I loved the location and the style of the hotel. I booked a small double room on the third floor and had a lovely room. I was traveling alone but I think the room will work for a couple as well, although it might be a bit small. The room was clean, and all the ben linen felt new and expensive. The bed was very comfortable. The reception is maned 24/7 so even though I arrived very late because of a delayed flight the check in process was very easy and fast. The location of the hotel is excellent! Gamla Stan itself is very beautiful and worth a few walks, but all the other museums and attractions are at a walking distance as well. Also, as a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe at the area of the hotel. Also worth mentioning, the hotel decor is very cozy, antique and romantic.

There was no kettle in the room. There were tea and coffee facilities at the entrance, but it wasn't as convenient to walk down for every cup of tea - and because the weather was quite chilly, I prepared a lot of cups. Also, there is a watch tower nearby that chimes every half an hour, it didn't bother me as much, but be aware of that if you are sensitive to noise.

The decor is quirky and charming. The sauna/spa is an outstanding feature - you get to have it all to yourself or small party. (It was a great way to warm up at the end of a day out in the cold and to relax before dinner or before going to bed). The location in Gamla Stan is very central and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. We only took a cab to and from Stockholm Central Station because it was more convenient when we had luggage, but even that distance is walkable and pleasant. There are many interesting restaurants, cafes, and pubs within a stone’s throw from the hotel and Gamla Stan is a romantic, old world location that added a great atmosphere to our stay. The hotel staff was incredibly kind and helpful with directions and recommendations for things to do, see, and eat in town. We always looked forward to chatting with one of them (Zara) who we quickly started to see as our new friend in Stockholm. The breakfast selections were tasty (try the yogurt to see what I mean) and one could be very happy with them, but we craved pastries from Bröd & Salt and Fabrique every day and ended up doubling up on our breakfast calories.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, and that applies to quite a number of people, especially at the front desk. The room was comfortable and had character, and also good lighting, which I don't always find available in hotels for reading at night. We were a short walk from several restaurants we liked. The tables out front were great for a pizza and drink or just for people-watching and enjoying the atmosphere.

Nothing worth mentioning. We had no actual window, just a skylight, as we were on the fourth floor, but that couldn't be helped, and the room was quiet.

Near-perfect location in old town ( if you don’t mind the church bells ringing through the night…?), lovely and tasteful northern folkloric decor, decent breakfast selection including vegan options, which is great, though disappointingly little fruit… and had to pay extra for a decaffeinated espresso.

Our main disappointment had to do with the bathtub-shower maintenance. Our drain was clogged with an excessive ( and disgusting) amount of hair and consequently did not drain well, which made the surface slippery and soapy for the next person. We requested it be addressed asap but no one ever came to fix the issue. As well, a rather narrow tub for a large adult. Also was charged extra for my morning decaf coffee…🫤 Lastly, it’s worth mentioning that much as I love the sound of church bells, those from the nearby main cathedral ring through the night… which is problematic if you’re a light sleeper. It meant keeping our windows shut at night.

This hotel is very charming, with décor unlike anywhere we've stayed before. Our room (#44) was great, with skylights that opened for fresh air and light, and open beams that passed through a bench that ran along the outside wall. The room was surprisingly roomy and comfortable. The breakfast was also very good, though we would have loved more fresh fruit to go with the yogurt and muesli. The Staff was also very friendly and helpful. This was one of our favorite places we've stayed on this trip, and we highly recommend it to anyone who would like to stay in the Gamla Stan area of Stockholm.

Better access to parking for those who arrive with a car would be nice, but understand that's largely a limitation of the area.

Stayed for just one night, but hope to be back on a next visit to Stockholm. Lady Hamilton is a quaint hotel, top to bottom filled up with Nordic folklorist antiques, such as a whole collection of painted clocks. Upon my arrival, I was given a room in the attic with only rooftop windows looking out on the sky. It was spacious and looked quite nice, but since I was in desperate need for a view I requested another room if possible. The staff was super nice about my request and I ended up in a smaller room, but equally cozy and with a window this time, so again, many thanks for helping me out! Breakfast was relatively basic, although the addition of devilled eggs to the breakfast buffet was a first for me. The location is excellent! Even though Gamla Stan is the tourist centre for Stockholm, at night it was quiet (I was there on a Saturday night). It’s about a 15-20 minute walk from Central Station, and you need to get a little bit uphill on an uneven street in the end, but the hotel has an elevator, so that’s about it as far as it goes luggage-wise. All in all, the hotel is not the cheapest option, but considering its location that makes a lot of sense. Much nicer than the large hotel chains in the area!

We stayed at the hotel during our visit to Stockholm for 4 days. We were glad that we chose this hotel for our stay. The hotel has a unique location within walking distance of most of the sights. The metro stop is only 400 m from the hotel. Other public transport is also very close, including the T-Central. There are many restaurants and bars in the area. The hotel is located in an older renovated house about 200 m from the Royal Palace. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, reliable wifi. Rooms are smaller but quite sufficient for a few days stay. Our thanks for a nice stay.

I enjoyed my stay at Lady Hamilton Hotel. This is a beautiful, quaint, charming hotel. It is unique with lots of antique features and intricacies. My room was very attractively decorated and the bed was very comfortable. This hotel is in an excellent location, in the Old Town just below Stockholm Cathedral and the Royal Palace. There are lots of cafés and shops close by. It is about a ten minute walk from the central station and about a five minute walk from Gamal Stan Station. All staff were very friendly, helpful and highly professional. The breakfast is very good and offers lots of choice and variety. I shall definitely return.

A quaint small hotel with quirky old objects on display. Our small double room proved to be plenty big enough for us. Comfortable bed, hot shower, enough hanging space, electrical sockets. View over a side street immaterial, it meant the room was quieter than it would have been at the front. Excellent breakfast buffet with good choice of fresh local produce and fresh baking. Location was perfect for exploring the old city and visiting places of interest on foot

Nothing! We got what we expected in an old building in a central location in the historic area. Wooden stairs could have been better lit.

No air conditioning…I am well aware of it before i confirm my booking. During my stay,it was still cool enough to deal with it specially during the night. Though still it was neccessary for me to open the windows. And because of that it can be very noisy since its at the center of the old town. But i came prepared and had earplugs with me which actually solved the problem😉😉 But this can be a major problem during peak of summer when its too hot. Otherwise I will definitely choose to stay here again🥰
