The heating in the bedroom and bathroom work perfectly and you can adjust it to your comfort. The rooms are very spacious and have a lot of character. The beds are very comfortable and your room will be made up again by the time you come back in after a full morning or day. This place has been family run through the generations, you can feel the history, the heart and soul. Breakfast is a delight. You fill out a little form the night before and it is served to you in the morning at your table. I really recommend the honey, the yogurt and the scrambled eggs, which are cooked to perfection it's a very relaxing affair in a beautiful room ... a perfect start to a busy day. There are a few mentions on here about a kettle. The family do realise that some people, mainly the British!!!!, will want a kettle. All you've got to do is ask!! The hotel is run on good old-fashioned customer service. If you want to get a feel of the real people of Lublijana and Slovenia, and their history, this place is for you. If you want corporate, minimalist, cold luxury probably not!!!!!!

There was nothing to dislike.

This is a gem of a Hotel, located within a 20-minute walk to the heart of the city. Our room was spacious, clean and very convenient. Breakfast was served outdoors in a lovely setting. The food was great and we could choose the various ingredients of our meal from a prefixed menu provided to us the evening before. Parking was available for an extra pay and we could leave our car there safely to stroll the streets of Ljulijana for much of the following day. The staff were super kind and friendly and one could sense that this place is run by a loving family.

The only thing we were disappointed of was that we did not arrive on a Wednesday. This way we could have enjoyed the weekly jazz concert at the hotel :)

The room was spacious, secure and clean. staff were helpful and went the extra mile to provide us with an early breakfast on departure day. Breakfast was fresh and tasty and served in a very stylish room. The whole place had an air of history and culture.

They advertised a kettle in the room and there wasn’t one, nor were there any cups. We like to be able to make tea or coffee in our room. The toilet flush gurgled for hours, despite staff trying to fix it, but you couldn’t hear it if the bathroom door was kept closed.

The room was superb along with the facilities. It was quiet, air conditioning was excellent & quiet also. Bed really comfortable. Lovely staff, good breakfast & nice cafe for refreshments/ wine. It's also close to the bus & railway station. Would stay again most definitely.

We had to get an early bus to the airport at 8.10 a.m.& breakfast didn't start until 8.00 am. They accommodated us but, it was a bit rushed. A leisurely breakfast from 7.00 a.m would have been a better experience.. this is not a complaint, just a suggestion, as there were at least half a dozen other people in a similar situation to us.

I have stayed in around 30 hotels through Booking.com over the last few months and this was one of the best for sure! I arrived super early (9.30am) just hoping to put my luggage away for a few hours before check-in, but they told me that my room was almost ready from the previous guests leaving early - they sat me on their nice terasse with a freshly made coffee until the room was ready. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was really nice and the people working at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

It would be helpful if there was an iron and ironing board in each room. You can request them from reception but I prefer if they are already in the room.

Hidden gem in the centre of Ljubljana, still peaceful, small boutique hotel in historical building. Room was all I needed with antique furniture, access to patio, nice view to inner block with terrace where food was served. I like breakfast concept as nothing is wasted, staff pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Loved this place and Im very glad I chose it. Place had a unique vibe which no hotel chain can ever offer. One of the most pleasant stays I‘ve ever had.

We were in Hotel Slamič one Night. Everything was great. Our room was clean. Also very quiet at night. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great. You have a list with food for breakfast, your room number and the time you want to eat. You fill out the list and when you come to have a breakfast, they serve you the food you wanted. Great idea. The location was also great, few minutes by foot to the centre.

A bit pricey with additional parking charge (20€).

This B&B was perfect for my weekend trip to Ljubljana! Loved the location from the train station and city center. The staff was so nice and welcoming too. I got a single room for my stay and it was perfect for my needs. Bed was very comfy and place was very peaceful/quiet at night. The breakfast was super good too - I LOVED their homemade granola that they served (really wish they sold a bag for me to buy haha) and the nice tough of Slovenian honey to pour over it. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Ljubljana.

Parking was not free however it was very convenient and very secure. Breakfast was included, you order the evening before and are served when you arrive in the dinning hall. Breakfast and lunch were very good. The staff was great, from checkin to meals and the bartender all were very attentive and professional.

The bar closed at 2200, at least another hour would have been nice.

Friendly warm welcome on arrival. Our room was in newer part of hotel .Bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was really good,ordering it the night before a great idea.lovely terrace where breakfast served,again staff serving breakfast very friendly. Short walk to old town.

Liked everything but would be nice if rooms had more hooks for hanging towels. A little more storage space would be welcome too
