There was a very homely and warm atmosphere. The location is wonderful - close to the sea. The possibility to make coffee and tea in the room was wonderful. And the water flow in the shower was wonderful

The room is very small for a couple. Unfortunately we had nothing to eat for breakfast. I would recommend offering an option in advance notice to those who do not eat gluten or dairy products or sugar and have additional options. And even in the morning we had to eat in an intimate space quietly with ourselves and there was no such possibility only in the kitchen with all the guests, which created a little discomfort.

Sandra and Valter are wonderful hosts. Valter sat with us both nights we were there and explained where to go and how to get there. Parking is right outside the door, which was so nice. Bed was comfy. Breakfast had a nice selection of breads and fresh fruit. And there was yogurt. I didn't mind that there was no meat, but if you like meat for breakfast, you'll have to go elsewhere. I would happily stay here again.

The only 2 things that I would not give a 10 to is the room was stuffy ( but I just slept with the window open), and the pillows were quite hard for my taste. But those are small things.

Sandra, the owner, made us feel really welcome and gave us lots of advice on what to visit, free car parking, places to eat etc.... all in a 10 minute chat. This advice saved us lots of time and greatly improved our stay. A homely stay that respected our privacy...I recommend. Thank you Sandra! Hope to get back there soon!

Should have stayed longer!

Well situated and totally bike friendly! Our hosts took excellent care of us and we were able to hose down our bike before putting it securely undercover. A lovely room clean and warm with a well equipped bathroom. We were recommended an excellent local restaurant and we were not disappointed.

The breakfast was generous but a little too sweet for us.

Wow!!! One of the best places you can stay in the area.. very friendly host, they really checked to make sure we had everything... Great breakfast... spacious room highly recommended!!!

Nice and quiet location with a great view towards the Pena Palace out the front of the house. Looks great when lit up in the evening. Hosts were very friendly - I hope Valter gets his dream motorcycle! ;) There was secure parking available for motorcycle in the properties gated driveway- Take care as the gradient and surface can be slippy.

Very clean and cozy. The facilities like coffee machine, office table, fridge, free water, and even cinnamon biscuit are enough to make this one of the best experiences that I had in fair price accommodation.

Wifi went down sometimes but nothing more than seconds. Bed could be bigger.

Absolutely wonderful, friendly, helpful and knowledgable host Sandra; super interesting place (house) with many curiosities in every space, very closely located by car to must-sees in Sintra, lovely breakfast and all very clean and sustainable. Wish we could stayed longer!

Very beautiful place, amazingly arranged and with nice view. The room was everything you could wish for, very comfortable, clean, it had a coffee maker, clothes ironer, hair dryer, and also some cookies. The bathroom was big, very clean. The host, Sandra, was super friendly and provided us with useful information about what to do and how to move around in Sintra. The breakfast was tasty, diversified and enough to feed a very hungry man like I me. Would definitely go back for a second time!
