Location is absolutely perfect. We came all the way from Trondheim to see out favourite band TENACIOUS D live and the hotel could not be located better - it's literally situated ON TOP of the train station, next to the opera and the Oslo Spectrum hall. The staff was really friendly and helpful too!

The room was much smaller than we anticipated from the pictures. The view from our window was disappointing - a wall! There's no HOT water coming from the tap or shower, just warm. But if you want to have a relaxing hot shower after walking all day, forget it! The morning buffet is stupidly tiny and even though there were only about 15 people ahead of us to pick their food, it felt like ages to be able to finally get something. And the choice was really poor too.

Breakfast and location are excellent.

A kettle for tea/ coffee in the room would have made the stay perfect.

The ease of check-in. The location of the hotel wss in close proximity to train station and oslo city centre.

The corridor to my room would only light up by sensors that were at the first door so most of the time i would be walking in complete darkness along the long corridor once i got out my room.

.Location was perfect for my interests in Oslo. I was able to walk pretty much everywhere I wanted to go. Proximity to the Opera House, Munch Museum and one of the wharf areas from which the tour boats depart was most helpful. Arriving and departing from the Central Railroad Station makes this location perfect.

The hotel is a tad short on amenities. I didn't expect a 5 star facility at this price and I do believe that the attention to environmental issues was a pleasant discovery although a box of tissues would have been nice and wouldn't have compromised them. I also would have like a bath mat for when I exited the shower dripping wet on a tile floor.

Location Location : It’s Connected to the Main Railway station , so you just walk to your Hotel & it’s next to the water front & on the Main Street .What else can one ask for ? The Staff : Martha ( From Oslo 😊) at the reception/ Check in counter was Excellent. Professional yet served the guest with A Good smile & a Warm heart . We spent 4 days & got to interact with Martha on most days & her Colleague Mr Mahi , who is knowledgeable on various topics . The other staff we courteous too ( but could not interact too much with them ) The Reception staff at the Hotel was excellent Breakfast : Well spread , v good 👍 Rooms : With City view : Awesome . Massive Hotel The walk to our rooms was pretty long

No intercom , so we had to walk down to the reception if we had any questions & The fact that we could not extend our holiday 😊

Excellent location, essentially connected to the main train station so you don’t have to brace the cold or snow to walk to the hotel. You can take a covered path through the shops to get to the hotel. Value for money. Very good breakfast. Our shower wasn’t draining so the first room flooded - this was dealt with by the reception staff very promptly by swapping us to another room.

Extremely small room - difficult to open two large suitcases, so only one can be open at any time. Strange layout of the rooms where you may have to take two sets of lifts to get to your room, and if you’re at the other corner of the lobby it is quite a far walk as there is entrance and exit to the hotel is only via the lobby.

Very interesting structure, tucked against and above the Oslo central train station. The room was lovely, with a comfy bed, unusual roofing pillars that added to the charm, and view of the metro square. We booked two nights with every intention of arriving early in the morning of Day 2 and immediately checking-in to rest, and they were happy to accommodate us through Booking.com.

Little in the way of bath and toiletries: one bath and one hand towel per person, an all-purpose shower soap for hair and body, and no tissues. No coffee machine in room (but somewhat helpful: you are located over a train station with a dozen coffee shops). No safe in room.

Lovely reception staff, perfect location, and good price for the location. Good for anyone not worried about the frills. Overheard some people asking a receptionist to get them coffee... 🙄 Links with the station meaning easy to move about and get to coffee/711 without getting wet. Love the availability of water and toilets to guests which made reception feel welcoming.

Just some odd things. The light in the bathroom couldn't be switched off and you had to wait for it to turn itself off after ten minutes unless you removed your card and power from the room. This meant if you got up in the night you would be blasted by it coming on. The lifts didn't always work with some broken buttons. I would make sure any accessibility issues are noted in advance as this did mean going upstairs with luggage.

The room was more spacious than pictures made out, the ceilings were extremely high which made it all look and feel nicer. The location could not have been more central, 30 second walk to the metro, 1 minute walk to the Opera house, 30 second walk and you're onto the busiest shopping street, tonnes of stuff all around it yet it never felt too busy. Breakfast was really nice, but not too much choice. The staff were also extremely helpful and welcoming - we'd definitely book again

The location is very convenient..right next to the train station, buses and trams and within walking distance to Munch Museum, Opera House, main library, boat rides, etc. The breakfast offerings were plentiful.

We found the decor weird - very strange for a hotel. The hotel needs an artistic makeover. I wouldn't recommend this hotel. Unfortunately, the Opera Hotel was sold out. I stayed there on my last trip to Oslo. It's so much better for just a little more.
