Great location and the hotel has a nice pool and bar. The main building has beautiful rooms.

Do not book the “room designated at check-in”. If you are unlucky they will give you a room in a seperate building. These rooms are old and extremely noisey. To be honest, it is really misleading (because the pictures on Booking.com show other rooms) and also unacceptable that they still offer these rooms as a 5 star hotel. We reported this at the reception and luckily got another room in the main building after 2 nights.

It is a beautiful property! The décor and ambiance felt so warm. Absolutely loved the art work. The staff was super friendly and accommodating and our room was cleaned every day; fresh towels and linens were provided. The Minnow Bar was a hit for us as well and we loved happy hour and the complimentary wine hour!

There are parts of the rooms that could use a little bit more attention. The napkin holders have mold in them and there’s dirt near the outlets of the lamps. Also, when they’re cleaning in the mornings going in and out of rooms the doors slam which is loud. We had an end unit so we heard every single time the staff went out of that side/exit door which was quite often. It actually woke me up a few times.

-Attentive and helpful staff -Small details: water in the lobby and swimming pool, we asked for a coffee and they gave us a coffee machine, beach towels and umbrella... -All you need in a good hotel: bar, restaurant, balcony, etc

- Bathroom: it was weird to have a toilet without a seat cover (maybe a cultural difference...?) :) - Remember ordering a few drinks from the swimming pool bar menu but they didn't have them... (frozen cocktails and coconut water)

I was upgrade on my arrival and room assigned meet my expectations it did have the space that I was looking for, bed was super comfortable. I love room decor and have access to a good balcony although the view could be better.

it's nothing that can change but if South Beach get noise even room has a good noise isolation, I am sure you could have issues to sleep ( which is not my case and I went after Memorial day, which mean all the crowd it was gone.

The South Beach location could not have been better. A short 2 blocks to Ocean Blvd attractions and the beach. You could be in the middle of the action when you wanted to be, or in your quiet room, when not.

Valet Parking could have been less expensive...But it is South Beach. No worse than New York or L.A. Everything else was wonderful

Location of the hotel is great. Hotel facilities are beautiful, clean and modern. Good size of the room and had a small terrace to use. I love how pet-friendly Kimpton's hotels are and this is no exception. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly.

Hotel stay prices are good but other amenities, bar and restaurant prices are higher than those of similar hotels nearby. The food was ok, just not great.

it took over 1 hour and a couple of chasing calls to get my room service lunch. slow service and lack of internal communication

We loved the happy hour, location from beach, room was lovely. Honestly, after walking the entire area, our hotel was definitely the most beautiful. I also appreciated the luggage holding after check out so that we could have lunch before our flight without having to walk around the city with it!

We realize that it cannot be changed but the view from our balcony was not the greatest. Our first day communication with housekeeping was not the greatest. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Food is great, staff friendly. The hotel has a very nice vibe

All checks had tip included but always handed over with a blank tip space - we ended up tipping 40% on our many drink checks until we noticed. Also the resort fee is a little deceptive - there is no resort, no beach chairs etc you get beach hotels.we assumed there would be some arrangement with the beach kimpton for chairs/umbrellas but there wasn’t.

great location, really modern and well kept hotel. facilities, especially the rooftop pool was really great!

expensive pool bar drinks and food with no happy hour like the downstairs bar.
