We had a very enjoyable stay at the Home Swiss Hotel and would choose to stay here again. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and was fresh, clean and modern with great facilities. Breakfast was continental with a very good selection. A real highlight for me was how friendly and helpful the staff were. From a very warm welcome at check in to show us the facilities and make sure we had our Tourist Card for free public transport, to assistance with restaurant times in the evening and a nice greeting at breakfast with a very smooth checkout process, all of the staff were very friendly, helpful and greeted us with a smile. This made a real difference to us and made our stay even more enjoyable, I would definitely recommend.

The hotel is in a fairly central location, suitable both for a quiet rest away from traffic and for easy access to the main points of interest. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay pleasant also for solo travellers. The breakfast is good. Quiet room with a large shower. Comfortable bed. Overall, it is a hotel I would definitely return to.

Only annoyance in the room is the smell perhaps due to a hint of mold on a corner of the ceiling or the type of floor, typical of many hotels, which prevents deep cleaning.

Room was a good size, the shower was great, room cleaned daily and the staff would leave on the air-con unit, so the room was cool upon our return. The bed was a little hard for me, however my husband found it fine (just my personal choice) The staff were amazing, Cecile went above and beyond to help us with trains and trams to catch and was always helpful, pleasant and very friendly - all of the staff had a same attitude that they wanted your stay to be as stress-free and pleasant as possible, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast initially appeared expensive, however these are just Geneva prices that you need to be aware of and in the comparison the breakfast was good value and of a great standard for continental. Location was good, just a short 10 min walk to the lake and the old town.

Great staff, lovely room, very comfy .. air con not allowed in Geneva but a quiet and effective fan worked well.. it’s a little way out but a good price and easy transport links.. nice bars / coffee/ patisserie within a few minutes.. really good hotel

It doesn’t have 24 he reception, but your key card works to let you in the building.. late at night it’s comforting to have someone around the place .. but it’s a small thing and more a preference than a problem

The room has a good size. The staffs were super friendly and helpful. I like the fact on each day, I had the option of taking a continental breakfast (which cost CHF19.5), an express breakfast (consisting of coffee/ tea + a glass of fruit juice + a croissant, which cost CHF6.50), or getting breakfast from other places.

I think the pillows were somewhat too soft for me. Maybe there was the option to change to something else, but I didn't try to ask.

This hotel is a very good surprise. First, staff is very kind. I asked for an iron (you know, shirts in suicases) and they brought everything a few moments later. Best of all: the silence. The road is really quite but no noise at all un the hotel. And the room was large and comfy (coming from Paris, I was not used to such place). The situation is close enough to the old Geneva and it is easy to find restaurants around. Nothing to hide, I recomend this place.

They even improved the quality of the tea. Maybe fresh fruit juice ?

Location and newly decorated

I have stayed 12 days. I have intended to check-out 4-5 days earlier but no flexibility has shown. Also I have requested late check-out only for an hour. This request was also refused and 30 min late check out was provided. We have been told that our room will be cleaned for the next customer however the hotel was pretty available.

Great stay, very nice and welcoming staff. Our room was big, well equipped, and quiet too! The hotel is in excellent position, near the city centre, surrounded by restaurants, cafes, theatres, etc. They provide free ticket for public transport for the duration of the stay. Breakfast is really good and varied. They have good expresso also.

No parking in the hotel, but at least two garages are nearby, within 500 metres.

I was asked if I wanted cleaning, which I did not want as it wastes resources. This was an excellent way for me to experience your hotel taking care of the environment! Super, efficient service from all staff I met at the front desk/reception area. Cool soap and shampoo with nice smell. This matters! Thanks

Staff are great and gym was fantastic. Breakfast is very good. Location is nice and quiet, but with many nice restaurants near by and supermarket too. I will definitely come back to Home Swiss Hotel. The name match everything. Loved.

They are doing a fantastic job. It’s hard to dislike something so good. I have enjoyed everything. But only one thing I dislike is when I checked out and to say good bye to leave such wonderful hotel and city behind.
