I recently stayed at 7room Select Sol and I couldn't be more satisfied with my experience! The hotel is in an ideal location, just a short walk from the main attractions(Palacio Réal de Madrid and Plaza Mayor) and with excellent public transport links(Métro Opéra and Sol). The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-furnished. The free Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout my stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible, also offering me the possibility to upgrade my room at no additional cost." In conclusion, I highly recommend room Select Sol to anyone visiting Madrid and if I were to return to Madrid, this hotel would be my first choice.

We thought the staff were really lovely and friendly and gave us advice about a good view for sunset. They were very helpful allowing us to store our bags until we needed to leave for the airport. We also had a room upgrade whivh was much appreciated. The room was modern, clean and in a very good location. The coffee bar downstairs was very good too and had a very cute seating area where we could enjoy a quick breakfast from the coffee shop. Really recommend staying here.

The aircon didn’t seem to be working but it didn’t bother us so we didn’t mention it to the staff.

Overall my wife and I were very happy with our stay at SelectSol. The location was perfect being very close the the Opera Metro station, easy walking distance to Plaza Sol and the impressive Palacio Real. The room was fine and functional. The air con was quiet and effective and very easy to adjust. Staff were pleasant and helpful.

Our only criticism is the poor positioning of the door to the toilet. It was so close to the toilet itself that standing up in the toilet cubicle with the door closed was almost impossible. It was a basic design flaw that should have been noted when the room layout was decided on, It is the only factor that negatively affected our overall rating.

The location was amazing, in the city center. A lot of places to get food and groceries nearby. The main attractions were close by. The room was cozy. We had everything we needed to feel comfortable and enjoy the city. Sorina was amazing, she helped us with the check in and check out. She also gave us some tips and tricks about visiting the city. They also have a breakfast offer that was very helpful in the morning before exploring Madrid. The room is well equipped, it has a nice usage of space, it s really clean and modern looking.

The room is cozy and has everything you need. A bit of head up about the shower, it only had a big showerhead above and u can only use that one to wash yourself. It was a big inconvenience, just took us by surprise.

The room is very well located, almost everything you will want to do is at walking distance. The staff are super nice, smiling and friendly and both room and commons were sparkling clean. Breakfast is fair for the price you get it at, the coffee is of excellent quality. We really regret not buying grains to bring home. Even better that you can get breakfast until 11am, but if you miss it, there's several good places around. We would definitely come back.

The room is tiny, but so nicely decorated, clean and smartly arranged that you won't really notice - especially is you only go to wash and sleep, like we did. It's really fine for a short stay. A family might not be well accommodated, but for a couple it's ok. You might find it expensive but honestly it was the cheapest we found - mind you, we booked it 3 months before!

Bed was great size and comfort (and extra pillows were big plus!) Shower was clean and well maintained, and shower had great pressure. Location was perfect, walking distance to so many things in Madrid. Public transport to the hotel was very manageable from airport. Staff were very friendly and helpful, offering suggestions for local activities. Hotel upgraded our room to a balcony room which opened up onto the street which I loved!

Nothing we didn't like! The only thing we would caution for larger-sized/taller people would be the toilet room size - door closed quite close to knees.

The location is so central. The rooms are designed beautifully, great shower, comfy bed and the staff are so helpful. It felt cosy, unpretentious but stylish and I felt safe and comfortable. I'll definitely stay here when I'm back in Madrid!

There's no cupboard, there's a hanging rail and a shoe unit you could use. I was only there for 2 nights, but if I were staying longer, I'd prefer a cupboard. I was a solo traveller, I imagine with 2 people it could get a little tight but again it's all down to the individual.

We liked the location and the room too for cleanliness together with an excellent staff at the "weird" reception (a little desk inside a bar hall).

I did not like at all the bathroom that is not a room inside the bedroom, it's instead an area inside the bedroom separated by the bed area (and even without a bidet!) with only 2 panels for shower and WC. One more thing is the absence of a minimum wardrobe inside the room and drawers too and NO chairs at all. I suggest to provide them all; I'm scared that for the bathroom complain you should only re-plan and design those rooms, so actually it's not affordable. To be honest you should have better described and showed with pictures the bathroom area, by saying it's not a separated room inside the bedroom.

Location location location! In the center of city, close to all major attractions and good restaurants, and only 20-30min away from the airport by taxi. Facilities are quite new and clean. VERY NICE AND WELCOMING AND HELPFUL STAFF, will need to give a special mention to Fabrizio and Sorina, cheerful and helpful front desk staff, and the front desk is 24-hr - very convenient especially after a long tiring international trip from the airport.

the shower is built with glass walls and can be quite see-through during shower time so it’s a bit awkward traveling with a friend
