The breakfast was fine on the whole except that it was surprising and dispapointing to note that the hotel didn't really have a kitchen as such or it was so limited in what could be done there that the staff could not even russle up an omelette although somehow they managed to do us fried eggs! The location was excellent, it was in the heart of the centre of Madrid with most attarctions within walking distance and shops and restaurants were literally on the door step. The staff were always friendly and welcoming.

I thought it was misleading to say that the hotel provided room service. Perahps it was my naivety but i understood that to mean that the hotel had its own kitcen and the meals were cooked on the premises and served on proper plates and cutlery. But what transpired is that the hote had an arrangement with a local restaurant which basically provided a take away service with food served in paper boxes and plastic cutlery. Not what I would expect from a 4 * hotel. it didnt affect the quality of our stay overall as we only used this "room service" once as we arrived late. On top of that it was excessively expensive. Also beware that the hotel safe operates with a 4 digit passcode and not 6 as stated in the instructions. It took a while to figutre that one out!

The location just off Plaza Santo Domingo and Plaza Callao is super convenient. The hotel is in a tree-lined street with lots of restaurants with sidewalk terraces. Two different metro lines are just around the corner. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room decoration was very charming, and the space was optimised well.

There was no desk in the room, which is problematic for business travellers. Nor is there a common space with seats or desks. When I asked about this, the staff did tell me they were willing to clear one of the tables in the breakfast room so I could work there, which is very nice, but not extremely convenient.

Location, location, location! Great access to central Madrid from the hotel. Great vibe in the area. Lots of restaurants, shops and the Palace for example is only a 10 minute walk away. The bed was very comfy and the shower was always hot and powerful. Plus large bath sheets rather than those small towels that cover nothing! Big towels are appreciated! :-) I was fortunate enough to have a sun terrace and it was amazing to have that outside space which I used every afternoon after my meetings/conference. Lovely view of the Palace and the rooftops of Madrid. The staff were very helpful and attentive.

The room size was small but that was the sacrifice that was made to have the sun terrace. For a lone traveller it was sufficient. Also a full length wardrobe would be more helpful as couldn't hang my dresses properly, they had to hang out of the front. For some this would not be an issue.

The location couldn’t have been better, very easy to access everywhere on foot. The secure car park was perfect for our needs, we locked up the car and didn’t move it for our entire stay. The bed was very comfortable with sufficient pillows. The bathroom was well designed, the water pressure in the shower was amazing and the toiletries provided were good quality. Slippers were also provided which was nice as the bathroom floor was quite cold. The air conditioning was very efficient both hot and cold. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good with a good selection of food available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return if we were ever in Madrid again.

The bathroom door was glass which gave virtually no privacy. we actually hung the top cover from our bed over the door but perhaps other, younger people may not mind this. Whilst there is a coffee machine in the room we would have preferred a kettle so we could have made a cup of tea and a small fridge would have been nice to keep some milk or cold drinks in but neither of these things affected the enjoyment of our stay.

The room was really nice, albeit smaller than a usual suite, but in the centre of a European capital city it's understandable. We loved the room and it had a nice view of the street as well. Really comfy large bed and big Smeg fridge, some reviews said there wasn't one but I think you only get them in the junior suites. The bathroom was a nice size with a lovely shower. Breakfast room is tiny, so I went towards the end of the breakfast times to make sure I didn't have to wait. The food was really nice and the team preparing breakfast are lovely, they work so hard and are dealing with several requests at once from different tables, but doing it all with a smile lol very patient. Everyone working at the hotel was very nice and helpful.

The glass bathroom door that doesn't shut... Is annoying haha. It's nicer to have some privacy when you go to the toilet so I don't understand the design choice. It's like a very inexperienced person designed it. I almost cancelled the hotel when I found out about this because I just really prefer to be able to shut a bathroom door. For this reason I wouldn't stay here again. Also you have to make sure you switch off the shower and mirror lights, as the timer doesn't switch those off. The main bathroom light is on a sensor and it is a bit weird and annoying but it was bearable.

There could have been more breakfast options, as it was very basic. It would have been nice to see some vegetarian options or even gluten-free options.

I had an operation in Madrid and was unable to go for breakfast for 3 days. My husband asked the staff if he could take my breakfast to our room, but they didn't let him, saying it was against their policy. So he had to buy me breakfast from nearby restaurants and bring it for me. I feel they should have been a little more accommodating, given my present circumstances.

The location was excellent, just off the extremely busy main street, this hotel is on a side street with mainly service and delivery vehicles. It becomes very quiet at night . Restaurants are only feet away. The people working there were wonderful. They can call a taxi for you, right to the door. Breakfast was very nice, in a lovely room with white tablecloths.

Our room was a little small in the bathroom. Not handicapped friendly. The television is only in Spanish, in case you want to look at it at night.

The location is very good. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel is new and clean, with a good bathroom, bed and television. The breakfast is good. The service was also great. The cost benefit is fair.

Personally, it's not my favorite decoration, as there is carpet and wallpaper. However, it is a stylish and very clean hotel. So, it was great. The room is small, but sufficient. I believe that the availability of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers instead of small packaging would improve the stay.

The hotel is very well-located, clean and tidy. The hotel street is vibrant and lively during the evening, and facilities are open until late. Close to several metro stations. Breakfast is good and includes some fruits, eggs, jamon, pastries and sweets.

This is a bit bizarre, but the bathroom door is see-through, which means that when you go to the toilet, your partner could see you.

The beds are comfortable. The room is soundproof. The decor is fantastic. The small size of the room is very well utilized. The location is fantastic. The staff is attentive, helpful and friendly, I asked them many questions throughout my stay and they were happy to assist and suggest great advice. The towels were changed for clean ones every day. Nice small espresso machine in the room. The flow of hot water in the shower is generous.

Maybe just bring your preferred brand of toiletries if you need good quality products.
