Absolutely loved this hotel. In a great location only 2km out of the main area (€5 in a taxi), with a fantastic restaurant, a supermarket and a brilliant bakery nearby. The hotel itself was clean, quiet and comfortable. It only has 17 bedrooms, so it has a real boutique feel. The spa therapist was lovely and the massages were expert. Loved the pool area, a very relaxing space. Breakfast was generous and prompt, and the reception staff were kind and helpful. Bed was comfortable, showers were good, blackout blinds were a game changer.

Really hard to think of anything negative, so if we are nitpicking, a couple of things in the room click on and off in the night, so the whirring may disturb light sleepers. I think it may have been the fridge, or possibly the aircon or an extractor fan. But this is super minor, and only noticeable as there are literally no other sounds from the road or the hotel in the night.

Outstanding service! From the front desk people to the breakfast servers everyone went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Can’t say enough great things about the staff! Location was quiet in a residential area one block from a grocery store. Was a bit removed from city center but can take metro or taxi. After a day of being with hordes of people we really appreciated the calm and quiet of this hotel. Was lovely to have after noon snacks always available when we returned.

The deodorizing “ signature” diffusers were very strong and overwhelming in lobby and hallway for someone like me ehi has allergies and us sensitive to odors.

An incredible stay at BFRESH. Staff were so friendly, hotel was the cleanest hotel I've ever seen, pool area was lovely, service was excellent. Me and my partner are vegan and paid for the breakfast and the staff did an amazing job at making sure we had enough option. There was bread, vegan butter, vegan yoghurt, fresh fruit, jams and spreads, smoothies, avocado on toast, vegan cheese and two dairy free milk options! Really impressed with the effort they put in once they found out we were vegan and want to say thank you! I would advise letting the hotel know in advance if you're vegan so they can prepare! The hotel is a little further away from the centre but if you don't mind walking then it's fine. You could also get the metro if you'd prefer. Took about 35 minutes to get to the centre by walking (majority downhill)

The only thing I could comment on is that the rooms are not soundproof. We could hear the next door neighbours having an argument one night and music from another room one evening (but they turned it off early)

As someone who spends their life travelling and staying at hotels I can honestly say this hotel rates as one of the best. The staff are exceptionally friendly, the rooms well equipped with working air con and a decent hairdryer and iron! There are fantastic self service laundry facilities and a fraction of the cost of anywhere else I've stayed. The pool is small but perfectly adequate with very comfortable sunloungers and the gym facilities are the best I've ever used at a hotel. Fantastic lounge area and chill out seating outside. A bit of a walk to the centre of town but a small sacrifice for the quality

We were staying for 10 days so we didn't want to be too much in the city center as we were also there for a relaxing trip. We didn't mind walking to the center in the mornings or where we were going that day but we often took an Uber back to the hotel in the evenings after a long day of walking. The breakfast was excellent, they have a buffet as well as taking your order for eggs, bacon, pancakes etc. Its a small hotel so the staff can tend to their guests very well. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room itself was very clean and spacious, there was so much storage space. Loved it!

I liked everything but if I were only staying in Porto for a couple days I would probably pick an accommodation a little closer to the center just for convenience.

The accommodation and the complex as a whole was spotless. The rooms were fully equipped with a small kitchen with every utensil. We had the use of towels for the pool(outdoor), robe and slippers for spa. There were lovely decking areas to relax in. The breakfast was lovely and plenty of choice. There was also a fully equipped gym. The staff were also lovely.

There was no bar facility though you could buy locally and have a drink on your balcony. The hotel is a distance from the main tourist area but the taxis were cheap. There was often no-one on reception which didn't really affect us but something we noticed-anyone that was there were very helpful. It was not like your conventional hotel.

Everyone was very friendly and exceptionally helpful. The facilities were second to none. Someone had very carefully thought through what would make a hotel feel like a home from home and endeavoured to ensure this offer was available to guests. There was obvious attention the final detail from robes and slippers in the rooms to coffee machines and fridges and quality fixtures and fittings. There were snacks and drinks available all afternoon and evening and everything was delicious. The pool and the grounds were very well maintained and were dotted with beautiful flowers and plants. The reception staff recommended an excellent local restaurant which was very good value for money. There is also an amazing patisserie just around the corner. We will be recommending this hotel to whoever is visiting Porto and is looking for a hotel to tick all boxes.

It's a unique hotel/experience overall I'd say and I enjoyed my stay there. Staff really friendly. New hotel, room is cosy and clean with TV, radio/speaker, fridge and complimentary water and coffee inside. Pool is small / intimate, well equipped, new gym area (24hr access to the gym, Matrix kit), paddle court and yoga, I didn't take advantage of but they look fun. Complimentary snacks available in the lounge area which is a nice touch from the hotel and sets it apart, there's a €1 nespresso coffee machine available to use 24/7 too. Breakfast was good to get you fuelled for the day. Its north of the centre of Porto with a more local feel - close to enough to a convenience store, supermarket, few restaurants and easy to get public transport 10min walk from the metro and coach / bus stations.

I was very satisfied with my stay here. There's nothing I would change however, Maybe if there was more variety at breakfast or ability to buy dinner this would improve the experience.

Best hotel I've stayed in by far. Staff were so lovely especially Rosa at reception. Hotel is so clean, with ultra modern rooms. Having food and tea, coffee available all day free of charge for guests is a new one on me. Hotel is hidden from the street, but once you walk in, this jewel is there to be soon. Will be back. It's 2.5k from the City centre, but that's not a problem. We used bus 602, which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel, and a 10 minute ride into the city centre. It costs €2.50 per trip per person. The bus stop by the hotel is called Carvalhido, and you get off in the city at the last stop called Cordoaria(next to Clerigos Tower)Its the same journey in reverse back to the hotel. The hotel pool area is lovely and I've nothing negative to say about our stay

The hotel is small and cosy, it is very quiet. Everything is new, clean and beautiful. The interiors are designed in a modern way, everything is matching. The staff was amazing. Rosa was very kind and helpful - she showed us around, she helped us with questions, when we had someone in the room next door who was snoring very loud - she offered to change the room for us. Really, I can fully recommend the hotel, it is beautiful and it definitely exceeded my expectations! Rosa, thank you :) The hotel offers a swimming pool, gym which is very well-equipped, snacks available all day and massages and facial treatments. The lady who did a message to us was so kind and so nice! Amazing place.

the only disadvantage was that our room had a very thin wall and we had a neighbour who was snoring super loud. Unfortunately, we heard everything. But other than that - all great.
