Very nice and beautiful 5 star hotel, definitely worth its price. We were staying in better double rooms, next to each other, which was nice as we were there with another friends couple. Clean, spacious and beautiful rooms, attentive staff, very nice and wide breakfast choice, everyday you could find something new, possibility both to order from menu and to choose anything from the buffet. Very nice surroundings, few bars to spend time, nice pool, complimentary smoothies during the day. Very good location.

Some of furniture is already out of date, or will need replacement soon. It was strange and a bit funny for us, that beds were on wheels and once you sit on it rolls If you can, I would recommend to choose room with pool view, not with city view, because its just in the other building, so not worth it. During the check in we were asking about the breakfast, but nobody properly explained to us that its not only the buffet, but also separate menu, so we had to fugure it out by outselfs in the middle of our stay, that we have a much wider range of choise.

The beautiful architecture, it’s ambience and the lovely gardens and surrounds. The location is fantastic with the town a short walk away and the amazing park opposite .

I didn’t like that you had to pay for Padel, the extra spa costs and that there were often no seats in the sun around the pool. I didn’t like that people put towels on lounges to reserve them yet they weren’t there. Also some people left the pool and left their towels on the lounges so you could not tell if they were being used or not. We also didn’t like that we were not given any information about the restaurants we left to find out for ourselves There was no incentive for us to eat there and the restaurant seemed to hardly have anyone in it every time we walked past.

Everything is how you see on pictures - fabulous, spotless, 5* experience all the way. Starting from the location just across the fabulous Garcia Sanabria park Rooms are clean, comfortable and very well maintained. Perfect yard with the bar, restaurant, swimming pool, gym and spa, very pleasant to stay around, relaxed, easy going and very professional personnel l maintaining very high hotel standards. Every single request was full filled with ease, no matter what it was. Food selection during breakfast is excellent and the dinner in Mencey restaurant is superb! I can easily say that, if you go for a half board, you won’t regret it - there is no way to have a meal matching the fabulous quality of Mencey restaurant anywhere in the city. Snacks and cocktails at the pool bar are also great. There are occasional fresh juice circling around at no charge. During the breakfast also, very convenient. Hotel was so kind to make us lunch packages due to early check out.

The whole plastic free concept is a fabulous idea, and also the fact there are water machines on each floor. Better instructions to find and use water machines from the start would be great. Sauna was a bit colder than supposed. Perhaps spa should be included without a 20 EUR charge, but the spa advance booking is a good idea.

Breakfast was very good - pool was also very good- the staff was very helpful and friendly.

I upgraded my room on arrival and expected more from the room. The shower was very small for a 5 star hotel.

Several things aren’t up to a 5*: items need urgent renovation (carpet in corridors, bathtub, balustrades), some breakfast products are of lower quality (terrible coffee, industrial pastries). Lady at check-in and check-out wanted to charge 30€ more for dinner for no reason and wasn’t obliging.

Everything was great. The only complain is that the Cafeteria and pool opens at 10am, which I find I bit late.

The old and smelling carpet on the hotel corridor . I would recommend to be changed, it doesn't fit with a 5 star hotel. Also, the food in the restaurant don't meet our expectation .Breakfest with could omelette and the wellington steak not in the menu , but recommended by a waiter, was done with the same meet served one day before. Changing the buffe dinner to a "a la carte dinner" gave us the opportunity to ask for a refund and they accepted . Lucky we discovered the Bombay Babu indian restaurant just across the street which was fabulous. The car parking is 10 Euro a day and 20 Euro one spa entry which is not written nowhere with not child permission to entry. Overall I can't give 5 star to this hotel they need to improve .

We were booked for dinner, bed and breakfast, but wished we had not gone for "dinner". It was an unchanging "a la carte" menu, and few dishes met our tastes. There was no printed wine list and they were expnsively priced. All this contrasted with excellent meals we had in the town which were based on "raciones" rather than full meals. There were no English language TV channels.

The stay at this hotel made our visit to Santa Cruz special. The hotel is located close to a beautiful park. The views from the hotel on the mountains and the city by night are amazing. I am happy we upgraded to a room with a garden view terrace, as the garden is something unique, with lots of trees, vegetation and even a turtle pool. The breakfast buffet, with a wide variety to choose from, and provided with fresh orange juice and fresh made smoothies, and with the option to sit outside under a palm tree, was a total experience. There is a very nice swimming pool, big, with long hours of sun and plenty of hammocks. The decoration is simple, elegant and classy, while keeping the style of the old building.

I have nothing to say here. Everything was perfect.
