This was exactly what we had hoped for. Chose this hotel for the great location and the reviews mentioning the great staff and we weren't disappointed! All the staff on reception were excellent. Frederico greeted us on arrival and truly went above and beyond to help orient us, recommend places to eat/visit and how to get there. On our first evening we tried his recommendation of Ciutat Comtal for a tapas dinner (less than 10 mins from hotel) - and it was absolutely perfect! The hotel location allowed us to arrive easily and cheaply from the airport by the A2 airport bus (bus stop just 2 mins away from hotel). We then spent 2 days exploring Barcelona on foot, by bus, and by metro directly from the hotel. Love this city and loved this hotel! Didn't try the breakfasts as we grabbed coffee and croissant from nearby cafes on our way out. Didn't try the pool as weather wasn't great when we were there in October. Would absolutely go back. Thanks to the staff!

I read reviews about all the funny buttons in the room which were hard to work out because there are no signs to explain what they are for - this was helpful as it meant I tried them all and worked them out before I was too exhausted and ready for bed! Also read other reviews mentioning it is v dark in the rooms - it was, but it was ok if you can work out how to turn all the lights on! No fancy TV channels as far as I could tell but I enjoyed watching the Spanish news and testing out my duolingo skills :-)

Our room was not at the side of the street so we did not hear a lot at all. We slept very good every night. When you read other reviews a lot of people complain about how dark the hotel is but I found it very charming. They also complained about how weird it was to light the room, which was very odd to me because it was very clear how to use it. When all the lights were on you saw more than enough. The cleaning ladies were very friendly as well and the room was always very clean. The staff was very helpful and friendly too. I absolutely had a great time in this hotel and I really can recommend it. The location is excellent!

First room stunk of sewage so had to change. Although a nice hotel it's now showing its age and needs a small attention to detail before going into disrepair.

Absolutely recommend this hotel, location is perfect with a metro station right outside and being situated in an extremely safe area with plenty of bars and restaurants. Location is definitely 10/10 with every famous landmark being accessible by foot, metro or bus. We booked a double room which overlooks the Main Street but it is soundproof making for a very comfortable sleep, we found that the room itself is very bright during the day and also has lighting which can be controlled from your bed. The air-con works extremely well and is very easy to control. The rooftop pool is small but extremely clean and a perfect spot to cool down during the day as well as the terrace having plenty of seats to relax. My room was spotless and the bathroom was very clean and modern, below the sink is buttons to control the glass window to provide you privacy when using the bathroom if wanted! All the hotel reception staff were friendly and very helpful by providing my friend and I a map of the city with recommendations. If I return to Barcelona, I will be staying here again!!!!!!

Hotel Soho is a lovely hotel located in a very convenient and central area of Barcelona. The L1 metro station is just 30 meters away, and the Aerobus (the bus that takes you to and from the airport) stops only a few blocks away—extremely convenient when arriving or departing from the airport (approx. 20 minutes travel time). The staff is one of the greatest assets of this property. Federico, Alessio, and Enrique not only made our stay easier but also gave us excellent advice that helped us enjoy Barcelona in a smarter way. The ladies at the breakfast restaurant and the cleaning staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The room was spacious, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The toiletries were of good quality, and the cleanliness was exceptional. We kept remarking on how clean and tidy everything was—not just in the room, but throughout the entire property. The breakfast selection was good, albeit slightly limited. However, it included everything you’d expect for a pleasant breakfast: coffee, a selection of teas, yogurts, Spanish pastries, cold cuts, and a nice variety of fresh fruit. The staff was always friendly and attentive. ¡Gracias! 😊 There are plenty of excellent restaurants near the hotel, including: Bodega Sepúlveda Casa Delfín Moritz Brewery Restaurant (Fàbrica Moritz) – Don’t miss the stout beer ice cream! Last but not least, as a clarification note: you’re looking at a property with an amazing and very central location. It is situated on one of Barcelona’s most prominent avenues. While this means it may not be as quiet as a hotel in a more remote area, I never had any issues with noise while sleeping, thanks to the excellent insulation of the room. I will definitely come back.

The room's main window had two panes: one that can be opened and one that cannot. The fixed pane has a hole for inserting the handle, which—although minimal—might allow some outside noise to be heard. (Again, the noise is very minimal, but I believe leaving the handle in place helps reduce it further.)

We had a perfect 3days stay at Soho Hotel on our first trip to Barcelona Rooms are spacious, neat and clean and has tea/coffee maker to use at your convenience. Located on Gran via next to Urgell Metro stop and Aerobus stop is at Universitat. Hence it is very convenient for exploring Barcelona, but also away from the crowds if one does like some peace, after the activities filled day/night is over. There are many many cafes, restaurants, convenience stores, supermarkets nearby making it an excellent stay option. The best feature of this hotel is their staff, especially on the reception, polite, considerate, helpful and gave excellent recommendations/tips to make our stay comfortable.

I recently stayed at Hotel Soho and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect—just a short walk from Passeig de Gràcia, one of the main streets in the city, and within walking distance of La Rambla. The hotel is also conveniently close to a train station, making it easy to explore the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I was even given a free upgrade to a larger room. The room itself was spacious and clean, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. Overall, Hotel Soho deserves a 5-star rating for its excellent location, superb service, and top-notch facilities. Highly recommended!

location, safety, clean. just take the A1 AEROBUS from airport for 7€ per person. and you’ll be at the hotel in 15-20 mins. by arriving Universitat station. Alessio had helped us a lot to where to eat, where to visit and all was perfecto! thanks to his warm welcome, we were able to ask for each details we need to learn about the city and the hotel. location is near to historical places + best tapas bars + to shopping. 20-25 mins by walking to Casa Battlo. also, in 1 min. you’ll have metro station to go anywhere you would like to go. strongly recommended!

great location and the front staff very helpful with maps and advice

Alessio, the morning desk staff is wonderful!! Lovely, charming, helpful and quick to give great suggestions. The hotel is in a great location, it’s easy to take public transportation nearby, the beds were comfortable- we slept well.

The young lady working the desk at night (and who checked us in) wasn’t particularly nice or helpful (she didn’t even give us the wifi password) and set a bad tone to our stay initially (which thankfully Alessio turned around). The hallways and rooms are kind of dark. It was a bit strange to be able to see into the shower from the bedroom (thankfully the shower has blinds).
