- Excellent location less than 5 min walk to the central train station, Opera House and waterfront. From the airport take the fast train (FLYTOGET) to central station and walk to the hotel. From the platform (13 or 14 ) use the first exit on your left, turn left and walk parallel to the platform until the flyover, turn right towards the traffic lights. The hotel will be 45’ on your left next to the bus stop. - Very comfortable and chic room. - Excellent breakfast. - Excellent staff. - On the way from the hotel towards the Opera House there is a restaurant called Dognvill they have fantastic burgers and milkshakes (was recommended by the hotel reception staff).

Wished if I had more time in Oslo.

The location of the Hotel was perfect. It was walking distance to ferry terminal and central station, but in quite neighbourhood. We had a room upgrade as they did not have the particular room type we requested. The gym facilities were the best so far during our Scandinavian trip. The breakfast was out of this world with a nice sprwas and quality ingredients. So many healthy options to choose from. There is something for every taste... You can even get Moeller's fish oil :) Overall very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend.

Great and comfy bed! In general, great interior, silent fridge, nice bed linen, and enough room for the clothes and luggage. Nice and big bathroom with floor heating. Super silent! You could not hear a thing. Great view from the gym to the neighborhood area.

Check-in and check-out was okay without human interaction. But it was weird that you did not get a card holder with the room number on it. So you have to remember which of the +1.000 rooms is yours. The staff assisted on my departure day with the luggage room to store my suitcase. I think it was odd that they did not provide any tag or number. I could have taken any suitcase I want without identification.

Highlight would be the breakfast, as there was an excellent selection available. Hot/cold, sweet/savory, food/drink all well covered with nice options and included with the room. Made for a nice start to the day before we headed off somewhere for a hike. Well located to walk into the centre of Oslo and very close to the trainin station, making for a very easy journey to/from the airport.

The hotel had a system where you needed to request for the room to be cleaned, fresh towels etc. Whereas most hotels I've stayed at clean by default. The system itself is fine, but I'd have prefered it to be made clear on check in so we knew to request.

I changed my hotel reservation for my stay at Oslo a couple of times from other highly rated hotels that had some reviews that were not quite right for me, mainly about noise. The Clarion Hotel Oslo was in my estimation about as perfect as I could imagine. The location is exceptional, near everything but not right in the middle of anything so it was supremely quiet. A short walk to the train station making it super convenient for in/outbound travel. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were super helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was huge, with something for everyone and was one of the best I've ever had! I was in for breakfast early so never had any problems, and observed that it got very busy later, so time it right and you'll enjoy an amazing meal. I fully intend to come back to Oslo and will 100% stay at the Clarion Hotel Oslo again - no need to look anywhere else for a quiet, comfortable room with a wonderful breakfast to kickstart a day.

There was nothing to dislike. I loved everything about my stay at the Clarion Hotel Oslo!

The staff is good. They responded to our request right after we booked and assigned us a quiet room, they checked us in at 12 instead of 15 - we really appreciated that. The breakfast was quite nice, especially the omelette station. Outside was -5C but the room was comfortable - not too warm, not cold. Excellent water pressure and temperature. Not too much storage but there was place to put our stuff down.

No major issues at all. I would mention smaller things - the room was dark as in there wasnt a single bright light but there were like 7 dim ones. The room was on the smaller side. The safe would give an error (but kinda work too). A pool would have been an excellent addition.

Everything. The hotel is very conveniently located very close to the Opera House and the Central Station. It's very clean, has very good soundproofing - we had a room facing the main streent and there was almost no noise. The breakfast was one of the best we ever had in a 4 star hotel, if not the best. In short, we had a great stay and we would definitely stay here again.

There was just one thing: they didn't have umbrellas to give to the hotel clients. Not even for rent. Just for sale. Which is a bit unusual, in my opinion.

Amazing breakfast. Best ever! Hotel was super clean. Staff were friendly. Hotel was in perfect location for attractions and transport.

Location is great: it is a walking distance to all major attractions. I like walking so I didn’t even bother to purchase a public transport tickets as everything was really within 20 min walk distance. For those who doesn’t like walk much the tram and bus stop just next to the hotel and the central station is 5 min away by foot. Food: breakfast is fabulous. The selection of cold and hot options, sweet and savory, barista and pancake maker at your disposal. One of the best breakfasts in the hotels I’ve had. Clean and comfortable: the room was proper. There is no carpet on the floor which is rare for hotels but it feels good to walk on wooden floor. Rituals cosmetics in bathroom is a plus as well. Bar in the lobby: good cocktails, friendly staff and nice finger food.

The light switching system is difficult to get.

The strongest point is the location. The main tourist atractions as well as the central train station and Oslo bussterminal are all within walking distance (~10 min). A bus/tram stop is right in front of the hotel, there are a few convenience stores nearby too. Fantastic breakfast with a wide variety of food (incl. smoked salmon, brunøst, freshly made omelettes and pancakes, delicious apple pie bites).

Very confusing lighting system. It was a struggle to turn on the light in the bathroom. The light was also too dim so the room felt quite dark despite having all the lights turned on. Personal preference but the bed mattress was too soft for us; it kept sliding and needed fixing every morning. A kettle in the room would have been nice. Socket only on one side of the bed.
