Hostel Main St is just soo comfortable. Lovely bed ,good sized room ( we were upgraded into a larger room) great shower in a small but comfortable bathroom. There us aur cond if needed but it wasn't really needed for our stay. The Hostel is in a great location within walking distance of most of the main tourist spots and near to good restaurants and bars on Grand Via and nearby streets. It was easy to get to from the airport by metro and also easy to get taxis if needed. It was good value compared to nearby hotels and just what we needed. Although Gran Via is busy and can be noisy at night we weren't disturbed because we were above it all. Staff couldn't do enough for us. Would recommend yo anyone and hope to be back.

All in all, our stay was comfortable. The location was great in a walking distance from all attractions. The area is very lively with lots of restaurants, cafes and shopping centers. The room was clean and convenient for our short stay. The room size was rather small but sufficient for a short stay. The bathroom was small but clean. It could need some renovation.

. The price was a bit high considering the room size and facilities but still in line with the price of other accommodations in that area.

This hotel was great! it is located close to many different metro lines, the rooms are spacious, however the bathroom is very small, but this is not an issue for me. The bed was comfortable, staff was friendly and helpful! The bed was very comfortable and AC was great! Wifi worked very well too! It was very quiet and you forget you are in Grand Via!

The location was good, the room was very clean and the hostal staff was very friendly. He explained everything very gently and gives us some goodies for the arrive (like coffee and tea). The bed was comfy and the isolation was perfect.

- The bathroom. For a plus size person, it's gonna be very uncomfortable. The shower and the toiler are very close together. For me, both of them were very tight and have almost cero space to move :( - The hairdryer was not working u.u

Perfect location on the main section of town with eateries and places to walk to everywhere The place was on the fifth floor and quiet and felt very secure

The staff were amazing and very helpful. The room was lovely; a nice view (interior room I think). The room was clean and perfect for taking breaks when exploring Madrid! Also the air conditioning and mini-fridge were so helpful :)

The only thing that I would "warn" future travelers is how to get into the hotel. The location is great, on one of the main streets and very walkable to almost everything in central Madrid. But to get into the hotel, you go through two sets of door, then either take five flights of stairs or the elevator, which is very small! Luckily it worked perfectly fine and honestly was not an issue for me, but just a heads up!

Rosa and Carmen were the most helpful staff in any accommodation that I have ever experienced. They were so friendly and went out of their way to help, including giving me a card for the metro on arrival and finding a needle and thread when I lost a button of my work jacket. The room was so clean and very comfortable. My room overlooked a side street, just back from Gran Via. Gran Via can be noisy, but the room was pretty quiet. The location is excellent, in terms of walking distance to so many of the attractions and right on the doorstep of key metro stops.

The shower was out of hot water once (in my 4 day stay). I think the guests in neighbouring rooms must have just had their showers just before me.
