Good stopping point heading north to ferries. Very clean and huge beds. Good food with several options. Reasonable prices at the bar. We had a balcony which, although overlooked a busy road, was in full sun all day. Nice sun trap garden at the back. Parking right outside the door. Good wifi. It's about 20 minutes' walk to the old town which is beautiful. We have stopped here before but didn't think to visit the old town as we forgot they open up again late afternoon until 10pm. Do visit if you can. A really good stopover.

Fridge in room never stopped buzzing. Easily sorted.....unplug it at bedtime!

great location, easy to get to, loads free secure parking, can walk / drive into salamanca, lots of fastfood and cheap fuel nearby. huge room, extremely clean, strong hot shower, retro wall hairdryer which i couldn't stop playing with, really helpful staff. cleaning staff really lovely and friendly.

for the light sleepers, the wooden doors don't have soft closures and make a heck of a noise when they close. i forgot my ear plugs and was woken a lot in the morning. walls are a little thin so can hear room next door and cleaners in morning. all good with earplugs though and proper black out blinds so good sleep.

an extremely last minute booking (cpl hours) so lucky they had availability close to where i was. huge amount of parking which was safe despite having a car full of stuff, really easy to find, close to cheap fuel stops and Leroy Merlin, my favourite DIY store :) bedroom was massive and quiet with black-out blinds so i had a great night's sleep. bathroom was huge and spotless, great retro hairdryer on the wall to play with. check in staff really friendly and patient with my attempt at speaking portuguese, being terrible at spanish. would very happily stay here again. ordered a quick coffee in morning which i took straight back to room whilst packing and cleaner helped me with the door and a big smile. didn't try food or any other facilities.

This was our second stopover on our way to Santander. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful. We slept really well. The room was clean. The air con worked very well, especially in the 30 degrees+. There was a fridge with bottles of water which we really appreciated. The garden area was open which was lovely! The menu of the day was good costing 15 euros which was an amazing price! The added bonus: large TV to watch England win 2-1 in the semi finals! We will be back! Thank you all! Highly recommend!

Fantastic service and we had an evening meal for €15 was very good value for money and excellent. All the staff were friendly and helpful and above all they allow dogs to stay in your room for free. Garden and restaurant area is really pretty and a lovely surprise and the addition of a swimming pool just tops it off, so nice to have a refreshing dip after our long journey. I totally recommend this hotel, it's great value for money.

For anyone who doesn't like walking, it's a little outside the historic area but obviously that's reflected in the price. However we love walking and enjoyed the walk along the river and through the park to get there.

The hotel was situated on the edge of Salamanca. An excellent continental breakfast was served for Euros6. There was plenty of parking outside the hotel for our car . The Cathedral ,Roman Bridge and the town were within walking distance.. The room was comfortable with a balcony. The hotel was dog friendly. and next door to an Aldi supermarket.. The staff were friendly and helpful.

For us as international travellers we would have liked one or two English speaking channels on the TV.

Rooms were clean and tidy and well equipped for the price. The beds were very comfortable and it was very quiet given the location. The garden and pool area was very nice and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. The waiter was very helpful and nice despite the language barrier! The hotel was much better inside and at the back than it looked from the outside. Dogs allowed with no extra charge. Excellent value for money.

This is a good hotel that met all our needs: it was affordable, comfortable and located conveniently to be able to reach Salamanca on foot. The bonus thing that we didn't expect was that the hotel was very close to many shops, shopping malls, restaurants etc. So we could do our shopping and go out for dinner in a nearby mall in the evenings when we didn't want to venture far away from the accommodation.

The hotel could be signalized and marked better and clearer because it was not easy to notice it and we did some driving around before spotting it finally.

Location brilliant, room spacious ,clean and comfortable, food on terrace excellent, bar manager was a star, didn’t speak much English but he worked hard to translate and was fantastic and a credit to the hotel - we will stay here again on our travels without doubt! Well done all😃

Hard to find anything to dislike- don’t be put off with the outside- maybe could do with a fresh coat of paint to brighten the outside up but otherwise this hotel is fantastic and great value for money

This was a hotel I chose as an overnight stay to break up a long journey. The hotel was clean and the rooms very comfortable and spacious. My family dined at the restaurant in the evening and found the food to be very good quality and served by friendly staff who wanted to please. We also decided to book breakfast in the morning and although it was only a basic selection , all the food was of good quality and cost only 6 euros per person!! The hotel also has other facilities that we didn't use such as a spa and small swimming pool. The location had free off road parking at the front of the hotel and was very close to the main motorway so was ideal. It was great value for money and I would definitely stay there again.

The shower pressure was so good that the base unit couldn't hold the shower head on full pressure.
