Hotel was very close to the Marina, and the beach, where there are plenty of bars and great resturants. Also close to the main road with more bars and restaurants and shops. Staff were great, hotel and pool area were clean and tidy. Plenty of bed chairs, but not all of them are by the pool, half of them are on the grass areas, which is nice if you want to be out of the way. Which suited me fine. The old town is a 12 minute cab journey away and definitely worth a look. Old spanish styles and great cafés and resturants. You can get a bus, but I prefer cabs, cost around €12-€15. The cable car is a 7 minute cab journey away.

I had a side room not overlooking the pool, they are building a new residential apartment. They work from 8 till around 4 or 5pm. Noise wasn't bad, the good thing is your balcony gets the sun in the afternoon, which suited me better. If you have room take a beach towel as they charge €3.5 a day, which I was a bit dissapointed about. Most places I stay don't do this. In peak times the pool is very busy, so if you want to be by the pool, get there early. Pool doesn't open till 10, and I like an early morning swim, so this was a bit of a let down.

We liked the location, about a 5 min walk from the beach, marina, shops, bars and restaurants. Friendly staff, comfortable beds and clean hotel. Variety of food for breakfast and lunch was endless. Our upgrade to a Seaview room was amazing due to been placed in a street view room on our first night when we had paid for a pool view room but we were extremely impressed with how the staff recovered our accommodation.

Unfortunately we didn't get to experience the dinner choice as trousers were requested for males in the evening and my husband only brought shorts as weather was very warm. We viewed the pool but did not get to relax there as the beds at the back were not clean, and the front ones were extremely busy. A charge on the safe is not ideal, I feel its an important part of security when staying and therfore should be included in the paid accommodation.

Hotel was excellent and most staff went above and beyond for everything

Reception staff were not so helpful. We had 2 small problems and one room request problem that we emailed months in advance to be told a rubbish answer on arrival. It was only two rooms close to each other.Not a big request i don't think. The other two smaller problems were just dismissed.

Great value and location right beside the port and bus routes to everywhere. Lovely pool area and friendly staff.

There was construction at the site at front of hotel so pool view rooms better for a while.

We only stayed here for one night but would definitely stay here again. Staff were fantastic , especially Daria on reception, she is definitely an asset for the Hotel. When we arrived our room wasn’t ready , so they upgraded us at no extra cost. The room they gave us was fantastic large L shaped balcony looking over the port. We had breakfast there too which, was lovely. Great selection of food catering for all tastes.

I think the only down side of staying here would be the fact there is no parking at the Hotel, we drove around and eventually found parking at the back of the Hotel however, during high season it might be more difficult to find somewhere.

Pre booking on line was excellent. Contact by email from reservations. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Freedom of movement and relaxing area within and outside the building. We have been to Benalmadina several times in recent years , we have never enjoyed anything to equal what we experienced in The Palm. Barstaff waiters and waitresses alike are obviously well trained in their presentation/ professionalism with an outstanding manner. We most certainly will return and we have already made our views well known to our friends here in Ireland. Thanks To All at Th Palm and especially one who is totally outstanding Barman/ Waiter. The property is in perfect location, rooms are okay small but clean and comfortable all you need for holiday,bathroom clean with plenty of hot water, only had breakfast but it was one of the better breakfast I’ve had abroad with plenty of choice, bar area was okay for a chilled drink,sometimes having to queue but not a problem, good swimming pool area and staff friendly,overall a first class place to stay.

The only downside was the mosquitos they were everywhere around the pool and chill out area ,and myself and others got lots of bites even using mosquito repellent, it stopped me using the pool area which was a pity, some zappers around the chill out area and spraying the edges around the pool would help.

Hotel was close to the Marina and main strip . It was clean , modern and the rooms were of a good standard. The bar and pool area were excellent and reasonably priced, if you’re not all inclusive. Staff were super helpful with all our enquiries and the ancillary staff gave us extra pillows clean towels etc with a smile. Food at the bar was excellent and good value for money, and the bar staff fun to communicate with . Air conditioning in the rooms and throughout the hotel was excellent, and the atmosphere pleasant .

There is some building work going on in the same street, so it can be noisy early in the morning. I complained and was moved to a different room straight away . There is a back exit to the Marina that we didn’t find until the last day. Therefore a small map given to every guest upon arrival showing the location of all the amenities would be really helpful . It is quite hilly which may be an issue for people with disabilities.

Review time for a beautiful hotel called Palmasol Hotel Located in the centre of Benalmádena only walking distance from Marina. Walking distance from main strip of Benalmádena & Torremolinos. This beautiful hotel has wonderful staff from at Reception to accommodation staff to service staff 10/10 Clean & proud This is a wonderful clean place to stay and staff so proud to keep it clean & beautiful. Entertainment Everyday Entertainment in the pool and event in the evening. I couldn't fault this gem

The location was perfect not to far from the airport and walking distance to everything around

The pool was shaded during the day, but this was down to the time of year. Also we Constantly got a smell coming from our bathroom and maintenance were very prompt to try to sort on our first night the issue was OK for 24 hours and then we needed to call maintenance again and this again solved the nasty smell which was beginning to come back before we checked out. The lovely ladies on reception were very apologetic and nothing was an issue for them to resolve.
