I loved the breakfast. I also loved how welcoming the staff was. The hot chocolate was so comforting paired with the view that faces the awesome part of the valley. the room we had was very clean and after a day of activities, it was all we needed. Using the key took some time figuring out, but it was also a novel experience to use a lock and key from several years in the past. We got our own little balcony that we used to cool our drinks that's ice cold and sit down to just look again at the awe inspiring view. Checkout was a breeze~ just leave the keys and all. Would recommend it 100%

The bed was on the stiffer side but because they provided a cushy comforter so it was all good. There are also no elevators but that was expected. I just don't think it would be easy for people carrying heavy luggages. Packing light is the best. maybe bring some earplugs cause it's a wooden structure where you can hear footsteps above you. but the noise was relatively good even without ear plugs or ear buds.

The room was clean and tidy, and perfect for what we needed it for! The location was perfect, right next to restaurants, shops, and transportation (but it was not noisy at all). The staff was very friendly and we really enjoyed talking with them. The associated restaurants was great as well. We spent both nights there, loved the food and the atmosphere/ambiance was so cute. Such a great value for the price, we would definitely stay here again.

There was no much that we didn't like. It was a simple room, and we knew that when booking. Our room was in another building a little further away, but still very convenient location

Location: literally right outside the Lautrrbrunnen train station and also the cable car. Close to town and walking distance to the waterfalls. Small Coop just below the hotel. Room: one of the more spacious room we had in Switzerland Breakfast: Wide variety and yummy selection of breakfast Personnel: Super friendly and helpful reception. She even helped us carry a heavy luggage up the stairs. Didn't catch her name, young lady with long dark wavy hair and a beautiful smile.

Kettle in the room would have been nice but the lady offered to us warm water in a thermos No elevator

Absolutely lovely traditional feel accommodation. We wanted somewhere that had swiss character & charm & that's what we got. Breakfast was great each day. Plenty of options. Very convenient location that's basically facing the train station, so it's very easy to catch all your trains to where you need to go.

Being from Australia, we're used to reverse cycle air conditioning, but we found where we stayed in Switzerland there's only heating - no cooling options. The cooling option is to open the windows/doors to let a breeze in. This is fine, however, due to the hotels location, we either had to choose to close the room up (to avoid early start consistent train station noise & traffic noise), but then be in a stuffy room ,or, have windows & doors open, but then hear all the train station/traffic noise from daybreak onwards. It would have been nice to be able to close windows & doors to minimise traffic noise, but still have a cooling option. My Husband is 6'3 & the length of the 2 single bed framed beds in there made it hard for him to have a comfortable sleep.

Excellent location right off the train platform. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The restaurant and included breakfast was an excellent addition. I was able to drop off my luggage and begin exploring before check-in. The restrooms (my measure of any location's quality) downstairs in the restaurant were impeccably clean.

While the room and bathroom were nice, there was just enough room for the bed and nothing else. Luckily I just had a small roller bag otherwise I am not sure where I could have walked around in the room. But this was a small issue in the grand scheme.

Location was amazing, must recommend this hotel to friends. Next to zipline that takes you to Murren top where view was exceptional and like heaven. Near to the local market and waterfall. Comfort bed, cleaning was good, very helpful staff. Very good breakfast, Good car parking locations, We surely will book again... :)

Room heater was not working as the weather changed suddenly and there was snowfall on Murren. No lift/elevator so it was difficult to take luggage to 2nd floor.

This was very good, right behind the station and next to the cable car, in the very center of town Pizzas are very good :)

When we arrived at the hotel, the lady while we were checking in was not warm and friendly...I have to describe her well, she had glasses and was irritable, I think she was tired of her workload, but this cannot be an excuse because tourists who come to be alone with nature for a few days want to see friendly employees first of all.

I stayed here for 7 days and it was one of my best stays yet. My room had an incredible view of the mountains and it was also very cozy. Even though I had to share washroom and shower, I didn't have any problems waiting my turn. Location-wise it was perfect and so convenient. Only steps away from the train station and bus stop. I love that they do clean up everyday to replenish the amenities needed not just in shared areas but also each rooms. I had great options when it comes to their included breakfast. The staff were super nice throughout my whole stay. I would go back there if I could.

Hallway lights turns off automatically after a minute or two I guess its to save electricity. So if you want to go to the washroom at night use a flashlight especially when youre in the middle rooms

The check in was smooth as the lady at reception was fast, friendly and super nice, she helped us to carry the luggage to the top floor where our room is. The breakfast was filled with bread, ham and cheese which is what we like. Room is facing directly to the main road overlooking the station and snow mountain, it is a prime location where it is near to everywhere. Room is super cozy as there is heating system. The bar was open on Sunday so you don't need to worry you can't find food on Sunday. We are happy to taste the local beer recommended by the staff and overall it's such a pleasant stay!

It seems you need to wait for a longer time for foods when you order at the restaurant. Second is the sound insulation wasn't excellent because the building itself is constructed with timber so whenever you walk upstairs you will feel the movement and noise that might disturb other people in the building.

+ like 1 minute walk to train station + very close to supermarket + the town is so small that you can walk down it in 15 minutes. + breakfast was good - mainly cold cuts (meat and cheese), with good coffee and fruit + had a small TV in room which was ideal for me to watch the football + staff recommended not to walk to Wengen, very pleased I took that recommendation and just took a train and walked back to Lauterbrunnen (1 hour).

- shared shower floor got too wet but honestly was a great stay and that’s the only fault.
