Peaceful location few mins away from centre. The staff were all friendly and kind. Its a beautiful hostel with an outdoor area which gives it a unique and relaxed atmosphere. Nice living room. Very good breakfast, equipped and nice kitchen with outdoor sitting. Kept very clean. Comfy bed with socket and lamp. Hot shower. Nice view from the windows. I met some really nice guests. I had a really good stay!

No curtain. No towel. The shower was very small. I had to stop for the water to stop dripping before I could dry myself. No space to move away from under the head shower. If you keep clothes inside, they would get wet. So I had to leave my underwear hanging out of the door, and this is a communal bathroom. The doors make a loud sound each time they are opened and closed. One can hear all the doors while in bed. Bunk beds are touching each other. The board separating the beds is only half. One could have someone's feet few cms from one s face.

Very nice place where to stay in Sintra, the staff was very helpful and friendly, everything very clean and very comfy, short walk to downtown and great breakfast with real coffee. I will stay there again.

The staff explained to us how to get it after midnight; We didn't pay attention and very early in the morning we could not get out and there was nobody around, probably the staff was busy. It wasn't a big deal because we only wanted to go for a sunrise walk... But it could be helpful to have a bell on the front desk or written instructions for distracted guest like us.

It was worth the value and the rooms were well kept and clean. Despite few negative reviews I read before, my stay was pleasant and I found all the staff were very helpful ( In interacted with 3 people in 2 days). The place was very clean even though it is a hostel...including shared toilets and I usually quite finicky about that. The heating in common areas was good and my room had an air conditioning that we could control ourselves. The breakfast was not exceptional but it was fine for the amount of tariff I paid so no complaints.

The shower was too small to even turn around or to find a place to hand clothes or change ...for a tiny person like me.

Location was close to town center and national palace. I stayed in a private double room, which did not have any noise issues as some other reviewers mentioned. The private bathroom was also in good working order, equipped with shampoo and shower gel. I received ample towels for one night, and I was not charged an extra fee for leaving my backpack with the front desk for a few hours prior to check-in. Breakfast was simple but had all the typical ingredients: yogurt, milk, juice, cereal, bread, ham, cheese, coffee machine, whole fruit. It was self serve and I felt like I could eat at a relaxed pace. A staff member came by to wash the dishes when the pile was running low.

Note the double room is two single beds pushed together. This was fine for me as a single traveler but expect a small crack if you're trying to snuggle with a partner! The bathroom fan and light are motion triggered and take awhile to turn off on their own. It's a bit loud when the fan is running.

Lovely and very cozy place. The location is magnificent - 50 meters from the town hall, extremely close to the historic part of Sintra. The staff are kind, helpful and create a lovely serene feeling. The rooms are spacious and clean. We had a wonderful view from the balcony. An exceptional experience at an incredibly low price. They offer great coffee and breakfast. Craft beer is something everyone should try. We would love to come back ❤️

The only thing I didn't like was that our stay was only two nights. This is a place I would like to stay at least a week, because it's worth it.

Beautiful location. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke great English (I don’t know any Portuguese so this was helpful). They were clean and offered to clean during our stay. The had complimentary amenities and breakfast which was palatable. The place was nice to look at.

Walls were thin. One bathroom was supposed to lock but I think someone took the key. The couples bed was just two twins pushed together which made so I couldn’t cuddle my partner without being in the crevice. But these are minor complaints for how overall lovely the experience was.

The staff is very friendly The location is optimal for getting to the railway station and to public transport. There are lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. The locks are digital (they provide you with a card) The room is spacious (and even feels empty) and has 3 windows. The air-conditioner helped as the night was not warm outside. there is a tiny private yard (or how to call a place with a table and two chairs) surrounded by 3-meter walls, looks more like a well but provides an opportunity to sit quietly in fresh air. The bathroom is big, the shower cabin is also big enough and doesn't leak. The hot water is great. The linen is good, towels are great (though one of them looked a bit washed-out). The TV worked. The wi-fi Internet connection was ok, the speed was good (though not enough for good video calls) The breakfast is served in a separate room. There are cereals, milk (as well as vegan milk), cheese, ham, butter, jam, bread, buns, croissants, a cake, some fruit, juice, coffee machine, tea, kettle. The best breakfast included in the price for a hostel I have ever had. Thank you a lot! I enjoyed staying here!

The beds are quite comfortable but the mattress was too soft for me and the sheet was always moving. There were some imperfections on the furniture but nothing critical. there is no wardrobe neither clothes hangers. But there is a drawer chest. The room is situated quite far from other rooms and the entrance into the floor, that's why it was quiet (in other rooms they might hear when somebody is entering as the soundproof is not ideal, but still good)

The location of the hostel is perfect as it allows you to quickly access the historical sites. The cleaning crews did a great job at keeping the rooms and bathrooms very clean throughout my stay. The included breakfast was delightful and had plenty of options. The wifi was good overall, but it did struggle at times in certain parts of the property. The kitchen area was well stocked with dishes and pots/pans.

My mattress was well worn in one spot, so I actually had to sleep in the opposite direction so as to not have to sleep in a depression. The showers in some of the bathrooms were very small and did not have any hangers, which made it difficult to find a place to hang your towel/clothes while showering.

Quiet is a must. It was very clean and you could see that every morning cleaners come and clean with special equipment the floor. The location was great, one breath from train station and center of the village. The breakfast is satisfactory with coffee machine available as many times you want. The price is unbeatable offering accomodation (in a room of four) and breakfast in just €25 average. In conclusion this hostel is like a hotel of 2 or 3 stars. The view from the window is nice. There is a small garden to sit.

4 times out of 5 the water had been cold. It is a pity such a very good hostel to have serious problem with hot water.

Absolutely beautiful, love the location as it’s only 4 minutes from the train station/bus stop and lots of food places. I had an amazing private room with a beautiful view which I would love to come to again.

The prices are a bit steep and could be more affordable. Putting the two beds together to make one bed can be uncomfortable to sleep on as you get stuck in the gap between the two and have to sleep on only one side. One of the bathrooms had the temperature control not working the entire stay nor was it fixed. It was the only private bathroom available and the other bathroom has two showers and two toilets. The showers did not have a lock on them so anyone can walk in on you while you shower and the only way to prevent this was to close the door to the whole place. Not good planning there and need locks on those doors
