Lovely room ,comfortable and great location for access to Grsn Via, Sol, Palace and metro.

Disappointed that pool small ,not relaxing area at all.Cramped converted into bar in evening with movable floor.

The hotel's location was perfect- right in the centre of the city, but away from all major tourist traps. Right next to a metro station and one of the 'main roads' of shops/ attractions. All common tourist attractions were in a short walk/ train ride away which was perfect. The hotel even had a pool and rooftop bar which was great to use.

The walls were very thin- I could hear people walking past the room at night (even though they were only talking at a normal volume). One side of the hotel is also noticeably older/ more run down than the other; our other guests were in this side of the hotel and it didnt feel as welcoming as the other half I was staying in

Central location to everywhere... Great rooftop area to relax and take in the views . Staff were very friendly and were helpful to us. Good breakfast every day... Very good cleaning staff, room always done well when we had breakfast or when we had been out.

Slightly dark room, but obviously quieter being near the gardens. 420... The only annoying bit but not worth changing rooms really was the shower kept falling as not firm enough ...it had been sort of repaired.. And one unclean area needs a clean is by the other side of the shower screen on the bath ..

Nice basic room with comfortable bed. Located in the very city center just 1min walk from Gran Via (main street) and Callao. The hotel building is located just next to a metro entrance which was super convenient. A grocery store was located just on the other side of the street. I did not use breakfast options so cannot judge here.

Hair dryer in my room (213) was so loud that I am sure it could wake up all neighbours (simple device but needs replacing!). Wifi was slow.

The hotel was very comfortable, nice views friendly and helpful staff. Lovely spacious room and very comfortable bed and not noisy at all. Our room had a balcony with a good view. Great location with plenty of restaurants and cafe/bars to sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere of Madrid. There's a roof terrace with a restaurant and also a small swimming pool.

Just a small quibble the self service coffee in the lobby is a Starbucks machine. Pity it's not a Spanish coffee or a better quality. I would expect a better name than Starbucks for this class hotel

The location was very central around the corner to Gran Via, which is main shopping / Tourist area, and just a few mins walk off that to all the squares. The hotel itself is very nice to look at. The staff were were amazing and could not do enough for us. Reception amazing and had a little cafe. There is a rooftop bar with a pool, but pool were not open when we were there. Drink a bit expensive, but I suppose it is 4 stars, and that's what you pay.. room was clean and had ensuite a mini fridge and hairdryer but was very small and dark as we were looking out at their hanging garden. There was a supermarket just beside hotel which had a lovely bakery which you could get pastries in morning if you were room only basis. There was a few cafes also across the road that did breakfasts

Although nothing wrong with room they are very dark and the ones in the back are very small. would advise to pick a room with a view and pay a bit more. There was no kettle in the room which I would of liked as we went room only basis. Also I would bring my own hairdryer as the one in bathroom not great

How convenient the area was and such a central location to almost everything in the city.

There was some works going on in the hotel in a room near our room and works started at 9am in the morning which was quite loud. We didn't mind as we are always up early on holidays but feel staff should have mentioned it in advance upon our arrival. Otherwise everything else was absolutely perfect.

Location was perfect next to metro and easy walking distance to many main attractions Room was just right for a one night stay over looking the vertical garden wall We did pay a little extra for this room on checkin but well worth it. The staff at reception were most welcoming. All in a good choice

The swimming pool was not open till June as I would have liked to try we knew this before travelling so no surprise

Rooftop pool is fabulous nit many beds but there's chairs to sit on in the sun. Great location 8 min walk to la plaza mayor. Rooms were great value for the location.

The price for drink is ridiculous. Its 4.50 for a coke and 13 or 14e for a vodka or gin. So 18.50 for a vodka and Coke. Everywhere in Madrid is expensive for food and drink but this was price gouging.

The hotel is well located in the City Center and walking distance to Retiro Park (40 mins or so) but I was especially impressed with how the room was decorated. it was a small room but very nicely appointed with fun wall paper and great colors. the bathroom was updated and modern and everything worked well!

The first night I didn’t hear anyone next to me. But the second night I realized that the rooms are not well insulated from each other and I could hear the shower running in the morning and general noise from the room next door.
