Location, location, location! In less than ten steps, you’re on the sand in the heart of a terrific beach + boardwalk! And the front desk personnel were superbly courteous and helpful.

The dinner fare was broad in volume and variety but sadly shallow on taste. And the hotel’s complimentary potable water policy is absurdly out of line! One bottle in the room for ONLY THE FIRST NIGHT….and none available except for purchase at every meal—even with Full Board!!

The Hotel was great and made our stay in Las Palmas thoroughly enjoyable. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. My son left his bag in a cab without hesitation the reception staff tracked down the cab driver and the bag returned. The barstaff were friendly and informative. The pool on the roof was perfect, the water was slightly heated so even if it clouded over the water was warm enough. The 360 view perfect overlooking the ocean. The spa was clean and the gym again had an excellent view. Breakfast had the whole range of every breakfast conceivable. The Hotels location was perfect for the beach and to explore the city. All in all I would highly recommend this hotel. Big bathroom with powerful shower and big shower cubicle.

There was honestly nothing I didn't like which for me is rare.

stayed here many times the location and terrace are great but changes have been made not all good

towels are poor, too small, thin and only a small bath towel and hand towel each, frayed. Terrace bar closes much earlier than it used to and you can’t even get a sandwich or toastie there anymore, or in rooftop cafe, limited menu.

Great location right on the sea front, food varied and of good quality, very nice spa on the 9th floor with the sauna and whirlpool overlooking the ocean, massages of good quality, all staff very friendly except for one individual at the reception (perhaps this was just her poor English)

The hotel management might rethink the rather inconvenient (and non-hygienic) practice of making HB guests pay for drinks after EVERY single meal. At least, quests should be informed about this by the reception or restaurant staff to avoid misunderstandings. Anyway, I haven't experienced this lack of trust in any other hotel of this quality and price. Single room extremely small, but the bathroom was spacious :)

Swimming in the sea - I don’t mind the waves, which are constant, occasionally very big - good for swimming, snorkelling, sometimes surfing, abundant fish and other sea life. Not too deep. All the staff are kind and helpful, from reception (special thanks to Mesalina, a brilliant young woman) through waiters and beach attendants who put up sun beds and parasols. The location on the huge Playa de las Canteras is excellent and the breakfast and dinner buffets are exquisite, lots of fresh fruit and veg, delicious fish and meat grilled in front of you, and an abundant variety of international dishes. Great value for money.

Room cleaning is very superficial because only 2 cleaners per floor are supposed to clean 50-70 rooms - not their fault, it’s not feasible to clean and dust properly. The spa hours (10-18h) coincide with the time people can be on the beach - it would make more sense for the spa hours to open and close later. But even so, the lady managing the spa actually turns of the jets in the jacuzzi at 17.50, because she wants to close. Breakfast is from 7 to 9.30 - most people on holidays like to sleep a little longer than when they have to go to work in the morning.

The staff were very helpful.

The daily rental charge of €1.50 for the room safe. This was not charged on previous visits, I would prefer if they included it in the room rate. It means that when you go to your room, having checked in, you have to return to reception to pay for the safe and get a code to access it, Or even if they requested this payment at the time of checking into the hotel.

Our second year at this hotel and resort and we were as impressed as we were the first time. The hotel is smack bang near the beach and the sea so you hear that gentle lapping of the waves from your bed at night. Las Palmas is great and we love the old town with it's street flamenco guitarists and the sea front is spotlessly clean and the beach gets swept every morning bright and early. No rubbish, no fag ends, no idiots pissed up on holiday. Low key policing on bicicles is all that is needed. A true break from so many resorts that have been ruined by over tourism and away from the typical Brits abroad. We absolutely loved everything about this hotel, it's superb staff, excellent food, spotlessly clean and enjoyable. Thank you for a memorable holiday. We couldn't have asked for more.

There was nothing to dislike and I never heard or saw anybody complaining all holiday

Stunning reception area, incredibly helpful and friendly staff everywhere. The food options were fantastic, every palate catered for and excellent quality. i was spoilt for choice and totally over-indulged! The facilities are superb, as is the attention to detail. I was able to check in early, which I really appreciated, and on checking out, my luggage was stored securely and I was still able to enjoy the facilities.

Uncontrolled kids! I think that people with young children should be seated in a specific area for meals and perhaps, accommodated in one section of the hotel. Don't get me wrong, I'm a mother and grandmother, but I don't want a room next to a screaming toddler, nor try to enjoy a peaceful meal surrounded by indulged and vociferous children...

I can't recommend this hotel enough. I felt very welcome throughout my stay. Everything was easy and straightforward which made my holidays enjoyable and stress free. Customer service was exceptional from the beginning till the end. The reception staff organised a taxi to pick me up from the airport. I arrived at the hotel 2 hours before the check-in time and my room was ready and I could go straight in. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day and kept it very tidy. The restaurant and bar staff were very friendly. Breakfast and dinner were good with enough options to choose from. I'm lactose intolerant and didn't have any problems with finding the right options that suited my diet. There was lactose free milk at breakfast but the bar didn't have any for the coffee. Prices of the drinks were very reasonable. There's a small supermarket right next to the hotel if you want to get any snacks. The hotel is right at the beach front which is amazing. The promenade that goes along the beach is a nice walk with lots of bars and restaurants. Las Palmas is a great city with lots to do.

The amount of sun beds that the hotel provides is very limited and I could never get one. Also their section of the beach isn't private so you get other people taking up the space.
