- Beautiful, super clean and comfortable. - Excellent location that is slightly outside the centre but within about 20mins walk to the centre - No single-use plastic in the room and I didn't see any at breakfast nor anywhere else in the hotel, which is excellent. - Room I had (307) was quiet. Can't remember if rooms are soundproofed but l didn't hear anything during my stay. - Perfect for those who like to walk everywhere. I felt comfortable walking back to the hotel late at night too. - Friendly and helpful staff - Good breakfast - Kettle available on request - Good choice of supermarkets nearby - The bus stop for the airport is only about 5mins walk and the cost at the time I was there was about €5

The hotel was well designed, aesthetically very pleasing, and located in a quiet neighbourhood that was within easy walking distance to supermarkets, stores and the city center. The staff were friendly and attentive!

The room door wasn't great at keeping out the sounds from the common corridor - of people talking, of other doors closing, and of the cleaner vacuuming outside. The two wooden window panels did not close and fasten properly, leaving a gap through which the morning sun shone in and directly on my face - this was easily solved by sleeping in the opposite direction, but that meant that my head was directly below the wall-mounted TV set. This was in room 110.

Stayed here as a couple and we were so happy with the HM Balanguera! The hotel has a lovely vibe and the staff were incredible. The room was airy and comfortable and the facilities were great - the rooftop was a great addition and was ideal for a few hours sunbathing. The pool was cold and small but was really nice for a dip to cool off after a hot day. For the price I think the hotel is fantastic. Breakfast was really tasty and there was a good selection. Location worked for us as we like the walk. It was still only around 15 mins to the front, the old town or Santa Catalina.

The street was quite noisy in the morning. And it didn’t bother us but it is quite far out if you don’t like walking.

I loved this so much. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, the bed was comfortable, the little rooftop pool area is cute (and honestly all I needed in an urban location), breakfast was good - but most of all, I absolutely adore the design. The whole place feels so mediterranean and laid back, and really well designed and thoughtful to the last detail. Will definitely be back!

The breakfast was nice, and the area is very comfy ans pretty. However I missed a non dairy milk alternative, and organic choices would have been great.

The atmosphere and decoration of the place were really nice. We liked the bed and the way the bedroom was designed.

We stayed for 2 nights and realized after the first night that the TV had a built-in camera, which felt very weird and offsetting. It felt like you could be watched at any time so we had to cover it up. An AC was also definitely missing as the heat could be felt in the room. For the amount of money we spent, I think breakfast could’ve been included as well.

Beautifully presented, light and airy. Smelt amazing and the facilities where just what we expected. Roof terrace is perfect for those who prefer city breaks but still want to sunbathe/ chill by the pool. The staff were incredibly helpful booking taxis for us and even tracking down my partners phone after he left it in a taxi.

Location is in quite out of the centre but there was a free bus that took us to the port and taxis only cost about 8€.

Very friendly staff, really willing to help. Nice rooms with a wide range of complementary drinks in the minibar. Nice rooftop terrace with pool.

The pool is smaller than it looks on picture, don’t expect to have a proper swim, more of a big bath. Construction work took place in the hotel from 9am during weekdays, including drilling in the wall next door. It would have been appreciated for them to start later in the day, or at least inform us. Some rooms are directed towards the main avenue, which can be noisy at times. Make sure to ask for a room in the back if you are noise sensitive.

Facilities are amazing , comfortable , beautiful and clean .The location is very well connected to city centre, it’s walkable and easily reachable by bike or bus . Quiet area , perfect for leisure . Staff is very welcoming, especially the girl whose name started on Ale , I think , she was on reception and was very helpful and professional , with empathy. Breakfast was delicious. Big recommendation!

Location is a bit out of the center, but in 12 minutes by foot you are in a great street C. de la Fabrica with lots of restaurants and bars. Take a taxi if you do not want to walk. Breakfast is great, rooms are spacious and modern design.

The pool is more a big bathtub and was not very clean. But great views over the city. Parking is not easy, but if you find a spot it's mostly for free.

Overall a good experience. This was a last minute booking so just took the room without thinking. In hindsight would probably have gone for a bigger room if it had been available. The room itself was fine, quiet and comfortable, if a little sparse. Breakfast was good but the choice was limited and it got a bit repetitive. The hotel is located about 15 minutes (walking) from the centre. Not the classiest part of town, but it felt safe nonetheless. 15 minute taxi journey from the airport (traffic permitting).

The bathroom setup. The toilet and shower are located in the main room as opposed to being in a separate bathroom. You need to be really comfortable with the person you're sharing with. Breakfast options, if you're staying for more than two or three days you'll get quite fed up of the lack of choice
