Excellent Location. It is located in the middle of Parc des Eaux-Vives, a really nice greenspace. Great views looking down onto Lake Geneva. Parc de La Grange is also immediately beside this property. Amazing redwood trees on the property also. If you value greenery and quiet, this is a hotel for you. Quiet. A very quiet hotel. The room. Very comfortable bed. Very clean. Very spacious. Great TV, Climate Controls, etc. Bathroom was excellent. Fridge, and Kettle (Tea/Coffee making) was great. Room was promptly cleaned every day. Excellent choice of pillows available (yes, an actual "Pillow Menu" for your choice of comfort). Staff. Very friendly and polite and helpful. Their English language proficiency was excellent. Transport. When booking is complete, the hotel will send through a local travel card ("Geneva Transport Card"), (for 1 person) which offers discounted rates on local buses, etc. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to Jardin Anglais (which is a well-known landmark). The walk is along the waterfront of Lake Geneva, with cycle lanes etc. You will pass the Jet d'Eau on the way. Alternatively, you can walk a few blocks back from the waterfront, via Rue des Eaux-Vives, and explore local Wine Bars, Cafes, etc. Note: we found that popular nearby cafes like "Marcel" and "Hunch" require Reservations. Just something to be aware of. The central Bus Station (if you plan to tour around via Flix Bus) is about 30 mins walk (2.8km). The central Train Station is about 35 mins walk. If walking is not your thing, Ubers (and local taxis) are regularly available. Shopping. The hotel is about 20-25 mins walk from Geneva's retail/shopping district on Rue du Rhône.

Nothing comes to mind. Possibly - the hotel could consider adding USB cable wall charger sockets, close to the bed. Or USB wireless charger plates. Another suggestion would be for the hotel to offer bike rentals. Lastly, it may be worth the hotel considering adding a dedicated lounge / seating area, in one of the rooms off the check-in desk.

The location in the middle of the beautiful "Parc des Eaux-vives" is unique. It is like a quiet oasis in the busy town of Geneva. The lake view is exceptional. It is a charming old historic builing. The bathrooms are very modern and very well equipped.

The room was small with little light. The bar in the room had to alcohol and no snacks. The bar in the hotel was self service with a very limited choice. The restaurant is closed in the winter and there is no way to have an omelette or scrambled eggs for breakfast, just boiled eggs that you need to prepare yourself.

Outstanding location, Outstanding Property, Outstanding People! For me this is easily the best place in Geneva from where you could explore everything you may wish to see, especially if you have family. The property is located inside this huge but serene park which is just lovely for adults and children alike, Then the bus stop in front of the property can connect you anywhere, also the Mouette access to cross the lake at your will is fantastic. The view of the lake and mountain was brilliant from the room, the restaurant and the Patio. But perhaps the most important aspect was the people there. The staff were amazingly helpful and I MUST have a special mention for the lady at the front desk (I think her name was Alice Hunolt), I cant describe how amazingly helpful, considerate, sincere and responsive she was all the time. Every time we went to her for something, she would be to the point, very polite and also looked out to help a bit more than we asked. People like her are the biggest asset and I also thank the other staff who helped and guided us when we sought something. All in all, it was an excellent stay and we do hope to return to this place when visiting Geneva again.

First of all, I want to thank Simon, Mathew, and Alice. They are one of the best staff that I have ever met in hotels. This hotel is a palace with the biggest frontyard garden in Geneva. The rooms were cozy and unique, and the bathrooms were advanced. The hotel's service is very generous. Free parking, Nice breakfast, Geneva lake infromt of the palace, they offer the Geneva transportation pass for the busses and trams and boats. Again thank you to Alice, Mathew, and Simon!

There is nothing I disliked

What an incredible place. We walked up through the peaceful, safe feeling park from the ferry landing. Once we arrived we almost thought we were at the wrong place-- too good to be true? No, it's true. It's a beautiful building and an impressive establishment, inside and out. We even had a surprise upgrade to a suite. We couldn't have been happier with everything: the space, cleanliness, comfort, attention to detail, extras in the room, professional staff (especially at reception), restaurant, (dinner on the terrace, and a really great breakfast spread). We felt like royalty. We wanted to stay longer. Will definitely stay again. Easy walking to the waterfront and historic district.

Not a thing we didn't like.

The hotel was not fully open for its summer season, but we loved it as it is on a beautiful park close to the lake and on the edge of the city - so peaceul and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the continental breakast a perfect start to the day. Because Geneva has an exceptionally good integrated public transport system which is free to tourists - everywhere is reachable.

Nothing to dislike.

Amazing, elegant little hotel within walking distance to Geneva center but in the middle of a beautiful park. Tasty breakfast with a lake view:). Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. Friendly and professional staff. We will definitely come back.

This is a small hotel in a beautiful park setting. The staff were delightful and very helpful. The rooms are a good size. A great place to stay if you are driving as there is ample parking right outside.

Due to the small number of guests, the breakfast is fairly limited. Quality is good however.

Location was superb, rooms were excellent with great view. staff very helpful and even thought it was not fully manned due to out of season this was reflected in the rate paid . complimentary bar was provided - happy days !

Corridors unstairs had a bit of an unpleasant smell about them which I note had been mentioned before in other reviews

excellent location: calm, quiet, inside the parc, excellent view, great breakfast at terrace looking at the lake. Nice hotel itself, cozy. 2 steps from Geneva plage, where in good weather it’s possible to swim in the lake or meet romantic sunsets. Nice walk to city center by the famous fountain in total of 20 min. (or by few buses are accessible too). 10min to Geneva official plage with swimming pools and also Spa center.

1) arrival: no city map was suggested, neither city ticket opportunity (which is usually a norm in Geneva). given the hotel is good 20min walk from downtown, this may help the visitors. 2) the check-out time is 7:00- 12:00. while returning after breakfast at around 10, we found the cleaning lady in our room already making full cleaning for next arrivals while we have not left yet. so we had to leave earlier than planned - this shall be corrected - either the time of cleaning service arrival or the check out time.
