The hotel is in an excellent location - easy walking from the train station, the old town area and the main city area and congress centre. The Guggenheim is just across the river and to the right - very accessible. A main footbridge across the river is just outside the hotel making access to the city so convenient. The staff were super helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel has a cafe and restaurant on the ground floor, plus there are various eating places nearby. The foyer area is generous, with comfortable lounges and is spacious for groups to meet, for example. The room was very comfortable and very clean, a good sized bathroom and great hot water. The wifi was excellent.

Quite a few good things worth-highlighting: - Staff: Quality service. The staff members I encountered, including but not limited to Oksana (the Ukrainian girl), were superb in helping me out with dining options, getting around the city and booking bus tickets online. - Location: Beautifully quiet location. Comfortable walk to Guggenheim Museum, the Old Town, San Mamés Stadium. Personally I would prefer hotels in this location than those in the Old Town. - Package: Apparently the hotel has deals with Guggenheim Museum and as a hotel guest I enjoyed discount in museum ticket. - Liked the spacious bathroom.

Nothing major: on my arrival, I was not quite sure where the entrance was.

From the minute you walked into the hotel the staff were so friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice and cool as it was very hot in Bilbao during my stay. I didn't have breakfast included but booked it at reception as a bit cheaper than doing it on the morning. There was great choose and as buffet style so could fill up. The location was perfect. Everything was in walking distance and tram stop for the main bus and train station was the other side of the bridge.

The hotel staff was very polite and knowledgeable. They gave us good practical advice and helped us with everything. The location is great - near to the most remarkable places in the city. The room was the one I had chosen. It matched the description. The breakfast was very good - varied and tasty.

Actually there is not anything I did not like. The only thing I will do the next time I will book a twin room. It is a hotel I would like to stay again.

The hotel has an excellent selection of breakfast foods as well as a bar with pintxos for in-between mealtimes. We had breakfast daily and ate dinner there several times. Food was always good. The staff was unfailingly kind, helpful, and friendly. It is a great location. We walked everywhere and being next to the Zubizuri Bridge meant we were centrally located. The room was tight by American standards, but reasonable for Europe. I would have liked to have in-room coffee. However, we borrowed a "tea set" from the main desk and, because we had brought our own coffee, we could manage.

The staff behind reception were really friendly and helped with all my questions for the area. Changed my room so I could check in earlier too. I'm not a "foodie" but I had a 3 course meal in the hotel restaurant and again, the staff were great and the food was too. Would definitely stay here again.

I really can't fault the hotel or staff. So the only thing I'll say is that the gym was unavailable. Don't know why, maybe fixing something, but this really is nitpicking.

This is an attractive, modern hotel, in a great location, across the street from the pedestrian bridge. There is parking at a nearby underground garage, included in the price. There is a nice, informal cafe .

Our budget room was on an airshaft. For a terrific view of Bilbao, you should pay extra .If parking, make sure your stick shift skills are capable to navigate the garage , especially to exit. You have to stop on an incline to speak a message back to the hotel desk (a block away). Entering the garage, the stairs, elevator, driving out, all require talking into a speaker, for security.

Very easy to reach off the motorway and the parking lot was easily located with good help from the desk. Location was great in the middle of the Guggenheim. and the old town and directly across from the footbridge to cross the river. We chose a superior double and were pleased we did for the fresh air, light and french balcony The air conditioning was a bit disappointing with the overnight temperature 28. Quite uncomfortable for sleeping. On the last night was a cool change and the room cooled down considerably with the balcony door open. Another reason not to choose an interior room. Great coffee and croissant in the restaurant and there were many restaurants in the area.

The staff were very friendly and helpful from the Reception to Housekeeping. The room was very spacious and clean with plenty of wardrobe space and hangers. It was lovely having a balcony. Vending machines were provided on several floors which came in handy. WiFi was excellent. The location was really central and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, bars, the Guggenheim and transport links.

There were no coffee/tea facilities in the room though I did read that you could ask at Reception for tea facilities; I would have preferred this in the room already as it's usually standard. There was no room service menu although there was room service available. It would have been helpful had the options been outlined in the room.

Pretty and spacious room with a balcony that looked right over the river and the Zubizuri bridge. The location next to the river is great, just 10 minutes from the Guggenheim museum in one direction and 10 minutes from the old town and Pintxos in the other direction. Friendly staff gave good advice on weather, where to walk and taxis. A really nice place to stay and relax after a long trip around Northern Spain!

Shame there was no fridge in the room.
