Staffs was friendly and helpful, Breakfast was excellent, we have large room. Location is not too far from train station. In the afternoon they give you free coffee and tea, cake, fruits. This hotel is generous.

1. The lift and the floors bit confusing at the beginning, 2 and half floor .. the floor to the apartment which is through spa, sauna and sport center. 2. About the restaurant just advise please put pictures of the food because as an Indonesian i can not imagine the kind of food they going to serve even though there are description in English on the menu.

It had a full kitchen so we could make our own breakfast. 7 min walk from the main train station. Restaurants and shops very close by. Friendly and helpful staff

Its a bit hard to find the entrance to the hotel. Also its tricky carrying bags up some stairs from the reception area and then taking the lift, walking thru the gym and then again catching a lift. Strange way of reaching our room.

I stayed at Eiger Selfness Hotel for 5 nights and I had a wonderful time. The hotel is centrally located in a beautiful spot, with a view of the mountains. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they made me feel welcome and comfortable. One of the highlights of my stay was the daily sauna, which was available for the guests. It was a great way to unwind and rejuvenate after a day of hiking. Another thing I loved was the afternoon tea, which was a delight. There were also many small little things that made my stay wonderful.

The room was very spacious and pretty with fantastic views! The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and patient. The hotel is very customer-oriented and provides opportunities for all types of families and individuals to enjoy their vacation.

For the price , I did expect the room to be in better condition. We had a broken radiator that wouldn't turn off (during summer), the floors are water damaged, the kitchen is outdated, one of the bathroom doors was very hard to close, and the room was generally fairly dark due to locations of light fixtures. We would absolutely go back, but would look to do so at a lower price point.

We really enjoyed our stay. Good location, walking distance to train station, Grindelwald First, Coop Supermaket, etc. Staffs were excellent & friendly and especially Melanie thank you for a surprise gift on my birthday. I love there’s kitchen so we could prepare breakfast and dinner, also there’s washing machine & dryer. We didnt feel cold as room was warm enough. Beds were comfortable. We will stay here again if we go to Grindelwald.

Nothing, only if you can add more washing machine & dryer it would be better.

the ground floor Eiger Aparthotel apartment is spacious for a family of 4. We booked with the cleaning package with as bonus the coffee + OK cake between 3 and 5pm in the hotel. The gym in the hotel is top and walk to the station 5 minutes easy.

What is there not to like about the clean Swiss air when you are surrounded by impressive mountains, including the Eiger itself?

The very warm welcome we received from all of the staff. The beautiful surroundings within the complex. We had an apartment which was well appointed. Location was excellent for access to trains and cablecars.

The kitchen was well setup except a microwave and/or baking tray for cooking smaller items would have been beneficial. Being in an apartment with a kitchen, it is expected that we would purchase some meals from local supermarkets but the options for cooking these items were limited.

We are a family of 6 ,stayed at the guest house,the view of the mountains are phenomenal,apartment is very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Very close to the main street of Grindelwald, just a few minutes walk to the supermarket and many restaurants.The free afternoon tea and cake every afternoon is a great benefit for us.

the bathroom drainage system can be improved

when we arrived there was a misunderstanding regarding number of rooms we booked but booking.com were clear because floor plan attached with the reservation was clear , but after all it was solved . rooms in chalets need more care in terms of changing furniture and taking care of removing the weird smell that we smelled when we entered room

Good for family as there is a pantry with appliances for simple cooking and the room size is big enough for 3 of us. Fruits like apples and plum are provided at the reception and fitness centre and afternoon tea is offered free of charge every day is much appreciated. Welcome drinks can be served at the restaurant and there is a selection of red wine, cold drinks and beer which is very impressive. A bottle of home made ice tea is a sonvenir to each person when check out.

If cooking oil and salt can be provided would be perfect. If the renovation works of the front reception have been completed, it will be much more convenient for check in since it is required to check in at the back which is a sloping alley and is a little bit difficult for carrying large luggages.
