The staff are absolutely lovely and so friendly.. they speak English well and try to accommodate all your requirements. they had a corkscrew and wine glasses when needed too! the breakfast is basic, no hot food but all fresh, ham, cheese, bread, rolls, pineapple, melon, cakes, yogurt, cereal and freshly squeezed orange juice, maracujá and red fruits juice, coffee and tea. The twin room had a bath and powerful hot shower, a bidet, big balcony with a side view of the sea and city, table and chairs. decor is dated and basic but you're gonna spend most of your time exploring the beautiful island! The hotel is kinda dated and smells like an old hotel but it's pleasant. they put up Xmas trees and decor in reception. so nice. Also there's access to a roof terrace with nice views of the sea, hills and city, which most hotels won't have location is great, close to everything in the centre, just 5-10mins walk

Location is great! 5 min to the city centre. There is a bakery / pastry shop right next to it and it is open all night (we managed to get some food at 6 AM before going to the airport). The staff is super nice and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious and many options, with cakes that would vary daily. The parking was a great perk considering that outside is all paid.

In general was all great, just seems that there is no options for handicap people (there is an elevator but to get there you need to take stairs) but better to ask before going. The facilities are a bit old but nothing that would stop me to stay there again.

The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, very close to the old town and the seaside promenade, has its own parking. Breakfasts are the same every day, but everything is there - bread, cheese, ham, granola, yogurt, dessert and fruits, coffee and juices. The staff is very friendly and ready to help in any questions - we had an early departure, they helped us order a taxi to the airport and gave us breakfast to go.

The room is quite old, especially the bathroom, but everything is very clean and tidy, so it wasn't a big negative for us

The stuff is super mega friendly!) Delicious breakfast with awesone white cheese wirh topings amd fresh fruit...pineapples! The view on the parking square snd eastern part of PDL from the 3-rd floor is quite nice! The bathroom is nice, having a antisliding rug. AC works,the bed is quite comfy. The hairdryer was provided upon request as well as an umbrella!. Nice tea making facilities!

Couldn't not figure out how to use the safe. The lift is kinda slow and tends to work from 2-3 attempt.

Truly outstanding staff. They did everything they could to accommodate our family and specifically our 9 month old baby. The staff were the friendliest and most caring people we met on the island. Cannot say enough about them. Great breakfast as well!

It’s a busy street at night. Just bring a small sound machine. I’m a light sleeper, as is our infant, and we both slept fine.

My second time here & first choice for possible next time. Great location in a walking distance from city centre (marina & restaurants), shopping mall and cultural attractions - one museum and Jose Canto botanic garden are just around the corner, and so is e.g. self-service laundry. But the main bonus is the parking lot for hotel guests (for free), which turns the hotel into a hassle-free base for exploration of the whole island.

Sure, rooms are old and worn. But everything works and good prices compensate it well.

We loved this place! The best part about this hotel is the staff - all of them were kind, helpful and truly made this stay special. The breakfast is good and has a rich bread section. The location of the hotel is excellent to explore Ponta Delgada. Rooms are clean and cozy.

super clean and centrally located hotel. friendly and helpful staff. bed was comfy and bathroom was nice. can walk anywhere in Ponta Delgada from the hotel and the free parking is certainly an added plus. the rooms also have nice big desks for students or those who need to work

the hotel would really benefit from some basic soundproofing measures (carpet and some furniture in the halls, new doors). you can hear what goes on in the hallways a bit too well

Good hotel in the middle of the city, a bit outdated but very clean and the rooms are cleaned daily! Good breakfast and very friendly staff, good hotel for the money, and good location with free parking behind the hotel.

Actually nothing, maybe some eggs for breakfast

Breakfast was great with lots of variations from where to choose. AC worked great and location was spot on, middle of the city.

beds were a bit hard and bathroom was pretty old. Elevator also made weird noices so it was bit scary to use.
