You probably will not find another 3 star hotel in Madrid that offers what Jardines de Sabatini has to offer. The staff is almost uniformly excellent, the beds are comfy, the rooms/bathrooms are spacious and the mini kitchens are functional. Breakfast is good, and cleanliness is excellent. WiFi worked well and TV quality was excellent. Rooftop Terrace is excellent and offers some light food items and brunch on weekends, however, read below. Hotel location is very good, including proximity to restaurants, pedestrian only areas, the Royal Palace et al., parks, monuments, Metro stations and Principe Pio train station. There are various supermarkets within a block or so from the property and at least 3 pharmacies. Palace views are lovely, but try to get the rooms on the higher floors to minimize street noise and pollution-Cta. de S. Vicente is a noisy and extremely busy street, although the room terrace doors keep most of the noise out. The room furniture needs some updating, but this is a minor complaint.
We had an unfortunate incident with a rooftop Terrace brunch greeter, who unceremoniously evicted my wife and I from the Terrace after sitting there for 10 minutes and after we were told at check-in that guests had unlimited access to it. We never returned to the Terrace after this because this lady treated us as common intruders even after we told her we were guests, and embarrassed us in front of other patrons and guests. The incident kept us away from an enjoyable part of the property for over half of our two week stay and we almost moved to another hotel! There was simply no excuse for treating guests like that! For this reason alone, we are not giving this hotel a higher rating

Amazing apartment. Very clean and well furnished. It had cleaning products and complimentary tea/coffee which I don't tend to see in other accommodations. The staff were excellent and helpful. Ideal location. Within a very short walk of the Royal Palace and Temple Debod. There is also a bus stop a few yards from the accommodation for the 001 bus which I used to visit Prado Museum. I used the number 25 bus to travel to Casa De Campo to visit the zoo. Very convenient bus routes. A supermarket is located on the corner of the street. Would definitely stay again.

Location, Quiet, Safe & Secure, Staff, breakfast buffet was wonderful-lots of variety
The ability todo Laundry onsite was advertised but the accommodations & machines available were not functioning properly or in a convenient & safe location in hotel. Very disappointing as that was one thing we were looking for when we booked.

The room was very clean! It was fully equipped, specially the kitchen with everything needed for cooking. Fridge, stove, microwave, etc. They even had new fabric dishcloths! Among other things, check pictures! Which were threw away on checkout. Ample space. Excellent location easily accessible by bus (stop in front) and metro (400m). Principe Pio is the closest metro station, which is also an important train station and there are many bus connections as well. There's also a shopping mall in there. Terrace was nice! Everything was great! I will come back!
Nothing.

The hotel and our room were very clean and looked as they were recently renovated. Apartments are well positioned for families with kids thanks to several rooms, bathtub, black-out curtains, well-equipped kitchen and a table where the family can enjoy the dinner. The hotel is placed 5 minutes walk from the Royal Palace of Madrid, 5 minutes walk from Plaza de España with great kid's playground and nice Christmas atmosphere. Hotel has a rooftop terrace to enjoy the view of he Royal Palace of Madrid. Proximity to the parking and the discount offered there is also an advantage
Breakfasts are good for price/quality but are quite simple and offer the same set of products every day which is ok for 2-4 days of staying, but might become annoying if you stay longer

We arrived a bit early, around midday, we were given a room immediately without any fuss. Reception was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, comfortable and well sound-proofed from the street outside. A/C worked well even in Madrid's heatwave (40C+). The Royal Palace and the gardens are across the street. Plaza Espana (and the Metro) is just five minutes walk; Plaza Mayor and Puerto del Sol both about 15-20 minutes by any of numerous interesting ways. Check out La Mi Venta restaurant about 5 minutes walk away; many other good restaurants within 10 minutes as well. I would certainly consider to stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. On reflection, I rated the property a 9 because I can't say the property is "Exceptional" (limited facilities, after all it's apartosuites), but it's a very good 9 and it is certainly a 10 on value for money.

You are selecting this stay for the location, the views, and the hosts. First, the hosts were excellent with communication and friendliness. Upon check-in, Alex was so helpful with everything. Upon learning that our room reservation did not include a room with a view of the Royal Palace (likely Booking.com description is off), I asked him if something came available that he could alert me. Within an hour he called me to let me know there was a room available which had a decent view and changed the rooms. This was a great way to start off our trip! Alex also provided directions to and names for good (local-good) recommended restaurants for each meal. We tried them all and he was correcto! Very good indeed. Second, the views are of the Royal Palace and part of Plaza Espana. From our room (thank you Alex) we had a partial view of the palace and this hotel has a perfect view from the rooftop bar. By the way, this rooftop bar seemed to be a local on-trend hotspot as it was full of beautiful people getting their Instagram moments at sunset. As hotel guests, we did not have to wait in line and were sat at a table on the glass to enjoy the view like VIPs. Lastly, the location is walkable to everything. Of course the Royal Palace is across the street, but also most of tye attractions we visited and tours we joined. La Tablas Flamenco is 100 meters (highly recommend) and dinner at Dudua Restaurant (highly recommend) is next to La Tablas. We walked to the fashion district for shopping and felt very safe walking back with name brand bags in hand. In fact, the only taxi we needed was Prado Museum as it was a 30 min walk and we wanted to rest our legs after so many tours the day before. For the items to be aware of (not necessarily bad but be aware): Breakfast is decent although available at 7.30 so if you start early you may need to eat at one of the nearby bars which stay open all night. There is a coffee maker in the room however only decaf coffee.
Everything was wonderful

We selected this hotel mainly because of the kitchenette in the room, as our son is very picky on food so it was easier to just cook for him. Grocery shopping was pretty easy with a shop just 2mins walk away. The hotel is situated in a very central area, just a few minutes walk from Plaza de Espana and Gran Via. The staff was very polite and super helpful and was easy to communicate in english with them. Room was spacious with all the specified amenities, it was very clean and the housekeeping stuff was very polite too.
The only thing that was in our favour was the view from the room, but partly our fault as we did not ask for a room with a view on booking.

The apartment had everything one might need while staying somewhere, including an ironing board and a very well-equipped kitchen and bathroom. Breakfast is plentiful, with a variety of hot and cold dishes to choose from and is changing slightly day by day. Additionaly, there is a 24/7 reception desk which was terribly convenient for someone who was checking in at 2am. The location is perfect in between two underground stations each within 10 mins walking and also within walking distance of the city centre.
The only thing that might be distrubing you while staying here is the rain coming down on the sill outside of the window with quite an intesnse drumming sound. We had a room facing the backyard - it might not be happening on the other side of the building, but if you are a light sleeper (and you're coming when rain is expected), best inquire about it.

Good hotel. The room is big and spacious with a small kitchenette with cutlery, utensils and small fridge should you want to eat in your room. There is a lounge area with a small table, chairs if you need to open up your laptop and work. There is also a couch to lounge on. Our room opened up to a small balcony outside and you can watch people pass by and feel the weather before you get dressed. Our bathroom only had a shower which was great. Reception staff very friendly and they speak English. The hotel is central, right across the Royal Palace which you can also see from the roof top bar that has heaters for a winter evening while you have sundowners;) We did not book breakfast as we wanted to try different spots while we ventured in Madrid. Directly opposite the Palace there are cute sidewalk breakfast restaurants that we went to and another one down the road from the hotel. The room comes with complimentary bottled water and you can refill them from the water filter machine downstairs everyday. 20-30min drive to the airport and short Uber trips to get to central Madrid: Gran Via etc.
Nothing.
