While the hotel exudes charm and provides excellent service, the WiFi was inconsistent during my visit, which may be a concern for business travelers. Prices are above average, but the experience largely justifies the cost.

Interior design, soft bed and mattress, great shower and bathtub, breakfast room service was fast and good. We had the set dinner for 4 with friends and it was excellent. Parking was convenient and staff were very helpful and friendly. The treatment of guests is very personal and of good quality. Nice desk in the room. Complementary wine was appreciated.

It was too short due to our own schedule! :) Breakfast was not included, compare to other similarly priced hotels. Lovely key chain but easy to forget to return considering most hotels have key cards now. Not much room for more than one suitcase. All minor things, happy to return!

Location is fantastic, close to the best shopping district in Madrid as well as very high quality restaurants and bars. While there is plenty of public transport available, walking is the best way to get around and experience Salamanca and the wider neighbourhood. Fantastic rooms are a very good size and elegantly decorated - extremely comfortable beds.

The roof terrace is a great amenity and a lovely atmosphere. However, the service can be patchy at times, not always staff available to serve guests, on Sunday afternoon I went to the terrace and waited for service but after 30mins I had to give up. It would be great if they could add a buzzer/intercom/phone to let the hotel know that there are guests looking for service.

This hotel was the best we have stayed in Madrid. The room was beautiful with every amenity you could ask for. It was luxurious! We loved the roof top bar. It was an oasis of quiet and tranquility. The bartender had a nice selection of local wines and made delicious drinks. The staff at the front desk was exceptional. They made the whole experience. They helped us plan our day and gave us good tips for restaurants. They were kind, patient and went above and beyond for us. The breakfast was excellent. The coffee was perfectly made. I really cannot say enough about the outstanding quality of this hotel. We will only stay here from now on, as we frequently visit Madrid.

breakfast very good / location excellent - quiet at night - only 3 blocks from metro / safe area / close to excellent restaurants : clos + A'Barra ; both 1 star restaurants with astonishing kitches and sommeliers ( especially clos !!).. And off the record ; I had an issue with my creditcards : the staff was patient and understanding untill I managed to contact my bank and pay finally via money transfer ..Recieved a bottle of champagne as surprise ..private parking possibility ..you name it , they deliver..

The hotel is outstanding in all areas of service. Receptionists are very kind and all personnel is knowledgeable and attentive to all visitors to this hotel. The service in the restaurant and bar area is beyond outstanding. This level of knowledge and service in hospitality is practically lost everywhere in the world. Not here at this hotel! Congratulations for maintaining your high standards. It is necessary for our future and the next generations to come. The rooms are immaculate. The towels are of excellent thick high quality cotton. The bed is truly comfortable and maintain to the highest standards. The shower is very nice. All working in perfect conditions. We had dinner and the knowledgeable chefs and their recipe preparations shined in every bite and we highly perceived it by the extraordinary delicious food that gets to your heart. Excellent!

All was perfect!

Absolutely perfect stay for the family before Christmas, in a quiet but beautiful area of Madrid, within walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The staff are the friendliest people ever, and the manager Julian took extremely good care of us during our stay. The breakfast was excellent, the lobby was warm and inviting and the rooms were perfect. Our room had a hydromassage bath which was the best I've ever used. The bed was extremely comfortable.

The style of the hotel is super cosy, I liked the fireplace at the reception and coffee spot before the restaurant, very chic. Room decoration was perfect and relaxing, they offered a box of sweets on the bed which was cute. Bathroom design looks great and I enjoyed the shower products. Loved the size of the bed and comfy sheets.

View was not the best in my room, overlooking the street with other people from the building in front that could see you. They offer filtered water to guest which taste like bleach. I asked for bottled water and they brought a couple in my room which was nice. I ordered a desert I did not like as not as described on the menu so I sent back, they charged it to me. When I asked they removed it but I had to ask. I asked the hotel to make a reservation at Amazonico one night, they said they did and when I showed up the restaurant could not find my reservation from my name or from the hotel name. Not a lot of "ambiance" in this street. Hotel restaurant was empty although chef was good.
