when I asked why it was so quiet that it was sound proofed); clean, large comfortable beds, fresh towels daily if needed, 24 hour desk; friendly helpful reception, organised our taxi to airport; felt very safe coming and going from here as busy street with a supermarket entrance next to hotel. Lift to our room; Good wifi. This property is better than it looked in the photos and we will definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was great, however, when I was here last year, the buffet was outside of the little serving room which was better. breakfast can be busy and lots of guests are going into the buffet area which is tiny and can get cramped and all guests are on top of each other getting coffee, juice, toast, cereal, hot breakfast etc

The location was just perfect - just next to Rossio train station where you could take the train to Sintra. The main square and metro stations were 2min away, and all the popular sightseeings were a short walk away. There was a supermarket with a bakery just next door where you could buy fresh orange juice, coffee, pastries and more. There were many restaurants and cafes nearby, as well as souvenir shops and clothing stores. The location couldn't have been better! The rooms were fine - just perfect for a short stay, and neatly cleaned every day.

The room was supposed to have a bath tub, but there was no bath tub when we checked in. We were offered to move to another room with a bathtub the next afternoon, but we simply didn't have the time as we wanted to spend the day exploring the city. The hotel should explicitly inform the guests beforehand that they don't have many rooms with bathtubs. I was disappointed by the unavailability, as I was so much looking forward to have a bath every night. There was a bit of mold in the corners of the shower and sink, but overall everything was cleaned neatly every day.

Location was excellent. The beggars outside the front door could be a bit irritating. Only a very minor issue.

The location is superb! in the heart of the old city. Near public transportaion. The room was clean, very comfortable and quite spacious for the price. For some reason the telephone in the room was not connected... With the need to recharge devices we would have liked to have more sockets... But all in all excellent value for money. We did not take hotel breakfast so I cannot comment on that. There are many restaurants and coffee-shops nearby. I will definitely come back the next time I visit Lisbon.

There is no lobby, just a tiny waiting area at the entrance - but I guess that's ok for a 2* hotel . As I'd said - more electric sockets (there is not even one near the desk) would make the room perfect.

The location is excellent. We arrived by metro from the airport and it was a short walk across two plazas to reach the hotel. It is convenient to EVERYTHING. If you are going to Sintra, the train station was less than a 3 minute walk from the hotels front door. Just one street off of Rossio Square, we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. Several good restaurants very close to the hotel. The breakfast was very good offering warm selections as well as fruits and cereals. Eduardo, the daytime manager has been there for 42 years and is a wealth of knowledge.

The hotel is very well located within walking distance to the center. The room was renovated and was comfortable.

We stayed twice in the hotel in two different bedrooms for 3 people. The first room we got was comfortable and had a view to the Rossio train station. The second room was in the 3rd floor, with no view, and part of the ceiling close to the window was a bit lower than in the other parts of the room. My brother is tall and he bumped his head in the ceiling. Maybe if they rearrange the position of the beds in the room this could be avoided. Another point is that the walls in the room in the 3rd floor were a bit dirty. I noticed the carpets in the corridor were being renewed. Maybe they will do the same with the wallpaper in the bedrooms. Apart from that, our stay was really nice. Comfortable beds, good breakfast. A great cost-benefit to stay in the heart of Lisbon.

Loved the location of this hotel. Could not beat how close it was to everything. Surrounded by some of the best restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The building is beautiful when you take the time to appreciate the fixtures, the old staircase, the wooden floors and the photographs placed around the building. The beds were comfortable, the view was great and we had AC that worked very well. It was hot in Lisbon.

The bathroom was very small and tight. I am a big person i.e. FAT. It was a little hard for me to squeeze between the basin and the corner of the shower to get to the toilet. Also had to squeeze into the shower. My aunt, who is smaller than me, of average build, also had a hard time getting into the shower.
