Great value for money. The facilities are old, but well-maintained and relatively spacious. Prices are lower than other hotels in the area because it is heavily subsidized by the government (for mayors of local governments). If you can book a room here, you're lucky. :)

For tourism, the location might not be most convenient since it is located near the parliament and government offices. If you know Tokyo subway system well, you can still get around (the hotel is a few min walk from Nagata-cho Station on Hanzomon Line).

Nice, clean comfy bed and room. Very good quality of amenities (especially their cleanser and remover!) They also provide great customer service. I didn't realize that I selected a smoking floor and requested to change to a non-smoking at 8 PM (after trying to bear with it but cannot). The staff then swiftly moved me to the non-smoking floor without any extra charge.

The closest station exit doesn't have an elevator or escalator

Very nice and clean hotel. Breakfast was very good and plenty. Bed was comfortable.

You needed to know that there is Nagatachō station 5 min walk away and the escalator is at exit 8. Otherwise, you'll have to carry your luggage up and down 40 somewhat stairs manually. Additionally, Google maps only navigates to Akasaka-Mitsuke station which is 17 min uphill walk away from the hotel.

We love the location and the view of Tokyo skyline from our window specially during sun set. All staff are very helpful and would really try their best to speak in English. I would like to commend Wakaumi for helping us with the limousine bus to the airport. He was very patient and really took the time to google all the details for us.

Very small space for 3 people but i guess this is normal for any Japan hotels

Great location within walking distance to many train/subway lines and easy access to major tourist attractions (Shibuya/Shinjuku/Ginza/Ikebukuro...). Convenience store right opposite the hotel. Their larger twin room was a good size for up to 3-4 large luggages opened up (with a little squeeze). We got to see the Tokyo Sky Tree from afar in their West facing rooms.

Car park staff was a bit of a hit and miss and wasn't the most convenient.

Very comfortable and clean, nice bathroom facilities. 24-hour convenience store directly opposite. A few different Metro stations nearby in each direction as well as JR Ichigaya about 15 minute walk. 11am checkout was appreciated. I would stay here again. I read a lot of reviews that the rooms are small, but that's Tokyo!

The hotel delivers everything they promise! A few things to know that are not directly related to the hotel: Quite far from main subway station; Difficult to reach if one has mobility issues ( check time when ALL elevators close in the subway; About the hotel: The view is OK on the 14th floor and there is no access to “the view” in the upper floors; Breakfast service finishes at 9:30; it would have been nice as it looks really good; we found it far too early for people on holiday.

The room was comfortable, spacious (could fit two large suitcases), and provided a decent view of the area. The hotel is well connected to major train lines (walking distance ranging 500m~1.5km for about 5 different lines). It was very convenient to travel to major tourist hubs such as Shinjuku, Ginza, and Shibuya. If you go for a morning run, the route to the Imperial Palace is scenic and about 2km one-way. The counter staff were excellent in their service. The breakfast option provided an excellent range of nutrition: salad, fruits, cereal, carbs, some Western sides, Japanese sides and fish, rice, soup, etc.

First, the Wifi can be spotty especially if you are trying to connect with a laptop. Next, if you're using the laundry services, the dryer isn't particularly powerful. The immediate vicinity of the hotel isn't endowed with great shopping (some convenience stores nearby), so you would have to walk ~1.5km to the Akasaka area for decent shopping, meals, and nightlife.

The hotel was very neat and clean, staff are professional, very kind, polite and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Close to lots of amenities and shops.

Adding more furniture to the lobby would enhance the experience, as the current spacious lobby lacks sufficient seating, forcing passengers to stand for extended periods.

Spacious room with a pleasant hotel view. Conveniently located within walking distance of three different subway stations. Bottled water was provided, which the other two hotels I stayed at in Osaka and Kyoto did not offer. There's a 7-Eleven right across the street, adding to the overall convenience. The breakfast selection was excellent, offering a good variety of both Japanese and Western dishes.

It’s not really a complaint, but something worth mentioning. When I checked in, I informed the front desk that I would be leaving early the next morning and might not have time to eat in for breakfast. I was told that a takeaway option was available. However, the next day, a different staff member said there wasn’t. It would be great if there were a simple takeaway option like sandwiches and a bottle of fruit juice.
