Rude staff behaviour and late checkout

This charming little hotel is perfect for its price and value. Small yet comfortable, quiet and the rooms were clean. It’s centrally located in Lauterbrunnen and although the restaurant isn’t affiliated with the hotel, it’s convenient. The front receptionist was helpful and the elevator was a nice bonus, especially since we had a wheelchair. Oh the view of Stabbauch fall from our room balcony and outside the hotel, is amazing!

A mini fridge or coffee pot in the room would’ve been a nice touch. The shower was a little crammed.

Great location. Good sized rooms. Views were incredible. Safe. Good overall stay for the price.

Front desk only staffed during check-in hours and check-out hours, so if you need something at 2pm there's no one there. Very small shower, which was out of soap but we couldn't get it refilled, as there was no staff. Older building in general.

Generally I don't write reviews but to help community I am writing this. Location is excellent. many vloggers have videos taken just opposite the hotel as its good location. Restaurant is good a but pricey. We ate here and Hornerpub (2min walk. Good food and not pricey. Indian curry and rice is good+ other food as well) We are family of 4 from Uk and room was good but definitely bathroom needs improvement but its not bad to use now. Hotel has free parking.

Check-in staff will appear only at 4pm. Even if you reach hotel at 3 or 3.30pm you need to wait. there is no flexibility. I found this bit rude

It's an excellent location to stay , staff are so friendly & cooperative we felt like our own family , edpecially the well respected gentleman sitting in office & reception, I forgot his name but so much friendly & cooperative , thanks a lot to you ( sorry I forgot your name ) Whenever I will get chance to stay in Switzerland it will be my first choice to pick this hotel , an excellent location , just 4minutes by walk we can reach on train station & bus stop , excellent view of hotel

I think everything was perfect only keep in your mind. There is one supermarket ,vlosing time is 18:30,,

Such a stunning little hotel! The staff were so friendly & also the restaurant attached was lovely!

It was a bit outdated, a couple of our plug sockets didn’t work & check in wasn’t until 4pm, we got there at 4pm and our room still wasn’t ready so we had to wait around 30 mins.

The location was perfect! In the main strip of the village with easy accessibility to restaurants, shops and train station. We had a room with a balcony and it was perfect! With a view to Staubbach Falls and other smaller ones, it made it extra special to be in Lauterbrunnen. The Hotel was lovely, with friendly staff and the room was serviced daily. I couldn't fault the experience. It was as expected, nice clean accommodation with easy access to all that Berner Oberland has to offer. I would be more than happy to stay here again.

Nothing - all great!

The location was wonderful. Close to restaurants, train station, and very scenic. The view from our room was spectacular.

The room we were in was an attic room on the fourth floor. The elevator only goes up to the 3rd and then a short staircase to the 4th. The stairway was very dark when we got off the elevator or came out of our room. We had to wave our arms around to see the stairs. Definitely needs better sensors. Also the curtains were quite old and in need of replacing. There was a refrigerator in the room but it didn’t work. The mattress needs to be replaced. A few dollars spent to freshen up the room would go a long way.

We loved the location so close to everything. It was warm and cozy and so convenient to everything. The price was amazing for the place and location too.

The rooms had a very small bathroom but it worked. No AC but there was a fan. The staff was a bit unfriendly and stuck up but also very helpful at times with information. The thing that made this hotel priceless for me is their honesty. I forgot my Apple AirPods and they searched and found it and they shipped it back to me for free. They didn’t have to do that. So will definitely stay again.

Staff were not overly accommodating
