It is a great location in the city centre, you can access many famous spots like the beach and gaudi's architectures fairly quick. The prices are decent and the hotel stuffs are generous of the price of my stay :) The hotel stuffs are pretty nice! The toilets are clean, they provide free drinking water for you to drink. They would listen to the questions you raised to them and get them sorted, very friendly and helpful. It is overall a sweet experience!

The heater made buzzing noise sometimes in the night.

The location was very good. It was clean and the staff was ever so kind. I fell I’ll at one point during my stay and one of the staff members (the owner?) made me a cup of tea and was kind enough to go to the pharmacy for me. She also asked me if I needed help getting in contact with a doctor. I felt very cared for and she later checked in on me and asked if I had gotten better etc. She is a very heart warming and kind person! I was a solo traveler and the help was much needed and very nice. Because of this I was also very pleased with the level of safety I felt during my stay. The day I checked out, I waited for my cab and sat in their sofa (this was many hours after I had checked out). I was told I could use the shared bathroom and shower if I wanted, while I waited. Very nice.

The walls wasn’t completely sound proof and for that reason I know that my neighbors had a very good time at one point. Otherwise it wasn’t too bad and there were no loud street noises or anything like that.

For its price, the stay was excellent. Most importantly, the room and the shared bathrooms were clean. The location is perfect, very centrally located, easily accessible using public transport. The hotel provided free filtered water, so you do not need to buy bottled water during our stay. The bed was not too hard (earlier reviews mentioned hard matrasses but I do not agree). We also had a balcony.

The room was quite noisy due to the thin walls and the noise on the streets. However, we are easy sleepers so this was not a problem.

Great hostal centrally located very near the Catalonia plaza about a 2 minute walk. Makes it easy for the airport shuttle. Staff was extremely friendly, helpful, provided advice, and all spoke English. Rooms included great air conditioning which is a godsend on a hot humid Barcelona day. Sound insulation from the outside was good, as it does get very loud at night and the morning street cleaners. WiFi worked well. I highly recommend this hostal if you want a good and reasonably priced place to stay in Barcelona.

Nara was such a great host. From the very beginning she was going out of her way to help us. She gave us suggestions on better ways to travel to the Hostal and gave us step by step instructions on how to do it. The place was great we had our own washroom and the most stunning view. Location could not be beat. Also would like to mention this was my first time at a Hostal and I felt so comfortable.

The mattress was a little uncomfortable because you could feel the springs but really not that big of a deal.

Everything about this property is perfect. Rooms are spacious, noise isolation is great (inside and outside), location is perfect, eveything is very clean and they clean regurarly, temperature is very good, you get free clean water from machine. Bathrooms are spacios and clean, you get clean towels, shower gel, shampo regurarly. Host is very kind woman. I was staying for 8 days and I must say that I recomend this place!

Great location, just off the Ramblas. Only a short walk to the Airport bus stop & the Metro station. Owners were friendly & welcoming. Room was basic, but clean & comfortable. Despite being centrally located it is on a pedestrianised street & there was no noise at night from outside or from other guests. Shower good, Wi-Fi good. Cold water & hot drinks available in reception. We stayed here twice (at the start & end of our trip) & the experience was the same on both stays.

Note - There is no lift, only stairs to access this Hostal.

Very central next to Pl Catalunya, so walking distance to everything, really close to airport bus stop, yet quiet as it’s on a small pedestrianised street that’s empty once shops close. Really clean, friendly staff, great facilities, never had to wait for bathrooms. Room had everything I needed including sink and also a balcony. Great to have use of fridge, microwave, kettle and water filter. Would definitely stay again!

The layout with reception in the middle is slightly odd, means you can sometimes hear noise from phone ringing/late check ins but it’s minimal and the whole hostel was surprisingly quiet even though it was full

The location of this hostel is excellent. There are various shops, supermarkets, bars, and restaurants within the area. Metro is 2 minutes away. The room was overall clean and average in space however it met my expectations. The staff were very friendly.

This hostel may need some upgrading such as the AC which was rusty and it was dripping on the floor. In the common area, we also saw some cockroaches.

Location is perfect. About 30min walk can go to most of place. Next to metro station and can take train or bus directly to airport. Share bathroom is OK, there wasn’t a queue in rush hour.

The air conditioner is aloud, if open the window, outside is aloud, but still reasonable. Shower is ok but water going down slowly.
