Checkin was done early and there was no problem. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Parking was available right in front of the hotel with CHF 12 payment. Room had a very beautiful view from the balcony. Food was good at the restaurant. Walkable distance from the hotel to Staubach Waterfall.

Breakfast had very limited options and no warm meals. Could have been better. Heating in the room could not be adjusted, so we had to open the windows at night as it became very hot and suffocating.

The staff was friendly and helpful. There was no elevator and the desk help carried my suitcase up the stairs.

Super location in the centre of town and a few minutes walk from the station, nevertheless it was quiet. Excellent breakfast at quite flexible timings. I ate in the restaurant a couple of evenings and that was very good too. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. I had a single room, but it was a good size and the bathroom was well laid out. The bed was especially comfortable with a good selection of pillows and covers. Good wardrobe, desk, wifi etc.

The lack of a lift might be a problem for some, but it didn't bother me. 3 flights of stairs are much easier than the hikes I was doing.

The room was comfortable and clean, and well-located, an easy walk to the train station. The restaurant is also really good. I suggest you make a reservation.

The reception only gave us one key, though we asked for another. This was really inconvenient, for our party of three, because we were in the annex, and you needed a key to get into the building. Since we weren’t always together, and not all of us had phones, we just had to yell really loud for the person upstairs to let us in.

I love the hotel. Money is worth to pay for this hotel. The view from the balcony is superb! I loveeet!

When i was about to get my key. No frontdesk available. I’ve been ringing the bell since I waited for long time there. And i tried to ring the bell again, then the reception arrived, and told me “I heard you I heard you no need to ring. But i waited there for long time already. That is the only thing that I dont like. It was the frontdesk last 21/08/24 around 5pm. The rest of the frontdesk are awesome.

Breakfast was complimentary and very good. Staff helpful and polite and cleaning service very good too. Also provided car parking space outside hotel (for additional fee)

We were not placed in a room at Hotel Oberland, but instead given a room at Hotel Crystal, on the opposite side of the road. We hadn't expected this and was a bit disappointing, as the children were excited about staying in a Swiss chalet-style hotel. Instead, we had to enter through a ski shop.

There wasn’t anything to not like for us. The only thing to consider is there is no elevator if you need it. We didn’t have a problem carrying our luggage up the two flights though. Also, the heat was significant so we had to open the window while sleeping. Our nasal passages dried out overnight. We never complained to management. Maybe they could have lowered the heat.

We loved everything about the hotel. The interior is very cozy and very Swiss. We had a marvellous view of the Staubbach waterfall from the little terrace. The bed was very comfortable and the room itself was very clean. The breakfast is good; hotel provides all basic food one would want for the breakfast. The location is perfect. Bike rental is in 2 minutes walk, grocery story in 7 minutes, and the Staubbach itself is in 5 minutes walk. The staff was very nice and helpful; ladies navigated us through all of our questions and highlights of the area on the map. We loved the hotel and would choose it for our next visit to Lauterbrunnen. By the way, definitely rent an electrical bike for two hours. It will save you tons of time and energy, and give an amazing experience of enjoying all of the amazing views the valley of waterfalls may offer you.

It's a typical Swiss mountain hotel. Nice, but no luxury. You really don't lack anything. The staff is nice and the breakfast good. And within walking distance of the train station. The food in the restaurant is outstanding and dining on their terrace made me feel very happy. Next time we choose Oberland again.

We had a very small room. But the rate we got was way better than average. Still showering on 1 square meter was challenging. But no complaints here. You don't visit the mountains to stay in your hotel room.

Breakfast was wonderful. Very filling and good variety of options to choose from. The Location is great - hardly 300 metres from the Laturbrunnen station and on the main street. Also the room was adequate for a single occupant. The Cheese Fondue is amazing and amongst the best you can get. Hotel Oberland serves amongst the best food u will get in the town. Price however are a bit on the higher side and the food prices on menu are for a single person so it gets double if you order a dish for two persons.

I frankly liked everything about the property. My room for single occupant could have been slightly larger but thats not much of an issue. They could have added an electric kettle in the room for the guest to make their own tea / coffee especially when the weather is below freezing temperature and it is snowing / raining.
