Size of the room, and it's cleanliness. The hotel is very recent and everything is functional.The staff was very helpful when needed. There is parking on site, although it can be a challenge to access it because of the tight street at the entrance. But there is ample parking nearby. The spa is a great amenity that can only be enjoyed by occupants of one room at a time. This makes you feel quite special.

The breakfast is ok, but too expensive for what is included. It is best to get breakfast items at a local grocery store and eat them in the room which is quite comfy. Access to the parking can be a challenge. It is easier to enter from the street by going against the traffic! You'll see what I mean when you get there. The spa is great but you need to book it in advance in order to use it. It makes you rush to come back to the hotel to enjoy it.

May 9, 2025 - We had such a lovely stay! Hotel is close to Centro/restaurants/coffee shops/souvenir shops - walking distance. Very clean, well organized, free on-site parking (limited to approx 10-12 spots, first come basis). Spacious room and living area, fully equipped kitchen (microwave, toaster, stovetop, fridge, wine opener, utensils, Nespresso machine with pods). The spa was a fantastic surprise (hot tub/Turkish bath, wet and dry sauna, shower), it's by appointment only and private - so relaxing and the perfect way to spend some downtime. They have an outdoor pool (not heated, but refreshing after the hot relaxing spa). We'll be back for sure! Thank you to the lovely ladies at the front desk for your advice and recommendations, it was a great stay! There is some construction at the front of the hotel across the street, we were early risers so it didn't bother us, and by the time we came home, they were finished for the day. Highly recommend this hotel! 👌🏼

very nice, spacious, and cozy apartment that we had. comfy bed, clean bathroom, daily service was in general great. they even washed dishes after us! we would definitely choose this hotel to stay again.

however, somehow, we had mixed feelings about the daily servicing of our room. it exceeded our expectations at some point. on the other hand, there were constant glitches in some simple things, such as not replenishing coffee capsules or misunderstanding about the cleaning time. as well parking entrance is not very convenient, especially for unexperienced drivers. that's why it is only 9, not 10

Very quiet, even though on a busy road. Bus stops very close to the apartments. 50cents a bus trip.

It's not close to shops and restaurants, that's why the buses were needed.

The hotel was very good! A very comfortable room with a separate sofabed for our 4 year old son; I loved it that they contacted us in advance to ask if he was sleeping with us in the room or in "his own" bed. The staff was very friendly and attentive; they even provided a box of chocolates for my husbands birthday during our stay! they also helped us finding a new whale watching trip when our originally booked whale watching trip was cancelled. Breakfast was good; the only thing I can say that a little bit of variation in what they offer would be good but it was more than ok. Parking under the hotel is very convenient and it's a great added value not having to stress about having a place to park the car in the evening. The entrance is a bit narrow because there are always (wrongly) parked cars at the other side of the street but it's doable. The pool is very cold (I know that is maybe due to the time of the year but I expected it to be a bit warmer) but there is a spa that can be used as well and it's included in the price. (you have to book it in advance via the reception desk but if it's available you can use it) I would recommend this hotel for sure!

One small point: the electricity in the room is very noisy so we turned it off at night to be able to sleep.

The Staff was outstanding! Everybody was very welcoming and helpful. Thank you very much to the manager, Sissa, and the rest of the team. The breakfast was great, there were many options, and everything was good. The hotel is in an excellent location—a 5-minute walk to the marina and city center. The room/apartment is fantastic for short or long stays because it has a small kitchen.

It's not the hotel's fault, but the construction work in front of the building. Not only is it noisy in the morning, but it will ruin the views if you are facing the sea.

Everything! We spent three days here and it was outstanding. Actually, of the three weeks we spent in Spain and Portugal, this was the best apartment we had by far! First, the reception staff was very friendly and helpful - and let us check in early. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and then some. It even had a smart TV, which is hard to find in Europe. We had a nice view of the ocean from our apartment. We used the beautiful pool one day and it was also very clean and refreshing. The breakfast was very good with a lot of choices and the restaurant staff were very attentive! The apartment building has nice underground parking for most of the tenants - first come/first serve. The location is excellent as it is a short walk to the waterfront and to downtown Ponta Delgada. And Ponta Delgada is an excellent location to explore the beautiful island since it is somewhat central. Stay at Pero Teive Bay Apartments - you will be glad you did!

The staff were so helpful and friendly, rooms and facilities were clean and the breakfast was great! The pool was also nice and quiet- great place to lounge with little kids. Great location to get into town and to the pier, but the only caveat with location is that you basically walk out onto the street because the sidewalk in front of the hotel is so narrow. So be very careful if travelling with small children.

I would have like at least an option to access food past breakfast- even a vending machine. I would have also appreciated having tissue paper (like Kleenex) and paper towel to blow our nose or clean up spills. Also, there’s no way to lock the door to the room from the inside so if you have kids they can get out very easily.

Perfect location and great facilities. Especially loved the spa and the view from the room. Super easy to book your private 50 minute spa slot. Staff was super friendly and communication over WhatsApp easy. Parking was ideal for the rental car. Couldn’t recommend this enough, especially for the price - amazing value.

Only thing that was annoying was quite loud hammering and drilling some mornings. Wasn’t the hotels fault as there was construction works right next door.

A lovely modern apartment complex, well designed. Great location with friendly and helpful staff. A spacious apartment with everything you need. Spa was a nice touch, especially having it exclusively. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay again.

It's hard to think of anything negative. There are a couple of things to consider for non coffee drinkers. There is no tea provided, and the cups are very small. But this did not spoil our stay. We didn't try the breakfast as it seemed a lot to pay.
