Stunning view of lake-side, good dinner and breakfast. Miss Sandre who took care of us, she was really sweet although we saw her running around same busy bee to take care every guests, she always being hospitalised and smile always. Bathroom was nice and clean.

We stayed one night in room without window in this property, and would not recommend, as the property situated just along the side of stunning lake view. The room decorated in black and used dim lights which make room looked gloomy. We felt like staying in Addams Family's house. And they seemed short of staff, so we always got delayed service.

The staff were pleasant, helpful and friendly. The meal in the restaurant was good. There was entertainment in the pub that evening, which was brilliant. Everyone in the pub - including the bar staff - were having a great time.

There were problems with the TV in one room, and no bath in the other. The breakfast could also have been laid out better - i.e. been given fresh tea/coffee rather than getting it out of urns. I would have liked the option of some fruit for breakfast also. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel has been refurbished and everything is new and in good condition. There are very interesting pictures on the walls and also objets d'arts. Good supply of tea, coffee etc and also tissues! We had a delicious dinner and our table had a fabulous view of the loch. The location is sensational and there are lovely areas to sit out.

We were told breakfast was between 8 and 9 am. The door to the breakfast room was still locked at 8.20. The staff member on duty then opened it and said breakfast didn't officially start till 8.30. This was an unfortunate incident, but 8.30 still seems a very late start for breakfast with most hotels serving it from 7 or 7.30.

We enjoyed our stay as a family of 3, we stayed for 3 nights and had a proper rest before we explored the nearby areas. The size of the room is sufficient and the bathroom is massive and modern, cleanliness is 10/10. The breakfast is excellent, made to order and included in our stay. The Staff are amazing, special shout out to Robert who was so kind and accommodating to our needs and very friendly and helpful.

The Galley of Lorne Inn, situated at the western end of the sleepy village of Ardfern, provided an excellent touring base to explore the Kilmartin Glen and Oban Areas. The staff were exceptionally helpful, the location ideal and the Dinner and Breakfast tailored to taste, coupled with excellent Wi-Fi and adequate off-road parking the Inn is highly recommend !

Never could get the telly to to work but no great loss as the breath taking scenery was better than any TV !!

Rooms were clean and bathrooms were quite big. Jade was very welcoming when we arrived

Service for dinner was quite poor, waited over 10 minutes to get seated, only three tables in restaurant so wasn’t busy. Guinness and steak pie must have been left in the oven for quite some time as sauce was more like jelly. After the main course no one came for a while so we just got up and left. However breakfast in morning was good , but 8.30am to start it seems a bit late

Breakfast was so good, had the full Scottish, everything was freshly made and of good quality. Staff were first class, very friendly and helpful. even when they were rushed off their feet due to staff shortages. Bathroom was clean and modern, bath with overhead shower and hand held shower.

Missed having a dressing table mirror. There is a tall wall mirror but socket for hair dryer too far away.

Made to feel very welcome from minute we arrived. Very comfy warm room .very clean .Bathroom had bath and an excellent hot shower. The food is excellent and a good choice of drinks .Set in a great location with a nice walk along the coast .All staff are very friendly and polite and a very big thanks to Mike who goes out of his way to help in anyway he can .

All the staff were so friendly. Christian, the chef cooked beautiful meals, the housekeeping staff were really friendly and helpful and Robert, who was not only the barman, waiter and receptionist, but a font of all knowledge and master of the best playlist. We loved staying here.

The bedrooms were a bit snug.

Beautiful location, gorgeous hotel, very friendly staff, great food, excellent value for money and an overall very friendly vibe. Special mention to the chef who went above and beyond to feed me and my kids after we arrived much later than expected with very hungry bellies. A total lifesaver and very much appreciated.
