the grounds were great, the staff were great, the hotel is well looked after. we had a great 5 night stay and would definitely come back.

the outside pool wasn’t heated so we couldn’t take the baby in for more than a few mins, before he started to shiver (we were advised it was heated). The indoor pool is for adults only, the reason we booked this hotel was to take the 4month old swimming each day, it’s not the end of the world. This was the main reason we booked the hotel as it had 2 pools, but we couldn’t use either 😂😂. The spa facilities were great, you also have to wear a swimming cap in the indoor pool, which defeats the object of a relaxing spa experience, in my opinion. Generally though the outdoor pool is amazing (mid summer not, early May) and the indoor spa is ace if you don’t have kids.

The breakfast buffet was delicious providing plenty of choice, we really enjoyed it every day. The hotel has a nice underground parking lot keeping the car safe & fresh. Room facilities & services were excellent, overall we really enjoyed staying at Boeira Garden also hosting some beautiful Tulipifera ;-)

Prepare for a steep walk when returning to the hotel, not always easy after some great Porto tastings ;-) We found the extra charge of 30€/day for a sun bed at the pool exaggerated for a 5-star hotel, as well as the 6€/bottle on the room, bring your own & cool it in the built-in fridge

The welcome, the grounds, the room, the staff, the food and the amenities were first class. We had the BEST time here coinciding with the Sao Joao festivities and enjoyed a brilliant rooftop dinner party. Great views of the city and we saw the fireworks display and floating lanterns in all their glory. The room was chic, large, classy and very well thought out. The bed was large and comfortable, the decor understated and elegantly designed. Special thanks must go out to Maria, one of the restaurant staff who made it possible for me to have very tasty meals, although my dietary requirements were as long as she is tall. Also to David, who despite us unwittingly gatecrashing the staff party, was hospitable, friendly and accommodating! To Ricardo, who increased our knowledge of and taste for port and finally to Sara who hosted the Sao Joao rooftop party skillfully, effortlessly and efficiently. Well done to you all! The reception staff were always happy to help, the environment was beautifully looked after and the amenities, pools, spa and public spaces were enjoyed with minimal effort, seamless care and maximum consideration. We had an exquisite time at the Boeira, a haven within a haven. We will be back!

Nothing - it was just perfect.

The staff was very welcoming. At check-in, they give you a taste of a divine port wine. It was a 10 minute walk from the train and a 4 minute walk to a bus stop that takes you straight into the heart of porto. The rooms were spacious, had ac and heat we could control, and a TV with many many channels in all languages. The facilities were gorgeous. The most clean, nice smelling hotel we had been to throughout our euro trip. The room had a true American king-size bed. The shower was spacious. The blow dryer for my hair left my hair smooth without burning or drying out my hair. The gym is beautiful, the pool is amazing and they offer massages, nail services, facials on site. Free underground garage parking on site. Free wifi. Rooms were energy saving. The hotel is in a quiet area next to a hospital and a police station. Bc the hotel is not in the heart of Porto, the prices are affordable for a Hilton hotel.

It's not in Porto. Have to take a 15 minute bus or 15 minute train into Porto. However, transit is easy, inexpensive and runs constantly. The pictures of the hotel are confusing on this site. The hotel is not the yellow house. The hotel is the dark gray concrete building.

We traveled with a dog and it was an amazing facility to walk with him in a small park next to hotel building. The room was nice. We liked the pool. Convenient parking. The location was quite ok to get to most touristic areas of Porto by taxi.

Overpriced food and really high pet charges. Not so much flexibility from the staff like for example about check in time etc. Ridiculous prices for double sun beds (the fancy ones) next to the pool while regular sun beds are free of charge.

The property was amazing! It was like a little green paradise to disconnect from everything around. The property is well-maintained with great amenities. It has a wine warehouse inside, fountains with ducks, a little tunnel made from creepers with fair lights! Me and my partner absolutely fell in love with this place. But for me, the SERVICE WAS EXCEPTIONAL. Mariana attended us and she was a gem of a person. She really helped make our trip memorable but providing us the most amazing suggestions. Taking 20 mins to mark all the places on the map and give us super personalised service. I would visit Porto again just to stay at the property! 10/10

it is set in lovely gardens in front of a fabulous villa. Setting is great. Brilliant facilities. Outdoor pool is wonderful.

eating and drinking at the hotel was more expensive than other hotels in better locations. Also the biggest shame is that the Villa which is so beautiful is apparently offices rather than accommodation/restaurant/bar for guests - this is a huge shame. even if part of it could be opened up for guests it would make the hotel more unique. The accommodation and amenities are all in a separate modern building which is nice but really like any other modern hotel across the globe. the uniqueness is the setting which in reality us just a backdrop.

You can't get a second chance on a first impression. That seems to be very clear to the two young gentlemen that handled the check in, took our luggage for storage and served us port wine. Same can be said about other staff we met during our stay. Not to detail the whole experience let's just say that choosing Boeira Garden to spend Easter was a decision we will never regret. No need to elaborate. The Porto warehouse next door, the staff there and the wonderful wine they serve is a really nice touch and mingling with the ducks and geese of the bird mansion is great fun.

There was a bit of a mix up regarding our breakfast choices but we booked breakfast on check in. The breakfast room staff billed us every morning. However - this misunderstanding was discovered before checking out. A slight hick up in an otherwise flawless experience.

Gaia is a few stations away from Central Porto, but it's quiet and perfect for a city escape. The facilities were amazing, and the hotel gives you a free port wine tasting on-site. The Internet was good and fast.

Staff didn't tell us about the city tax, and the hot tub was not working.
