The hotel was very posh and classy. Great ambience and settings. Very comfortable and spacious rooms and I also had a balcony with some views towards the mountains. The check-in reception staff were excellent! Very welcoming and polite, thorough in their work and helpful.

A few of the restaurant staff members were slightly rude as they were in a rush. The breakfast selection is very basic - not intercontinental and also does not offer very much variety outside of the basic buffet.

Staff were all on the same page, friendly, personal and genuine. Melanie checked me in and remembered my first name throughout my stay. Breakfast was good. Only downside was the coffee was in short supply; in mini cups, and the machine a little difficult to use. I need a large coffee every morning to start the day! Room was spot on, nice big bath. Free stuff in the mini bar, nice balcony, comfy bed. Room was perfect temperature. A little noisy outside the room early in the morning with staff moving about but nothing major. Bar was decent, with good selection of gins. Forgot his name but the South African server was very pleasant. Check in and Check out is very advanced, all online etc. Not really seen it at that level before so was impressed to see my final bill online at breakfast time where I could pay it online. For anyone wanting to watch sport, the Spinne Espresso bar over the road from this hotel shows lots of sport if you just ask.

Location - absolutely perfect , 5 minutes from the town station, plenty of shops along the way. With a co-op just down the road which was ideal for drinks and snacks for the day out Staff - incredible friendly , always happy to help, provided me with the correct charger , offered me a breakfast box as I was leaving the hotel before breakfast begun, offered to put the spa on early for me on my last day. The staff in this hotel are nothing short of amazing , forever smiling, always happy to assist and make the stay welcome Hotel - very clean and tidy, room was a single room, very modern and everything I needed Would definitely stay here again

the temprature of the water was not stable when having shower,probably many hotel guests had shower at the same time.didnt give so much attention as we enjoyed our stay:)

We loved this hotel! It's one of the best we have ever been to! It's luxurious, and authentic, with beautiful mountain views, an amazing spa, and delicious breakfast. The Rooms are spacious and have a lot of room for your stuff, the hotel itself is big and has so much to offer: gym, group training, restaurant with very delicious Swiss food, lounge area, bar and many more. We were also delighted to find out that the parking lot cost was only 5 CHF per night [ after 40 euros in Zurich! ]. The staff is super friendly and helpful We recommend this hotel and wish we could stay there more.

The location of this hotel was excellent providing fantastic views of the mountains and within walking distance of the train station! The breakfast selection was great and of the top quality! Customer service from all staff was very friendly and attentive

The only disappointment was the heat in the room which was too high and made sleep at night very uncomfortable! All radiators were off so we had no idea as to why it was so hot. We mentioned this to reception and was advised this would be investigated but did not hear back - also the pillow selection was limited - I need a large ‘tempur’ style firm foam pillow to provide neck support- the firm hemp seed pillow provided was too small and was too hard to provide the correct support , the large down pillows were too soft, even with on on top of each other ! We regrettably would be unable to stay again unless there were the correct type of pillow was available !

Great location right in the heart of Grindelwald’s endless attractions. We had a junior suite (non view) which was probably more than what we needed but bed was huge and balcony was useful. Amenities are great if you’re seeking a spa break, although we didn’t have time to enjoy them. Would be ideal in winter as it was super insulated and flooring etc seems to cater towards snow, ice, and boots, etc. Barry’s restaurant also very good for dinner. Cozy.

The tub, main sink, and shower area was open to the bedroom area. Not normally a problem for the couples or younger families who probably book the junior suites but I was with my 20yo son so we had to drape the wooden (widely) slatted divide with a blanket. Problem solved and worked out fine. Or one of us sat in the separate TV area while the other bathed. Hotel is over several buildings and floors but they give you a map. A little confusing but you soon work it out.

Everything perfect. Top tier service. Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. This is the peak of hospitality. Far better than most 5-star hotels. Next time I'm in Grindelwald, I will most definitely stay at Eiger Mountain Resort again and again and again. You won't find better service, comfort or convience anywhere else. Conveniently located about 5 minutes walk from the train stop. Superb breakfast with lots of food options to choose from. Superb.

My only (small) critique is that the beds weren't firm enough to my liking.. but that's just my personal preference. Everything else was top excellence. Great boutique hotel.

Hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was great and since it runs till 11am, you can take your time to enjoy. My friend and I each had a single room and the rooms are clean and spacious with a nice little balcony to sit and chill. Free mini fridge/refill is quite generous of them given the high prices in Switzerland. Lastly, the staff at this hotel are some of the nicest and most helpful I have encountered in my years of travels.

Not a fan of the shower set up. I think they want you to take baths instead 😁. The bed is a bit squeaky but not a big deal.

Perfect location, central to everything. Interior looks nice and authentic, nicely refurbished building. Staff is very friendly and genuinely motivated. Rooms are well designed and comfy. Restaurant is also a good option to try.

Location of our room within the building was a bit bad luck. With staircases and the luggage storage just outside it seemed to be not the most quiet place during early morning hours (slamming doors, talking hotel guests, luggage on the stairs). Also, be prepared to drive your care carefully to the outdoor parking place, which is uphill behind the hotel at roof top level. In our case, the parking was fully occupied (although we could not make any upfront reservation) and got the last garage place offered (which was an adventure again driving down the care into the underground).
