What I would recommend the staff do as you guys have beverages and snacks at the rooms, can a staff accompany the guest to double check everything to avoid my inconvenience they said I opens the wine and I explained to the lady that I did not they wanted to charge me with no proof that I did open it as no one confirmed that everything was inorder before we got to the room that was very low of you guys I was upset

Being accused of opening a wine

I was upgraded which was a real surprise and treat. I generally love coming to this hotel, as it is central, staff is very friendly, rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean.

I really do not like the check out procedure where the bar fridge needs to be checked only at check out, it often takes quite long and really delays the process. It was also awkward that when I returned to my room in late afternoon someone was still cleaning and asked me to leave as I was not allowed to be in the room with her. This was uncalled for, whilst I acknowledge that perhaps it is a rule for cleaning staff for some reason, e.g. safety , it is not acceptable that the customer must leave because the room was not cleaned yet at that late in the afternoon

- Breakfast was good - Lobby and decor was stylish and nice

-The TVs are horrendously outdated. The establishment needs to upgrade the TVs - Minibar was unnecessary. Rather keep the fridge empty for when guests want to put their own stuff and provide a request menu where-by guests get those minibar items on request - Deposit of R200 per night was ridiculous. Liase with booking.com so guests are not caught off-guard when they arrive that its R200 PER NIGHT . Also parking fee of R100 per day is not good at all.

The room service for dinner was excellent and the location was great. The Potters were very helpful

The money paid on daily as a stand by for the beverages in the fridge needs to be communicated ahead as this is just an incovenience for someone traveling for work and not having enough money to pay upfront. This must be communicated when bookings are confirmed or made or there must be a tick box to either agree or not.

Finally they’ve renovated their bathrooms, looks stunning. Colour coordination , lights etc.

Bedroom section was not renovated , the removed the bath and replaced it with a shower. 😭 No bathtub for me to unwind . The new staff is so unfriendly , you people dismissed the good old staff who knew how to take care of us. Check in takes decades , the front desk staff seem to be competing with who has more knowledge instead of helping us etc. The GM is crap , once sent an email and gosh wish you could get a new one ☝️ she doesn’t know her stuff. The one coloured man at the parking section is the best forgot his name but known him for years , still shows us love .. informed him too that the place sucks and is the same.

I liked the size of the room, the bathroom was spacious and morden. The room was quite spacious. I like the ambiance of the hotel.

The TV is too small and does not suit the size of the room. The lift is too slow and literally moves at a snail's pace. The hotel should consider adding more lifts, as two lifts are not enough for a hotel with nine floors. The bathrooms are spacious but lack ventilation. The cards used to open doors constantly stop working and need to be replaced every day. The hotel seems to have a challenge with soundproofing, as it is easy to be distracted by noise from outside. However, generally, the hotel is good. I would definitely stay there again.

Check-in staff when we arrived were superb, friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a terrific variety of foods, hot and cold. The room was spacious and comfortable. Cleaning staff lovely and friendly.

The check-out staff were terrible. We were treated as though we were not standing right there in front of them at reception. No greeting, just took my room keycard off the counter where I put it. No asking if we enjoyed our stay. No thank you. Nothing. No interaction with us. One of the two male staff members was on his cellphones social media messages, directly in front of me. No professionalism and definitely not hospitality standard. It was the complete opposite to our check-in experience, but it has a lasting negative effect.

The breakfast was really good. There is a restaurant operating in the hotel, which has fantastic foods. The staff was kind.

There was no showerhead and bidet in the bathroom. The hair dryer was hard to find in the living room, plugged into a desk drawer. The check-in process was difficult, we waited an hour to get the rooms. Every morning at dawn we woke up to the singing of a mosque, which was very disturbing. The remote control didn't work.

Firstly we have stayed in the past & Liked the location as it’s central & safe Also I give credit too the people who work hard has a team too satisfy are need’s appropriate

Smoking location I think if there was a facility Safe too sit & relax and smoke outdoors Would bring a few more punters

Breakfast is very good and the room very spacious and elegant overall stay is very nice. Staff at the breakfast room are so friendly and their service is excellent.

Stay is very nice and lovely BUT wait until your stay is over and you are checking out, no one cares about you. Called for porter and no response apart from a promise that was never honored. Sat in the room for 40 min waiting until I had to carry my bags in two trips. I did both trips and at the reception no one seemed to care. Earlier had visited the reception for check out and both attendants were so cold and with unfriendly answers that we both forgot there was a bill clear. I got a reminder call next day. Please work on this.
