This was one of the best hotels over the time we travelled in Slovenia. Special thanks for the complimentary wine! What was great: 1. Reception with perfect English, very friendly and with detailed and simple explanations. It is very easy to get confused when you are not a frequent traveller. But they were great! 2. Many parking spaces, some are even right next to the hotel doors. 3. The rooms are very modern, and everything looks new. Huge windows and very heavy thick doors make it feel luxurious. 4. NO HIDDEN COSTS! After visiting a few expensive established hotels, that stack up your fridge with "refreshment" items for unknown prices and charge you after, WUD actually did the opposite - they left a bottle of wine with a clear indication, that it is a gift. LOVE! 5. Breakfast was great, the usual pastry, jams, scrambled eggs and sausages, fruits and vegetables, tea, coffee and different kinds of dry breakfast options with milk and yoghurt. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and I am sure that next time we visit Ljubliana - this will be our first option to stay at. PS: You might want to consider putting mosquito nets on windows when it gets colder. The air is so fresh outside, that it could be very nice to sleep with windows open. Just a suggestion, not a dislike.

Everybody complains about the breakfast but it's actually similar to what you eat at home everyday. The balcony was just beautiful. It is close to a river. It is being cleaned all the time. There is netflix. Nice big towels. It has a hairdryer. Lidle is close by. You can get what you need from there. There is nice pizza place close by called Oliva.

The bathroom and the sinks to wash your hands are separate. It doesn't feel like a big deal at first but it starts to annoy you after a day or two. Taxi doesn't come to the plscel soon. It takes at least 10 minutes for them to arrive. They don't have slippers so bring your own.

Decent location, across a large Lidl store and - obviously - within a sports centre (offering tennis and badminton course among others) of which the hotel seems to be a part of. Rooms are clean and modern with interesting layout but nothing was missing basically. Driving an electric vehicle, it was more than convenient to have a charging station right in front of the hotel.

Reception and breakfast are in the building (entrance) 100m away - not bad but probably not most joyful in the winter time. While there is enough parking space, it gets extremely crowded in the afternoon (when people are obviously coming for tennis training etc.), so be prepared not to have a space waiting for you. The small parking lot (for about 4 cars) in front of the "rooms-building" is rather narrow, so you need to exit carefully. Also, an additional charging station could be a smart investment for the future ;-)

This hotel is on the outskirts of town, between a semi-rural area and what looks like a suburban public housing project. It's very quiet. I liked the fact that there are Lidl and Spar supermarkets within a short walking distance. The room was very clean, and the best thing was that it had a small outdoor "mini-garden" since it was on the ground floor. Ljubljana is not a big city, so a nice thirty-minute walk is sufficient to reach the beautiful city centre and hilltop castle.

The hotel was good value and we didn't expect 5 star. It was clean and comfortable. You check in and have breakfast next to the WUD 10 m. to the right as you face the entrance. The hotel is around 4 klm from the city centre, free bikes are available. Make sure that the balcony door is properly closed if you want the air conditioner to keep working. It was 35 degrees when we were there and it was comfortable in the room. WiFi worked perfectly. We found the beds very comfortable. Supermarket 50m away was useful.

Very quiet and relaxing location. Spacious balcony and room looks new. Close to bus routes that go to the city centre. Staff were very helpful.

Small things : no kettle in the room so for morning coffee you would need to wait for breakfast area to open. Would have been nice to have a luggage ramp slide to reach reception. Even though reception is on the ground floor you need to climb down a small flight of stairs and climb up stairs again. Not ideal with heavy luggage. Not too many restaurant options nearby.

The hotel is really great. The hotel rooms are cleaned and the towels are changed every day. In a very calm neighbourhood with all sport facilities. The price includes the access to some indoor sport activities. The only thing I found a bit insufficient wad breakfast. For a week stay it could more various. But the rest was OK.

I absolutely loved this place. Super quiet, modern, comfortable, spacious and cozy. We had a little issue with the self check-in (the hotel is totally unattended) but a person on the phone solved it quickly despite the fact that it was late a night. Just a quick suggestions here: it would be terrific if they could install a phone to call the staff since we didn't have a local phone and I had to pay for the call to the reception. The room we were assigned was amazing and it had a little kitchenette that was super handy to prepare our dog's food. We also had an espresso machine with quality coffee and free bottled water. The bed was incredibly big and healthy, our room was huge as was the bathroom. Including the soap looked very fancy. Our room also had a giant bathtub that we didn't chose but it was very nice to have. Checking my reservation, I realized that the person that helped me with the check-in had given us an upgrade, probably inadvertently, but when I contacted the customer support they refunded the difference immediately (thanks again!). One of the most amazing thing was the free and handy parking, just below the hotel. We didn't hang much in the lobby, but I could see that there were very well assorted vending machine and more free, good coffee. I highly recommend this place, a rare gem of free and quality facilities in costly Switzerland!

Friendly staff, very nice interior, new hotel, very comfortable bed and bedding. Accepts with dogs, which is awesome. Even gives free bottle of wine! Would love to come back, if air conditioning was only our room problem :)

Air conditioning was not working, so was pretty hot, not sure what was the problem, as corridor was pretty cold. And could improve with breakfast.

The hotel is immaculate and very new, minimal but cozy. It is not very central, but that's convenient if you're visiting by car, easily accessible and with a big parking lot. With their bikes ( free of charge ) you reach the Dragon Bridge in 10-15 minutes and enjoy the wonderful cycling lanes of Ljubljana, an authentic urban cyclist heaven.

I only have one suggestion to make: the wine bottle was more than welcome, but it would be great if you equipped the rooms with an electric kettle, that for me is always very welcome as well 🙂
