Everything about our stay was exceptional! We had a balcony with mountain views. The meal in the restaurant we had for dinner was delicious. The breakfast had hot options as well as ample choices.

I wish I had booked more nights at this hotel.

We stayed in their apartment, which allows us to cook rather than their hotel rooms. The apartment requires a bit outdoor to be reached, but the location is very close to its hotel. But, the walk is outdoor and there are only stairs. If you have heavy luggage, you need to be aware. The location is also convenient and close to the train station, jungfrau station, and coop. The staff is friendly and responds very promptly. We turned on many things that blew the fuse. We didn't expect that, and it did catch us off guard a bit. The staff said the building is old and it happens sometimes. So, if you book the apartment and when it happens, there is no need to panic. The staff can fix it in a minute. Free kitchen utensils can be borrowed, and shampoo and body wash are provided, too. Breakfast is included. It is buffet style, and the basics are provided.

The location was perfect to us, less than 100 meters from the train station, and also the Coop. The city buses were just across street. The breakfast was good. We were given a spacious room with a mountain view, which we loved. We wish we used the bus lines for the nearby attractions but noticed two main ones were closed after Oct 20. Overall we liked this hotel and will have no problem coming back in the future.

Well, not sure I should put in the dislikes, but the central heating made the room really warm. We had to open the bathroom window to cool off a bit in the night. The staff offered to help in the second night but we decided to manage it ourselves. Then on the last night of our stay, I caught cold not realizing the maid left another window open after cleaning the room during the day. Again no complaint here but a note to the future guests.

I have stayed here 5 times over the last 3 years and this is my favorite place in Grindewald. Location is perfect. It is situated directly across from the train station and main bus terminal. You are provided a free bus pass so you can travel anywhere in the area for free. The breakfast is flavorful and has a lot of variety

The Wifi is fast but the sign-in process can be tricky on some devices. The breakfast is good but the food choices do not changes from day-to-day. The rooms were recently renovated and the lights were changed to either all on or all off,,, so if you want just a little light you have to use the bathroom light.

Location is excellent to access everything. We had a spacious, comfortable and tidy room, with a balcony facing spectacular views to Eiger mountain. We liked the frame of the bed. It is a nice touch for a hotel room in the mountains. The sound insulation of the room is very good. The staff is awesome, either cleaning, breakfast, reception or restaurant, no question was a problem to them. They provided immediately a kettle and a fan to the room upon our request. Reception is on first floor but it may be accessed by elevator through the restaurant. It was indeed a lovely stay and definitely returning to this hotel.

The old bath tube is an old style, not very easy to be used by persons with reduced mobility.

We loved everything about our stay. The room was a great size, with a larger balcony attached. There was a table and chair that we were able to use as a desk. All the staff were friendly. The location is incredible- you can’t get better. 5min from the train station and the supermarket plus right in front of the main bus terminal. They also provided us with a kettle, so we were able to make coffee in our room outside of hours.

I was a little disappointed with the breakfast offering for hot food. No vegetables at all, just some type of meat each day and eggs so it didn’t really cater to vegetarians or vegans. Also a toaster would be a great addition.

Hotel is in a fantastic location incredibly close to the train station. For those not using the train, parking is available for 10 CHF a night. The hotel has a nice restaurant with great food and reasonable prices. Breakfast was good, with an assortment of breads, cold meats and cheeses, yougurt, and juice, and with a lovely view of the Eiger. We stayed in a double room with balcony (two rooms with a shared bathroom between). Despite sharing a bathroom, the balcony is not shared, with a walled separation between each room, providing plenty of privacy. I would stay here again.

Lighting in the room could have been a bit brighter -- it was a bit hard to find my black socks on the floor in the morning without having to use my phone flashlight.

We love staying here, it is our second time. The apartment #8 is really comfortable and perfect for what we needed. Loved having the refrigerator and oven in the room. The location is excellent, close to the train station and bus station. Very convenient. The daily breakfast was filling and tasty, always fresh and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful. Loved the terminal at the desk where you can check on the weather at different sites. We will try and stay there again next time.

Extremely cosy room with yellow bedding and timber tones. New carpet and opening windows and doors onto the balcony for amazing views (get a balcony, you won't regret it) Big.comfy beds. We had breakfast included which was mainly bread, pastries, cheese and meat. Excellent location right next to train station. Would stay again.

Quite expensive hotel, but it is Grindelwald and a very popular place. The shower over the bath was awkward for us bigger and older people. The hairdryer has a safety cut out giving about 15 seconds of drying time before it needed to cool down.

Near to train station and gondola station up to First. Provide visitors card for free public transportation and 20% off for the gondola.
