I recently had the pleasure of staying at mellow hostel Barcelona, and I must say it exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, making check-in a breeze. The hostel is perfectly located, close to public transport 7 min from the hostel and major attractions, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I stayed in a shared dorm, but the atmosphere was friendly and respectful. The common areas were cozy and offered great opportunities to meet fellow travelers. The free Wi-Fi was reliable, which is always a plus. One of the highlights was the hostel's terrace with stunning views of the mountains. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Overall, mellow hostel experience. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet comfortable stay in Barcelona. I would definitely stay here again!

The staff were all amazing, very friendly and helpful. The other people/travellers in the hostel were also very friendly and welcoming. I liked the location of the hostel, it had a really nice view of the city and it was super easy to commute into the city on the metro.

The showers seem gross but it's always going to be like that at a hostel. There were limited toilets on the middle floor (floor 2), one of the toilets was always locked and the other one had a faulty lock. They didn't have an iron.

The layout of the place. It has a pleasant and comfortable terrace. Three stories tall building with working lift, so it is really accessible inside. Not much traffic outside and since no alcohol it’s quiet, good for those who need rest.

Somehow it is annoying that there should be no alcohol on the premises. There is noticeably less cutlery than there are people in the hostel. The location is beautiful, but It is high up the hill so reaching there was a nightmare at moments when the lift bringing you up might be not functional. I know it’s not their fault, but still.

I had wonderful stay at hostel the cleanliness was outstanding, i especially want highlight the amazing cleaning staff who kept everything spotless the recepción staff was friendly and helpful.. my bed was super comfortable thank you .. janan very nice and helpful like always 🤩❣️

Everything was gooooddd

It was pretty clean, with a great view, the beds were very comfortable and the rooms have air conditioning which is perfect for the spanish heat! And the staff was friendly!

The location is on top of a VERY steep hill and if you’re taking the subway you have to walk 15-20 min uphill to reach it

Public transport is not close by. After 9:30pm it’s an adventure to walk through the dark and quiet alleyways if using public transport! This won’t be a problem if using cabs at late hours! However I still walked the alleyways and was luckily safe even at midnights!

I don't know why it has such a low rating. It has all the facilities you need. For the price, it's definitely worth it. It's not in the centre but it is walkable and it's on a hill which when you get there you can look down on the rear side of Barcelona and the view is beautiful.

Nice staff with tours and travel advice available. I loved the view of the city from my window! Everything is kept clean, and they really care about the comfort of everyone there!

Takes some time to get there by foot, but I thought it was worth it.

It is far nicer than the picture makes it’s out to be. It is modern with great rooms and good communal showers

The location is far from the centre however it is more to the fault of lack of transport in Barcelona

The only thing was that it was too cold in the room but I really like the hostel and will recommand it
