Very good location right next to the beach and within walking distance to other beaches like Sunny Sands, the Harbour, the Leas Nature Reserve, the city centre. The owner Cesar is really nice and makes every effort for you to be comfortable. Spacious rooms with stunning views. Thick walls so quiet rooms.

The hotel is a bit tired, we had two family rooms and both had a very comfortable bed and the other not so much. But I think very acceptable for the price you pay.

Perfect location and really friendly owner. Basic facilities but good value for money. 5 minutes walk for the harbour arm and lessthan that from the beach. Only noise at night was the seaguls.

The car park did feel a bit unsecure however I could see my car from the room.

Repeat customer love the man that owns it. He is a proper gentleman We had a problem with the tv and because he couldn’t sort it there and then he moved us . Great customer service

Lovely spacious reception area and fabulous location right on the seafront and close to the harbour and creative quarter. The owner Cesar who has been running it for 51 years! is super friendly, chatty and welcoming. He let me view a couple of the rooms before booking and I feel I got a really good deal. The room and hotel itself are full of character,.I didn’t try the breakfast so can’t comment on that but my room had a balcony looking out on the beach. It was pleasantly cool in the room unlike certain other Folkestone hotels.

The hotel is a little shabby. I imagine there could be noise from weekend revellers outside but it was pretty quiet when I was there. There was no wifi in my room. The pillows and mattress are not the most comfy but it didn’t bother me much. The lift wasn’t working.

The friendly and attentive owner made us feel like coming home... What a lovely man ....too many details to mention...but...I wish him ,his family and his hotel to thrive . Thank you Cesar, you made our little holiday stay very special :) If you are looking for a cozy atmosphere with a friendly face....this is a place for you... And of course the best location with a beautiful view to the sea out of your window .

Devil is in the details some might say....well they are so micro that it's not worth being mentioned. If you are looking for the flaws you can always find them somewhere...We found a lovely and cozy atmosphere instead... We are all different I guess ,but we found what we were looking for... If you are "our" kind of people I guarantee you will too...

We used this as an overnight stop before catching the eurotunnel with our 2 children and it was perfect. Basic but clean, comfortable and the gentleman owner who booked us in was a delight! Really friendly staff and and adorable dog too! Breakfast was delicious and brilliant value, kids ate for free. The tv didnt have sound in our room but after more than 8 hours driving we were all ready for bed anyway! We'd definitely look at booking again next time we cross the Channel. Thank you

Friendly greeting on arrival, carpark free, clean room with sea view. Parking in this area is difficult and expensive so a bonus there. The location is excellent, on the beach and a minutes walk to bars and restaurants around the old harbour.

Nothing all good

The beach was a few yards away which was great for my daughter and son . No problem with parking , the room was very clean and the staff were wonderful . I would advise anyone to have the breakfast , my son had a vegetarian breakfast which he said was the best and for 7.50 where are you going to get that . We stayed for 3 nights and have already booked to stay again .

There was absolutely nothing that I disliked . Parking as soon as I arrived and welcoming staff .

Charming, relatively old family-run hotel right on the Folkestone seafront. The age of the building does show through in places, but not in a way that seems too shabby or run-down - just gives it a bit of character, in my opinion. Staff is super friendly too.
